This study discussed about the use of active learning methods in Fiqh learning in Islamic Boarding School. This research used qualitative approach by collecting data through library research. The primary data was articles about active learning methods. Data collection procedures were carried out by collecting various books, articles, theses, and dissertations that discussed about Fiqh subject and Islamic education in Islamic boarding school (pesantren). Research data were analyzed through deductive and inductive process. The result indicated that Active Learning method could be used to teach Fiqh subject in the Islamic Boarding School. The material taught should be appropriated with the Active Learning Method used. By using active learning method, it was expected that the students of Islamic boarding school were engaged, motivated, and interested to learn Fiqh subject.Abstrak:Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif dalam pembelajaran Fiqh di Pondok Pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui penelitian kepustakaan. Data primer adalah artikel tentang metode pembelajaran aktif. Prosedur pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan berbagai buku, artikel, tesis, dan disertasi yang membahas tentang mata pelajaran Fiqh dan pendidikan Islam di pondok pesantren. Data penelitian dianalisis melalui proses deduktif dan induktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Pembelajaran Aktif dapat digunakan untuk mengajar mata pelajaran Fiqh di Pondok Pesantren. Materi yang diajarkan harus disesuaikan dengan Metode Pembelajaran Aktif yang digunakan. Dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran aktif, diharapkan para siswa pondok pesantren terlibat, termotivasi, dan tertarik untuk belajar mata pelajaran Fiqh.

This research aimed to identify the role of parental involvement toward the students’ learning motivation. This research was conducted using quantitative method. The approach of this research was ex-post facto. The subjects of the research were 136 fourth grade students of elementary school. The instrument of the research used was questionnaire. The technique of data analysis was regression analysis. The result of the research showed that the parental involvement role on learning motivation reaches 39.7%. It could be concluded that the parental involvement role has positive effect on the fourth grade students’ learning motivation. This research showed the importance of parental involvement role towards students’ learning motivation. These results were expected to provide understanding from the school committee to assure parents that their supports were important in the process of their children education. Therefore, all parties should be involved in improving the quality of children's education.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peranan orng tua terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan ex-post facto. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 136 siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peranan dalam keterlibatan orang tua terhadap motivasi siswa mencapi 39,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterlibaatan orang tua memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menujukkan pentingnya peran orang tua pada motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberi pemahaman pada pihak sekolah agar mengingatkan para orang tua siswa bahwa dukungan mereka sangat penting dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, semua pihak harus terlibat dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak-anak.

In this paper, elementary methods for modifying a PG-MDS code of dimensions 2, 3, as extending and lengthening, in order to find new incomplete PG-MDS codes have been used over . Also, two complete PG-MDS codes over of length and 28 have been found.

Sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA ada dua yaitu sikap positif dan negatif. Sikap positif ditandai dengan siswa cenderung tekun dalam belajar, sedangkan sikap negatif ditandai dengan siswa tidak bersemangat dalam belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Muaro Jambi. Sikap siswa yang diteliti memiliki indikator: implikasi sosial IPA, sikap terhadap penyelidikan IPA dan keinginan berkarir di bidang IPA. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian survey. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket sikap dan lembar wawancara. Teknik analisis data untuk angket sikap menggunakan statistik deskriptif sedangkan analisis data wawancara menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada indikator pertama, implikasi sosial siswa terhadap IPA termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Pada indikator kedua, sikap terhadap penyelidikan IPA termasuk kedalam kategori cukup baik. Dan pada indikator ketiga, keinginan berkarir di bidang IPA termasuk kedalam kategori baik. Abstract: There are 2 students' attitudes toward natural science subjects, namely positive and negative attitudes. Positive attitudes are characterized by students tend to be diligent in learning, while negative attitudes are characterized by students who are not enthusiastic to learn. The purpose of this research was to know the attitude of the students to science subjects in secondary school Muaro Jambi. The students’ attitudes indicators are social implications of science, attitude to natural science study and career interest in science. The research used survey research. The research instruments are questionnaire and interview sheets. The data analysis techniques used for the questionnaire was descriptive statistics while the interview data analysis using Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the first indicator, ssocial iimplications of natural science, is categorized good. The second indicator, students’ attitude to natural science study, is categorized good enough. The third indicator, students’ career interest to natural science, is categorized good.

This paper investigated analysis of supplementary reading material development using a genre-based approach which is in line with the school curriculum. It employed the procedures: need analysis, supplementary materials development, expert validation, material revision, material testing, and subsequent material revision. The data were collected by using questionnaires, interview, syllabus analysis, and field note. The analysis shows that the supplementary reading materials entitled Reading for Islamic Learners were completely developed. The supplementary reading materials were developed on student’s need and school recommendation, in line with standard competence and basic competence from syllabus. They contain interesting reading passages featuring Islamic messages, delivered through colorful pictures. In addition they have various reading strategies and accompanied by evaluation tools covering: multiple choice and essay.
