The Holy Quran is a central religious text of Islam. Muslims were engaged from an early period in the preservation of the Quran through memorization of it and handwritten materials as well. In its initial stage of existence there were no printing machines so people prepare their copies of the holy book in the form of hand-written form. Due to Muslim's deep attachment to the text of the holy book the tradition of hand-written Mushafs still exists in Muslim societies. In the history of the Sub-continent of Indo-Pak, we find many personalities who wrote or copied the holy Quran in their distinctive style, hafiz Alpuri is one of them. Hafiz Abdul Samad known as Hafiz Alpuri, is buried in the Alpuri village of Shangla district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Hafiz Alpuri has left behind a diwan (Collection) of poetry and a handwritten copy of the Holy Quran. This Mushaf is kept by his descendants. Researchers and Quran lovers from all over Pakistan come to visit it. This research paper consists of an introduction of Hafiz Alpuri and an introductory and analytical review of his manuscripts. Pakistan is an Islamic Ideological country. That is why there are a special numbers of religious schools known as DĪNI MADĀRIS along with the modern sciences institutions called Universities. These two types of educational systems have been discussed by various intellectuals in shape of books, research papers and speeches. The objective of this article is to introduce all these scholarly work after a critical and analytical study. This research was conducted on sixteen different books and eight scholarly research papers. In this article analytical and critical approach was adopted for evaluation of the literature. In light of the above critical study it is founded that a great knowledge base has existed. Results also found that most of the researchers only criticized the religious schools and they have not paid any attention to these religious schools contributions. Eating the ḥalāl food is the most important purpose of Islamic laws. So we have to accuse it in contemporary edible things. But in spite that some time Ḥarām things mix with Ḥalāl food. So therefore, there is a need to search for Sharīʿah laws in such kind of mixture on the base of precaution principle. As for this paper it collects some its applications according to Ḥanfī school of thought comparing to other jurists and Pakistan laws. So after studying this important topic we will be able to avoid the forbidden things in contemporary foods after knowing its rulings according to the jurists and Pakistan laws. Morality and politics have a strong relation. Politics, lacking in the values of Morality, becomes poisonous for the society. Political parties and their leaders exist in all societies of the modern world. Politics has always been integral part of Pakistani Society. Unfortunately it currently lacks the true spirit of Morality. Moral character of political leaders at national level, collectively, is becoming the reason for the moral degeneration of the society. Our political leadership uses the uncivilized language, character assassination and derogatory remarks. These practices are leaving negative effects on the moral attitude of common man, especially on the younger generation. There is a famous saying of Shah Waliullah that "circumstances play important part in the formation of ethics as compare to knowledge". Therefore, the public, especially the youth, imitates the language and character of their leadership. On one hand the contradiction of words and actions and the usage of uncivilized language by the politicians are damaging the democratic values and on the other hand the moral values are being destroyed. That is why it is essential for our national leaders to adopt necessary measures for purifying their ethics and they should present themselves as an ideal character. This paper will highlight those political factors, reasons and motives which play an important role in the moral degeneration of Pakistani society and will also recommend solutions. Faith in the context of religion has a key role in the life of a personIt places a person in a belief system that evolves into a way of life and provides a unique system of logic to explain the phenomena of life around us. Good deeds are the inevitable result of sincere faith, so God constantly emphasizes rewarding those "who have faith and do good". So Aqeedah is the foundation of the religion Islam and it is based upon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of Allah's Messenger ( صلى الله عليه وسلم). scholars of this Ummah used to give great importance to the affair of 'aqeedah by explaining it in their lessons and whenever they had an opportunity. So, they refuted the false beliefs and the deviated thoughts, and they clearly explained how they were counterfeit and baseless. A great Scholar from Pakistan named Allama Ehsan Elahi Zaheer earned his fair share in spreading the correct belief. He studied at various prestigious institutions in Pakistan and abroad. He was also a graduate from the department of Sharia Medina University. He studied under distinguished scholars including Shaykh Al-Albani and Shaykh Ibn Baz. He wrote extensively on many deviant sects such as the Qadianis, Babis, Bahais, Batinis and the Shia. Constitution is the basic code of every state system. There are laws for state administration, discipline and rulers in constitution. There are some privileges for the rulers in the Pakistani constitution. Among the privileges that Pakistani rulers have, laws of exception, protocol and luxury packages or facilities are included. In Pakistani constitution, the rulers also enjoy these privileges and according to the rules and regulation of parliament and senate. Our Constitution does not provide Parliamentarians any specific immunity against criminal actions as has been granted to the President as well as the Prime Minster. The only specific protection enjoyed by a Minister/Prime Minister is for official actions under powers of their office. The right of lessen or amendment in Sharia penalty of the President of Pakistan is not right according to the Islamic Sharia. But he can utilize honorary rights in criminological penalty. The Governor has the authority to dissolve the Provincial Assembly under certain circumstances during the emergency situation. If the ruler uses the option of freedom of opinion with deception, dishonesty and contempt of court then he should also be answerable. Sometimes rulers misuse their privileges and even exceed their powers. Discretionary options of the rulers must be under public interests. Such privilege rules must be amended which reflect inequality between rulers and masses. It is necessary to put the honorary rights of rulers under logic and there must be a law of behold for the unlawful usage of authority, so that the bad utilization of these laws can be prevented. Such reserved rights must be