The genus Promalactis Meyrick, 1908 is recorded for the first time from Laos in mainland Southeast Asia and four new species are described: P. crassa sp. nov., P. retusa sp. nov., P. senispina sp. nov., and P. uniclavata sp. nov. Additionally, seven species are newly reported from the country: P. albisquama Kim & Park, P. apicisetifera Du & Wang, P. bitrigona Kim & Park, P. zolotuhini Lvovsky, P. parasuzukiella Wang, P. suzukiella (Matsumura), and P. spiraliola Kim. Distributional data and diagnoses and/or descriptions for all species in Laos are provided, along with illustrations of adults and genitalia.

Two species of Lecithoceridae (Lepidoptera, Gelechioidea), Caveana senuri sp. n. and Lecithocera dondavisi sp. n., are described from Taiwan. The monotypic Caveana Park was described from Thailand, based on C. diemseoki Park, 2011. Lecithocera Herrich-Schäffer, 1853 is the most diverse genus of the family, comprising more than 300 species worldwide. L. dondavisi sp. n. is the largest species of the genus so far, and closely resembles the Indian species, L. praeses Meyrick, 1919. A revised check list of the family in Taiwan is provided.

A new species of the genus Synersaga Gozmány, S. mondulkiriensis sp. n., is described from Cambodia. The genus is diagnosed, and a global catalogue for the genus is provided.

Five new spider species of the genus Pholcus Walckenaer, 1805, P. duryun sp. nov., P. hwaam sp. nov., P. mohang sp. nov., P. worak sp. nov., and P. yangpyeong sp. nov., belonging to the P. phungiformes group in the family Pholcidae C. L. Koch, 1850, are newly described from South Korea. These new species were collected from mixed forests in mountainous, hilly, and coastal terrains. This study provides the diagnoses, detailed descriptions, distribution maps, and taxonomic photographs of these new species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
