Research centers and universities are no longer the sole source of agricultural knowledge and innovations as most service providers generate and use the information. Although this is a reality, organizing interaction for the benefit of all parties, i.e., applying a pluralistic extension approach, has not had sufficient study to attract decision-makers attention in Egypt. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the impact of including multiple service providers in a virtual community of practice at the village level. This research was conducted on a virtual community of practice in the village of Mit Habib, Belbeis district, Sharkia Governorate, within the national campaign of wheat, 22/2023 season. Out of the 151 participants in the community, the sample represented 40 randomly selected respondents, including 35 farmers, 3 input suppliers, and 2 supply companies' agents/dealers. Data were collected using two telephone questionnaire forms applied during the month of May 2023. The main results showed that the diversity of service providers in virtual communities of practice is welcomed by all participants, and supports free sharing of knowledge, learning by observation, maintaining the timeliness of information needs, and respecting the opinions of others. Categories of service providers in the community of practice followed the categories of the crop supply chain. The extension worker alone (as a knowledge broker) is able to build one virtual communities of practice, or more, to assist him to achieve his daily tasks. Nevertheless, he needs to undergo training specifically related to coordination and management of communities of practice to manipulate cases of disagreement and/or conflict between the groups of participants. This study deals with a new knowledge entity, the knowledge environment, at the International and Arab levels in general, and in the Arab Gulf countries in particular. Something, which has become an inevitable necessity in our current era, as it dictates the creation of a knowledge plan capable of establishing solid foundations for its presence, and manage all aspects of cognitive activities that prevail in this new environment. The current era is also known as the digital age, where highly developed satellites and the global internet are nascent of the modern information revolution. The digital age has impacted all activities and life areas and has become a reality. Moreover, it is inevitable and has a major role in influencing the users, whether this is a positive or negative influence, social networking sites such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram have attracted millions of Internet users. In recent times, it has evolved to become the most widespread and used network among Internet pioneers; especially adolescents and young people who have been liberated from the social reality restrictions category and became more free to express themselves through interaction by means of social networking, which has eventually become the users own culture, views, trends, and has affected their behavior in all aspects. Each technique, with its pros and cons, offers social networking a lot of features and services that can bring significant benefits such as an abundance of information and speed of communicating with others. At the same time can be used for bad purposes such as spreading rumors and extremist ideas, due primarily to the same user, and how his education and upbringing can get him awareness and knowledge of the risk and disadvantages of social networking when he uses it. The research deals with the role of media in community awareness, especially for adolescents and young people, the hazards of using social media, and how to face them. It requires a comprehensive strategy overseen by the concerned authorities in the country, focusing on the moral, religious, social, cultural, economic, political dimensions, science, and security. This paper is concerned with using social media to serve the Holy Quran sciences. It was based on presenting reading for social media that receive wide attention from individuals, given that it is easy to use, it went far from that by being used in different sciences and educational domains. This emerged by using it in teaching the rules of reciting the Holy Quran as one of its most important sciences. The lessons of the rules of recitation that were posted on Facebook are characterized by diversity and universality, and any user can benefit from them and grasp the content. For reason that it changed the traditional function of teaching the Holy Quran. The teaching process became a participatory one, where all the users can contribute and exchange information, in order to reach a mutual understanding of what is published from the lessons. The aims of the current research is to identify the degree to which mathematics teachers practice social networking skills, as the researchers adopted the descriptive approach to their research, and to verify this, a questionnaire was prepared and applied to a sample of (300) mathematics teachers in Baghdad Governorate / Al-Rusafa Secondary Education during the second semester of the year 2021 / 2022 AD, where only (170) of them were adopted, whereas the rest were neglected because they are not suitable for statistical analysis. The results showed that the teachers practice of the social networking skills were low for some aspects, furthermore the absence of a statistically significant difference between the average responses of teachers on the questionnaire. In light of these results, the researchers presented recommendations and suggestions, conducting more studies on the use of social media among teachers, Engaging the role of social networks in schools to increase the awareness of teachers and learners of its importance, and providing an Internet network in schools. The present study sought to investigate social network rumors and their function in affecting a citizen's desire to get vaccinated with the Corona Vaccine, as well as to evaluate the social networks that are most commonly utilized in disseminating rumors regarding the Corona Vaccine. Furthermore, this study looked at the vaccinations that were most influenced by the misinformation. The current study involved 400 individuals via internet questionnaires. The survey revealed that the majority of respondents (95.2 %) believe that rumors circulate on social networks and that the degree of diffusion of these rumors is considerable (66.8 %). While other social networks were significantly affected, Facebook had the most at (68.9 %). According to the study, periods when rumors propagate on social media are when diseases and epidemics spread. It was discovered that the purpose of disseminating rumors about the vaccination on social media was to instill fear in residents and lead to a misunderstanding of the genuine scientific truth. According to the study, the most rumored vaccination via social networks was AstraZeneca at (65.1 %). The most widely circulated rumor regarding the vaccine on social networks was that it “causes sterility”. