The East Palaearctic species of the adeliine genus Paradelius De Saeger, 1942 are reviewed. The genus Sculptomyriola Belokobylskij, 1988 is synonymised with Paradelius and treated as its subgenus. The following species are transferred to subgenus Paradelius (Sculptomyriola): P. (Sc.) extremiorientalis (Belokobylskij, 1988), comb. nov.; P. (Sc.) ghilarovi (Belokobylskij, 1988), comb. nov.; P. (Sc.) neotropicalis Shimbori & Shaw, 2019; P. (Sc.) nigrus Whitfield, 1988; P. (Sc.) rubrus Whitfield, 1988; P. (Sc.) sinevi (Belokobylskij, 1998), comb. nov. A new species Paradelius (Sculptomyriola) koreanus sp. nov. from Korean Peninsula is described. The genus Sinadelius He & Chen, 2000 is synonymised with Paradelius De Saeger and also treated as its subgenus. The species Sinadelius guangxiensis He & Chen, 2000 and S. nigricans He & Chen, 2000 are transferred to Paradelius (Sinadelius) (comb. nov.). A key for determination of the World known Paradelius species from three its subgenera, Paradelius s.str., Sculptomyriola Belokobylskij and Sinadelius He & Chen, and illustrated redescriptions of the type of genus and its Asian species are provided.

Four new species of Venturia Schrottky, 1902 (Hymenoptera, Ichneumonidae, Campopleginae) from Oriental China and Nepal are described (V. contiguus sp. nov. and V. yunnanensis sp. nov. from China; V. liuae sp. nov. and V. levocarinata sp. nov. from Nepal). In addition, two species are reported from China (V. serpentina Maheshwary, 1977 and V. inclyta (Morley, 1923)) for the first time and all listed species are illustrated. A key to all species from China and Nepal is provided.

A new genus, Parallobracon gen. nov., of the subfamily Braconinae (Hymenoptera, Braconidae) is described to include Parallobracon prolatus sp. nov. Eight genera Chaoilta Cameron, Cyanopterus Haliday, Gammabracon Quicke, Ischnobracon Baltazar, Monilobracon Quicke, Pseudospinaria Enderlein, Vipiomorpha Tobias, and Zaglyptogastra Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) are newly recorded from China, their 21 species are revised, and 13 new species (Chaoilta breviceps sp. nov., Cyanopterus (Ipobracon) lucidus sp. nov., Cyanopterus (Ipobracon) transversus sp. nov., Gammabracon uniformis sp. nov., Gammabracon wangi sp. nov., Ischnobracon guttatus sp. nov., Monilobracon longitudinalis sp. nov., Monilobracon marginatus sp. nov., Parallobracon prolatus sp. nov., Vipiomorpha sulcata sp. nov., Vipiomorpha yunnanensis sp. nov., Zaglyptogastra exilis sp. nov., and Zaglyptogastra tricolor sp. nov.) are described and illustrated. Bracomorpha Papp, 1971, is included as subgenus in Cyanopterus Haliday, 1835 (syn. nov.) and Cyanopterus ninghais Wang, Chen, Wu et He, 2009, is a new combination. Keys to the Chinese species of the genera Chaoilta, Cyanopterus, Gammabracon, Ischnobracon, Monilobracon, Vipiomorpha, and Zaglyptogastra are provided.

The Scoliidae occur predominantly in tropical and subtropical regions and are ectoparasitoids of Scarabaeoidea larvae (especially of Melolonthinae) which are immobilised, parasitised by the female wasp in their terrestrial larval gallery and buried deeper in a special cell by the female wasp. Herein, we provided, for the first time, illustrated keys to 11 genera and 52 species of Scoliidae from China, based on specimens in the Naturalis Biodiversity Center (RMNH, Leiden) and additional specimens from the Chinese Academy of Insect Science (Beijing), Zhejiang University (ZJUH, Hangzhou) and Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU, Guangzhou) and it is a first attempt to make keys available for all the Scoliidae species in China.

Two genera, Areopraon Mackauer, 1959 and Pseudopraon Starý, 1975, are newly recorded from China in this paper. Two new species, namely A. chui Tian & Chen, sp. n. and P. hei Tian & Chen, sp. n., are described and illustrated. Keys to the known species of these two genera are provided.

The genus Stantonia Ashmead, 1904 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Orgilinae) is reviewed for Vietnam, China, Japan, and Russia. Six new species of the genus Stantonia are described and illustrated: Stantonia brevicaudata van Achterberg, sp. n., S. dickyyui van Achterberg & Long, sp. n., S. granulata Long & van Achterberg, sp. n., S. robustifemur van Achterberg & Long, sp. n., S. stilpnosoma Long & van Achterberg, sp. n., and S. vietnamica van Achterberg, sp. n. A new subgenus (Planitonia subg. n.: type species Stantonia robustifemur van Achterberg & Long, sp. n.) is proposed for the species with a flat clypeus and face, and reduced vein r-m of the fore wing. Three species are newly recorded from Vietnam: Stantonia gracilis van Achterberg, 1987, S. sumatrana Enderlein, 1908, and S. tianmushana Chen, He & Ma, 2004. A key to species of Stantonia from Vietnam, China, Russia, and Japan is provided.