amended which enhance the concept of un-equity between the rulers and public. For the better administration harmony among the public and administration is necessary. The human being has been honored with vice regency on the planet earth by the creator. Such a prestigious position demands for exhibition of moral high grounds by performing a set of important roles, responsibilities and keeping up with the trust. This includes protecting and preserving the natural environment and resources for the greater benefit of the whole human race. The Arabic equivalent for the word Environment is ماحو ل which encompasses everything that exists in the surrounding hence environment does not merely consisted the physical resources around us but also includes moral, cultural, political and socioeconomic circumstances that matter and are no less important with regard to overall environmental situation, because the environment in physical terms is seriously affected if the latter get corrupted. This article moves on discussing the Islāmic stance on the environment, its protection and preservation. It classifies the causes of environmental degradation into two major areas i.e natural causes and man-made causes. The article stresses upon the moral values that can have lasting effects on our environment. It also suggests reformation of moral values by creating awareness about the consequences/ impacts of moral, social evils on the society and the environment at large. There is a great demand for promotion of universally accepted moral values and practices. The article discusses in detail the physical environment and its four basic elements by highlighting the teachings of the Islam. In these days, it is a general perception that Muslims are involved in terrorism due to the sectarian conflicts. Ulama, belonging to the various sects, issue the verdicts of kufr (infidelity) against the followers of the other sects, which causes the assassination of the Muslims at the hands of Muslims. Due to this sectarian conflict western nations blame that it is the teaching of Islam that motivates its followers to become extremist as well as fundamentalist. As a matter of fact Islam provides universal and fundamental principles of life which consists of social justice, equality, lenience and world brotherhood. It also teaches and preaches to care about the rights of minorities. This research paper highlights the real and original face of Islam about religious sectarianism so that the Western conception about Islam can be nullified and we could tell the world that Islam is not a religion of conflicts but a symbol of peace. "Iqbal Study" is a vast field of literature & philosophy and ideology of Allama Mohammad Iqbal is being discussed in all over the world. Generally research & critical articles and books are read but the letters containing "Iqbal Study" are ignored. In this paper, the eleven letters of Professor Jagan Nath Azad (05-12-1918 to 24-07-2004), the Indian expersts of "Iqbal Study" to Dr. Rafi ud Din Hashmi (Birth:1st April 1942), Pakistani Intelectual, are presented. In these letters, letter-writer informs his Iqbalian activities in detailed, expresses his desire to publish his articles and books in Paksitan and seems to fulfil the demands of Dr. Hashmi. Since the evolution of Urdu language it has faced great challenges. Linguists are apprehending the extinction of the most popular language of Indo-Pak region. Effects of Globalization and blitz of modern communication have played a great role in the downfall of spoken and written Urdu Language. Conflicts of Urdu with other languages like Hindi-Urdu in India and Urdu-Bangla in East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh) have also affected its evolution. It is very difficult to use Urdu as medium of instructions in a multilingual society like Pakistan. It is a fact that government could not devise a separate national language policy to bring closer the users of different provincial and regional languages. Despite facing different challenges Urdu has still preserved in its innovation, diversification and beauty of the syntax and philology. Experts agree with the view that education in an alien language may create differences between the elite and masses. Therefore, all children should be taught in their mother tongue or native language. Need to formulate a foresighted theory by government is stressed in this paper to address the linguistic issues and to suggest remedies of these problems. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Blended learning (BL) is a recent trend among many options that can best fit learners' needs, regardless of time and place. This study aimed to discover students' perceptions of BL and the challenges faced by them while using technology. This quantitative study used data gathered from 300 students enrolled in four public universities in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The findings show that students were comfortable with the use of technology, and it has a positive effect on their academic experience. The study also showed that the use of technology encourages peer collaboration. The challenges found include: neither teacher support nor a training programme was provided to the students for the courses which needed to shift from a traditional face to face paradigm to a blended format, a lack of specialised skills in laboratory assistants for the courses with a blended format and a shortage of hi-tech computer laboratories/computer units to run these courses. Therefore, it is recommended that authorities must develop and incorporate a comprehensive mechanism for the effective implementation of BL in the teaching-learning process. Zakat is a religious compulsory levy, imposed on the wealth of Muslim adult by the Almighty. It is one of the fundamental pillars of Islam. Furthermore, in the eyes of Shariah, state has the responsibility to collect Zakat and disburse it under the predefined heads, laid down by the Almighty in the Holy Quran. Therefore, following the State’s governance teaching of Islam, many Muslim countries established a centralized Zakat system. Pakistan response to the issue in 1980 and established the institution of Zakat by introducing and implementing Zakat and Ushr Ordinance-1980, in the country. In Pakistan, the institutional and organizational arrangement of Zakat is designed in such a way that it covered a separate, but interlinked, setup on each government level, from federal to local government. In the prevailing study, an attempt has being made to explore the process of Zakat collection and disbursement in Pakistan. The current research, somehow, also threw light on the Zakat regulations and adaptation in the Zakat system of the country. However, the main focused is given to the Zakat collection and disbursement related activities on federal level. In addition to it, the study covered data, ranging from 1980 to 2014, based on the nature of availability.
