The present paper concentrates on the linguistic behaviors prevailing in EFL students in Al-Anbar distinguished school for Girls. These behaviors are displayed through the choice of language, and politeness strategies employed by EFL students in their interaction with each other. Thus, the population of the current study is EFL students from the second intermediate and fifth preparatory classes in the secondary distinguished school for girls in Al-Anbar Province in the first and second semester of their academic year 2021-2022. Based on this population, a total of 40 students have volunteered to participate in this study. The age of the participants is in-between (14-17) years. Consequently, more than 30 samples of their online messages are collected by the researcher. These messages are sent by the participants of the study via Whatsapp groups established by the teachers of English language in this secondary distinguished school. To deeply explore the politeness strategies and to find the difference in age for these groups, these messages are analyzed by adopting the qualitative content analysis technique informed by Brown’s and Levisohn’s theory (1987) of politeness strategies. The findings reveal that EFL students from that school utilize various politeness strategies. Based on the frequency of these strategies, the researcher concludes that the age differences among participants play a pivotal role in determining the application and the choices of politeness strategies through their online interaction. As a result, the data of the present paper shows that participants from fifth stage are more aware and knowledgeable to these strategies than those who are from second intermediate stage.

In the first section; the questions about “what is the protected one?” and “what is the changed one?” in narration while a narration transforms to text will be discussed. In the second section, it is investigated that how "repetition" transformed to "remembering" in terms of memory, or in other words, how "symbolic" connotative recall transferred to "imaginary" thinkable remembering as the basic notion of oral culture. In the last section, the transition between symbolic and imaginary shown as they are actually the foundation of an evolution from aesthetic narrative to ritualistic words. Consequently, on contrary to the modern thoughts and thinkers which/who claim that the tension caused by the differentiation of ages is a “break”, the main purpose of this study is to show that it is not a “break” but “continuation”. The age difference of narration which occurs as a result of the difference between the word and writing/literacy; which is opposed to modernize the ideas and thinkers which handle this difference as a "break" may be seen as a "continuing".Öz Bu çalışmada, bir anlatının sözden yazıya, tekrardan hatırlamaya, ritüelden estetiğe nasıl bir dönüşüm geçirdiği ortaya konulmaktadır.

The study was conducted on 126 cattle (94 females and 32 males) of different ages (1->5 years) randomly selected from July 2007 to August 2008 in Mosul. Indirect ELISA test and other traditional tests (rose Bengal test, tube agglutination test and 2- mercapto-ethanol test) were used to determine the incidence of bovine brucellosis. The highest incidence of disease was recorded by Indirect ELISA, 23.01%, whereas it was 18.25%, 11.90% and 4.76% by rose Bengal, tube agglutination and 2- Mercapto-ethanol tests, respectively. The highest incidence was in females in all serological tests and the highest incidence was in females at the age between 1-3 years whereas in males more than 3 years of age it was 23.07%. The results of tube agglutination test revealed the titer 1/40 occurred mostly compared with other titers. Six chronic cases were determined by 2-mercapto-ethanol test. The degree of agreement of negative samples with rose Bengal test and indirect ELISA, tube agglutination, and 2- mercapto-ethanol tests was 94.17%, 100% and 100%, respectively, and by indirect ELISA with rose Bengal, tube agglutination and 2-mercapto-ethanol tests was 79.31%, 51.72% and 20.68%, respectively.

Through the examination of 78 fecal sample of sheep and 52 fecal sample of cattle collected from different region in Ninevah governorate, the percentage of infection with schistosoma eggs in sheep and cattle were 7.69%, 19.23 respectively with significant differences between sheep and cattle, two types of eggs of schistosoma had been identified in sheep they were : S. bovis and S. indicum (first record) while in cattle S. bovis, S. indicum and S.intercalatum (first record) were diagnosed. Infection with S. bovis formed highest percentage in sheep and cattle 83.3%, 70% respectively. The results revealed significant differences between type of infection in sheep with significant difference between the type of infection in cattle, and the single infection formed highest percentage in sheep and cattle 83.33%, 70% respectively. The percentage of infection appeared with high rate in sheep and cattle with aged more than 3 years 9.8%, 40% respectively with significant difference between groups of age in cattle. No significant difference appeared between males and females of sheep and cattle. The worms of S. bovis were diagnosed in portal hepatic and mesenteric veins of sheep in Akra area(first record) and a number of sheep in this area were died.

A descriptive epidemiological survey was made in Nineveh governorate 1999-2004 for determination of broiler clinical caecal coccidiosis incidence in broiler chickens. Out of total 3594 broiler patches reared in this period, 1918 (53.36%) were positive to caecal coccidiosis. The highest percentages (35.34%) of coccidial cases were recorded in the year 2000. There was a decreasing tendency in recording caecal coccidiosis from 24.29% in 1999 to 6.77% in 2004. There was a positive relationship between the patch size (number of birds) in each year and the incidence of caecal coccidiosis. Of the main 7 NINEVAH governmental localities, Kara kosh, practiced the highest incidence of caecal coccidiosis through 1999-2004, in which 1615(49.21%) broiler patches were reared out of the total 3594 broiler patches reared in all 7 localities. Seasonal effect on the incidence of caecal coccidiosis show that the highest were reported in Spring then Autumn, followed by Winter and Summer months. Most of the broiler patches experienced caecal coccidiosis between 3-6 weeks of age. From 1918 positive broiler patches to coccidiosis, 1344 patches were fed diets without anticoccidials, while 574 positive broiler patches were fed diets with anticoccidials. There was a decreasing tendency in caecal coccidiosis with increasing number of broiler patches fed diets amended with anticoccidials from 1999 till 2004. The hygienic significance in reducing clinical caecal coccidiosis was discussed.

The purpose of this study is to determine the age differences for open bite malocclusion concerning facial skeletal and dentoalveolar height. The study was carried out on a sample of 50 students (24 males and 26 females) aged 12–15 years with Class I occlusion selected according to certain criteria among the students of secondary schools in the center of Mosul City. The sample was divided into two age groups: 12–13 years old, and 14–15 years old. Lateral cephalometric radiograph was taken for each subject. Twenty one cephalometric measurements (nine angular and twelve linear) and five ratios had been determined. The data were statistically analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences. The results revealed that males showed significant increase in total posterior facial height, upper posterior facial height and ramus height with increasing age, while females showed increase of upper anterior dental height and decrease the ratio between upper posterior dental height and upper anterior dental height with increasing age. Concerning angles, females approved significant increase of the angle formed by the intersection between occlusal plane and palatal plane (OP–PP), while males showed a slight decrease of the angle of palatal plane inclination in relation to anterior cranial base (SN–PP angle) with increasing age.