An illustrated key to the genera and subgenera of the Alysiini (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae) from China is presented. Three genera new for China are reported: Adelurola Strand, 1924, Anisocyrta Foerster, 1863, and Pentapleura Foerster, 1863. The total for China is 26 genera of Alysiini and an additional seven subgenera (excluding the nominal subgenera, which are included in the total of genera). The known Chinese species are listed under each genus and the biology is summarised. Separatatus sinicus (Zheng, Chen & Yang, 2012) and Grammospila eurys (Chen & Wu, 1994) are new combinations. Regetus Papp, 1999, and Adelphenaldis Fischer, 2003, are new synonyms of Eusynaldis Zaykov & Fischer, 1982. In addition, Eusynaldis Zaykov & Fischer and Synaldis Foerster, 1863, are treated as subgenera of Aspilota Foerster, 1863, and Dinotrema Foerster, 1863, respectively. An aberrant species of Separatatus Chen & Wu, 1994, S. parallelus sp. n., is described from Yunnan and Hainan.

The species of Braunsia Kriechbaumer, 1894 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Doryctinae) from China are revised and ten species are recognized. Two new species, B. guangdongensis sp. n. and B. shenyangensis sp. n., are described and illustrated. B. fumipennis (Cameron, 1899), B. pilosa Belokobylskij, 1986, B. postfurcalis Watanabe, 1937, and B. smithii (Dalla Torre, 1898), are recorded from China for the first time. A key to the Chinese species of the genus Braunsia is provided.

A new genus is split off the genus Craspedolcus Enderlein, 1920 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Braconinae): Maculibracon gen. n. with type species Maculibracon abruptus sp. n. The genus Craspedolcus Enderlein sensu stricto is redefined, a key to both genera and to their species in China, Thailand and Vietnam is included. Craspedolcus obscuriventris Enderlein, 1920, (syn. n.) is a new synonym of C. vagatus (Smith, 1858), as Ipobracon maculicosta Enderlein, 1920 and Iphiaulax bhotanensis Cameron, 1907 of Maculibracon simlaensis (Cameron, 1899), comb. n. The genus Craspedolcus is recorded from China for the first time with two species: Craspedolcus fraternus Enderlein, 1920, and C. politus sp. n. The genus Maculibracon is represented by three species in China: M. simlaensis (Cameron, 1899), comb. n. (also present in Vietnam), M. hei sp. n. and M. luteonervis sp. n. and a fourth species is described from Thailand: M. abruptus sp. n. Hybogaster zebripterae Wang & Chen, 2008, from China (Fujian) is transferred to Iphiaulax Foerster, 1863, (comb. n.) and the following names are new combinations in Maculibracon gen. n.: Bracon lepcha Cameron, 1899; B. phaedo Cameron, 1899; B. simlaensis Cameron, 1899; Iphiaulax bhotanensis Cameron, 1907; I. laertius Cameron, 1903; I. leptopterus Cameron, 1903; I. lineaticarinatus Cameron, 1907; Ipobracon lissotomus Roman, 1914; I. maculicosta Enderlein, 1920 and I. pallidicornis Roman, 1914. Craspedolcus montezuma (Cameron, 1887) is provisionally transferred to the genus Digonogastra Viereck, 1912.

The East Palaearctic and North Oriental species of the genus Psyttalia Walker (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Opiinae) are reviewed. Three new species are described and illustrated: P. latinervis Wu & van Achterberg, sp. n. and P. majocellata Wu & van Achterberg, sp. n. from China, and P. spectabilis van Achterberg, sp. n. from Japan. Coeloreuteus formosanus Watanabe, 1934, Opius (Lissosema) proclivis Papp, 1981, O. (Psyttalia) subcyclogaster Tobias, 1998, O. (P.) darasunicus Tobias, 1998, O. (P.) cyclogastroides Tobias, 1998, Psyttalia extensa Weng & Chen, 2001, and Rhogadopsis longicaudifera Li & van Achterberg, 2013, are new synonyms of Psyttalia cyclogaster (Thomson, 1895); Opius (Psyttalia) ophthalmicus Tobias, 1977, and O. (P.) brevitemporalis Tobias, 1998, of Psyttalia carinata (Thomson, 1895) and both O. (P.) vacuus Tobias, 1998, and O. (Lissosema) longurius Chen & Weng, 1995, of Rhogadopsis mediocarinata (Fischer, 1963). Phaedrotoma daghestanicum (Telenga, 1950), Rhogadopsis mediocarinata (Fischer, 1963) and R. mystica (Fischer, 1963) are new combinations. New records are Psyttalia carinata (Thomson, 1895) from The Netherlands and Norway, and P. cyclogaster (Thomson, 1895) from Japan. A lectotype is designated for Psyttalia carinata (Thomson, 1895) and P. cyclogaster (Thomson, 1895). A key to the East Palaearctic and North Oriental species of the genus Psyttalia Walker is included.

