Aurivillius's work entitled "Neue oder wenig bekannte ColeopteraLongicornia" was published in parts over a period of over four decades. There were two page numbers on most pages of these publications, one ordered by Aurivillius, the other by the journal. Historically, different authors have used different page numbers, and sometimes different years for these publications, which has caused chaos in the citations. Herein, accurate dates of publications for this work, and correct page numbers that should be used are provided and discussed., (Mei-Ying Lin, Si-Qin Ge.)

The family Jacobsoniidae Heller () is newly recorded from China upon the discovery of Sarothriassinicus Bi & Chen, sp. n. () from Motuo, Southeast Xizang. Description and illustrations of the habitus and major diagnostic features of the new taxon are provided. A key to the species of Sarothrias and some ecological notes on the new species are presented.

The genus Microcriodes Breuning is newly recorded from China upon the discovery of M. sikkimensis Breuning, 1943 and M. wuchaoi sp. n. from Motuo, Southeast Xizang. Illustrations of the habitus, genitalia including non-everted endophallus, as well as diagnostic features are provided.

A new species, Distenia orientalis sp. n. is described from Southeastern China. It was misidentified as Distenia gracilis (Blessig, 1872) but can be separated from the latter by the color of antennae and legs, structure differences on scape, maxillary palp, pronotum, tibiae, punctures on elytra, etc. Three related species are carefully diagnosed and treated.

One new species, Schwarzerium yunnanum sp. n. is described from Yunnan Province, China. And a new subgenus Rugosochroma subgen. n. is erected for it. Additionally, Seven species of the tribe Callichromatini are newly recorded from China: Aphrodisium niisatoi Vives & Bentanachs, 2007, Aphrodisium tricoloripes Pic, 1925, Chelidonium violaceimembris Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 (new from Vietnam too), Chloridolum grossepunctatum Gressitt & Rondon, 1970 (new from Vietnam too), Chloridolum semipunctatum Gressit & Rondon 1970, Embrikstrandia vivesi Bentanachs, 2005 and Laosaphrodisium subplicatum (Pic, 1937).