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Since the end of the Cold War, the concept of power has witnessed several changes in international relations. It is possible to distinguish between two levels of change in the concept of power: a level specific to the actor who possesses power, especially with non-state actors possessing some sources of power and influence, and a level specific to the components of power and the various forms that force takes. The state is no longer the only active entity in international relations, but several other international actors have emerged that play a vital role in the international arena. As social media has a strategic role in international political interactions, it can be considered one of the non-state actors that can influence the developments of regional and global events. This study clarifies social media's repercussions in light of political crises and wars. It attempts to understand the new developments in social media and then develop a future vision for the role of these media in light of crises and wars for the decision-makers. The study has been divided into two sections. The first is the conceptual and theoretical framework of the study, and it includes two questions: what social media are - their types and characteristics - and what political crises and wars are. The second section discusses crises and wars in light of the growing impact of social media, and it includes two questions: the role of social networks in crises and wars and the new information war - the role of social media in the conflict. The study concludes that social media has become one of the most influential factors in shaping the public opinion to pressure decision-makers and creating the operational environment, suggesting civil and military response measures. The study also indicates that terrorist entities use social media for recruitment, providing training tools and resources, raising money, advertising their operations, and shaping the public perception of the ongoing hostilities. In addition, social media is a fertile environment for the rapid spread and circulation of rumors. The study recommends the need to stop harmful disinformation campaigns on social media by establishing effective control and strict guidelines for data management, in addition to the need for citizens to improve their ability to withstand misinformation. This study aims to explore the most significant motives and institutional advantages driving public relations practitioners in Jordan to use social media networks to perform public relations tasks and activities. It also aims to identify the most substantial challenges that the organizations face while using social media. The researcher follows the survey research methodology to collect the required data from an available sample of (101) practitioners representing both public and private organizations. The study revealed a set of findings, the most significant of which are: - Jordanian PR practitioners use social media more frequently to perform public relations tasks. - "WhatsApp" is the most frequently used social media tool by practitioners, followed by "Facebook" and then "YouTube". - Feasibility of social media, their low cost and their potentialities to present the products and services of the organization and enhance public loyalty are the most significant reasons driving PR practitioners to use social media. - Social media have enhanced interactivity and created two-way communication channels between an organization and its publics; they also have enhanced the organizations' ability to continuously receive feedbacks from their publics and created opportunities for a two-way communication between the organizations and their publics. - The most substantial challenges to using social media to perform public relations activities are the lack of adequate training, the limited number of qualified practitioners who use social media and the weak technological and technical capacities required to use social media in public relations. The study aims to analyze the public attitudes regarding media coverage of the Coronavirus crisis. It compares the roles of traditional media and social networks in that regard. It seeks to identify to what extent the traditional media and social networks have succeeded in providing the public with accurate, and reliable information related to the Coronavirus. It also seeks to analyze the public’s attitudes toward traditional media and social networks’ coverage of this crisis. A survey has been conducted with a sample of 286 locals and residents in the UAE. The study revealed that the traditional media and social networks have shown an interest in covering the information regarding the virus crisis. Both covered issues related to symptoms of the virus and ways of prevention. However, both focused on the informative role more than enhancing the public’s awareness of the virus information. The study also found that the public relied more on social media than the traditional media to obtain information about the Coronavirus. However, the inaccuracy and unreliability of social media information could lead to misguiding the public to the ways of dealing with the virus. The study aimed to find out the extent of Egyptian youth dependence and using of social media networks and their role in educating them about the dangers of the emerging corona virus, and to what extent this had an impact on the awareness, knowledge and attitudes of Egyptian youth towards the emerging corona virus, and to identify the youth's attitudes towards the active parties, based on an available deliberate sample of about 400 persons, only from Egyptian youth aged between 18 to 35 years old, and the form was distributed electronically in the period from 1/12/2020 until 1/2/2021 . The results of the study revealed that the study sample was highly affected by the information provided on the pandemic through social media, and the rate of youth’s use of social networks increased and considered them the main source of information about the pandemic. The results also revealed the increasing follow-up of young people to official news about the pandemic through their pages on social media. The official videos are followed by the doctors’ pages and tweets about the pandemic, then the pages of the World Health Organization, and the trends of the study sample were positive towards the active parties who are in the face of Corona, where the civil society institutions came in the first place, then the government actions. Les média sociaux revêtent aujourd’hui une place importante dans le quotidien de chacun. Ces outils du Web 2.0 conçus à l’origine pour garder le contact avec les amis et la famille, offrent aujourd’hui des opportunités réelles aux étudiants afin de participer à leur propre formation a travers l’apprentissage indépendant. Ils se sont tellement accrus dans l’environnement universitaire qu’ils ont provoqué des transformations dans le dispositif enseignement/ apprentissage. Ces transformations ont permis aux étudiants de s’engager dans un apprentissage enrichi par le partage et la collaboration. Cette étude vise à présenter les enjeux de l’utilisation des Média sociaux par les étudiants Algériens. Pour ce faire nous avons mené une enquête auprès de 140 étudiants de Master en bibliothéconomie à l’université de Constantine2 (Algérie). Les données recueillies par le questionnaire ont été analysées avec le tableur Microsoft office (MS) Excel pour calculer les occurrences et pourcentages. Les résultats ont démontré que les sujets interrogés utilisent ces outils pour des raisons et des activités diverses.