The genus Trachionus Haliday, 1833 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Alysiinae, Dacnusini) is reported for the first time from China. The genus is represented by four new species from Shaanxi province (NW China), which are described and illustrated. An identification key to the species in China is presented, a key to the genera of the Trachionus group and notes on the relationships with other Palaearctic species are added.

Twenty two species of the paper wasp genus Ropalidia Guérin-Méneville, 1831, are listed from China. Among them, R. malaisei van der Vecht, 1962, R. cyathiformis (Fabricius, 1804), R. santoshae Das & Gupta, 1989, R. scitula (Bingham, 1897), R. obscura Gusenleitner, 1996 and R. ornaticeps (Cameron, 1900) are new records from China. A new species, R. parartifex Tan & van Achterberg, is described. Their diagnostic characteristics are summarized in an illustrated key and 36 colourplates.

The Chinese species of the genus Ontsira Cameron, 1900 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Doryctinae) are reviewed. Eleven species are recognized, of which four new species are described from China and South Korea: O. abbreviata sp. n., O. henana sp. n., O. robusta sp. n., and O. rugivertex sp. n. Two species, O.ignea (Ratzeburg) and O. neantica Belokobylskij et Maetô, are recorded in China for the first time. A key to the Asian species of the genus Ontsira is provided.

An illustrated key is provided for the identification of 35 genera of Thripinae (Thysanoptera: Thripidae) from Iran with comments for each genus. Chirothrips maximi Ananthakrishnan and Limothrips cerealium Haliday are recorded from Iran for the first time. A checklist is provided of Thripinae recorded from this country.

The species of the genus Brulleia Szépligeti, 1904 (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Helconinae) from China are revised. Four new species, namely B. fanjingensis Yan and Chen, sp. n., B. longipalpis Yan and Chen, sp. n., B. noncarinata Yan and Chen, sp. n. and B. punctata Yan and Chen, sp. n. are described and illustrated. A key to the Chinese species of the genus Brulleia is included.

The genus Diolcogaster Ashmead, 1900 (Hymenopteran, Braconidae, Microgastrinae) from China is revised and keyed, with nine new species, namely D. bifurcifossa sp. n., D. brevivena sp. n., D. grammata sp. n., D. ineminens sp. n., D. laetimedia sp. n., D. pluriminitida sp. n., D. praritas sp. n., D. punctatiscutum sp. n. and D. translucida sp. n. described and illustrated, and one species, D. perniciosa (Wilkinson, 1929) recorded for the first time from China. A key to the Chinese species of this genus is provided.

The genus Deuterixys Mason, 1981 of the tribe Cotesiini (Hymenopteran, Braconidae, Microgastrinae) is recorded from China for the first time. Two new species, D. bifossalis Zeng & Chen, sp. n. and D. curticalcar Zeng & Chen, sp. n., are described and illustrated, and a key to the Old World species of Deuterixys is given. Meanwhile, two species Wilkinsonellus paramplus Long & van Achterberg, 2003 and W. tomi Austin & Dangerfield, 1992 of the genus Wilkinsonellus Mason, 1981 are recorded from China for the first time and illustrated.

The genus Arhaconotus Belokobylskij (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Doryctinae) is recorded for the first time from China. A new species of this genus, Arhaconotus hainanensis Tang & Chen, sp. n., is described and illustrated. A key to the species of this genus is updated to include the new species.

The rare genus Blacometeorus Tobias, 1976 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Blacinae)is discovered in Yunnan, China, and a new species, Blacometeorus sinicus Chai & Chen, sp. n. is described and illustrated. It represents the first record of this genus both for China and Oriental region. A key to genus Blacometeorus is updated.

Two genera, namely Dolabraulax Quicke and Scutibracon Quicke of Braconinae (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) from China are studied for the first time, and four new species, namely Dolabraulax jigongshanus Wang & Chen, sp. n., Dolabraulax flavus Wang & Chen, sp. n., Dolabraulax brevivena Wang & Chen, sp. n. and Scutibracon fujianensis Wang & Chen, sp. n. are fully described and illustrated. The examined specimens are deposited in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China (ZJUH).

The species of the genus Atanycolus Foerster (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Braconinae) from China are revised and six species are recognized, including one new species (A. grandis Wang & Chen, sp. n.), which is described and illustrated in this paper. Three species, i.e. A. crenulatus Telenga, 1936, A. lindemani Tobias, 1980 and A. sculpturatus (Thomson, 1892), are reported from China for the first time. A key to species of this genus is provided.

The genus Eodendrus Belokobylskij (Hymenoptera: Braconidae, Doryctinae) from China is revised. Three species are recognized, of which a new species, E. reticulatus Wang & Chen, sp. n., is described and illustrated, and Eodendrus hoabinicus Belokobylskij & Long, 2005 recorded in China for the first time. A key to the species of this genus is updated to include the new species. The type specimens are kept in the Parasitic Hymenoptera Collection, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou (ZJUH).