New Media plays a fundamental role in organizations and society. The basic fact justifies the information revolution that has been taking place across the globe in recent time. This research examines the extent of usage among Sharjah University and how this has affected their performance & their achievement. Social media is indeed a powerful tool for academics- students. The New Media has been shown to influence the academic performance & achievement of students at the tertiary level. The influence of the New Media on academic performance as shown in available literature has shown that it could be positive and/or negative. Also this study is trying to identify a new form of media web used by students, and to compare these with the academic performance. In the conclusion, the Social Networking is the main actor which constructs specific concepts relating to culture and identity. Most of the time, universities students used the famous media such as the social networking (Instagram, Whatsapp, Snapchat, and Twitter). The study seeks to observe and analyze the role of the university professors in forming the youth awareness of the electronic extremism and terrorism dangers ; their real and virtual tools they depend, their mechanism of persuasion they rely on to form the youth`s cognitive awareness of these dangers. The study is classified in descriptive studies use survey and comparative approach; depend on the questionnaire tool applied on 100 sample of university professors from different faculties. The study concluded a set of results; the most important ones: the recruitment of the university professors to the network sites as an awareness tool of the extremism and terrorism dangers is still limited and the largest percentage of them realize the great role of the social media in spreading extremism and terrorism; the international groups such as “ISIS “and “Al Quaada “are the most users and recruiters of these sites. One of the most dominant dangers is recruiting the less conscious students in the Lone Wolves Operations due to the weak religious culture and uneducated youth`s mind on criticizing and analyzing . The professors see reliance on rational dialogue to convince students of the electronic terrorism dangers; the great necessity of adding the method of “the critical thinking “to the package of courses related to the university requirements. The results showed the existence of statistically significant differences between the university professors degree of interest towards discuss the radical thoughts among students via social media according to the scientific specialization; the more the professors belonged to the disciplines of social, human-science and languages, the more it supports their orientation towards discussion. Finally, the study proved the statistically significant relationship existence between the rates of professors use social media networks and the type of strategies used to convince students of the electronic terrorism dangers. This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the respondents' use of social media in social accountability in three key issues: Improving services, detecting corruption issues and empowering the marginalized in society by applying the survey on (200) social networking users, as well as interviewing a number of administrators of social accountability pages and groups via social networking site (Facebook). Results of the study Showed a negative correlation between the use of Facebook in the social accountability, improving the services and detecting corrupt in issues at the significance points (01,), and (05,), Respectively, there was a negative and statistically non-controversial link between using Facebook as social accountability and empowerment of the marginalized individuals in community from the perspective of the respondents Results on Twitter’s effectiveness in social accountability has revealed a statistically positive correlation between Twitter’s uses for social accountability, improved services, and empowering the marginalized. Meanwhile a statistically negative correlation between using Twitter for social accountability and the disclosure of corruption issues in society from the perspective of the respondents. Results also showed significant differences among respondents in their appreciation of how far the contribution of the number of complaints (social accountability) through social networking sites in improving the services provided to citizens in Egyptian society, uncover corruption issues, and empower marginalized groups, according to how they get respond to their complaints, as those who got response for their concerns adopt a positive attitude toward social accountability through social media sites [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A case study on Toyota UAE by monitoring the company's recruitment of the social networking platform "Facebook" in managing its relations with the Customers as one of the most modern means of communication which make Of clients are a key partner of the organization through its contributions to social networking platforms. The study is based on the survey methodology by monitoring, analyzing and describing how the social networking platform "Facebook" was used by Toyota as a tool to manage customer relations, in order to answer the study questions. The survey methodology was based on qualitative analysis, Analyzed the content of Toyota's official page from the beginning of September 2017 to December 2017. The researcher analyzed the following categories: communication strategies used, subjects, types of tools used to display content, forms of participation and interaction of the public, Quantitative registration of the content of the above categories during the same period, which is all the means to manage the relationship with customers. The results of the study indicated that: • The variety of content provided on the official page of Toyota UAE on Facebook include information, congratulations on various events, exhibitions and conferences, competitions and community participation. • The content presentation tools offered by Toyota to its customers across its official Facebook page varied between text accompanying images, text accompanying videos, images and links. • The company's use a different communications strategies to manage its relations with customers through its official account on Facebook. The most prominent strategies were advertising strategy, media strategy, brand strategy, effective participation strategy and others. • The nature of public participation on the official page of Toyota UAE on Facebook by admiring the content submitted, comment on the provider, the participation of content submitted, and watching videos. • Toyota has relied on the Facebook page to manage its relationships with its customers more than other means of communication, and was able to employ all the interactive capabilities found on other pages.
