Software component library is the essential part of reusc-based software development. It is shown that making use of a single component library to store all kinds of components and from which components are searched is very inefficient. We construct multi libraries to support software reuse and use PVM as development environments to imitate large scale computer, which is expected to fulfill distributed storage and parallel search of components efficiently and improve soft ware reuse.

This paper discusses design and implementation method of Business Application Framework based on software patterns, and then presents MVC pattern, of architecture and the method of dynamical update promulgation for Business Application Framework. We discuss adaptation of Abstract Factory for the kernel functionality of Business Application Framework, such as data creation, manipulation, composition, etc. It also presents class model and its class structure of Abstract Factory pattern. Finally, we briefly discuss the update, modification, and reconstruction method of Business Application Framework.

We discuss the evolution of object-oriented software development process based on software pattern. For developing mature software framework and component, we advocate the elicit and incorporate, soft-ware patterns for ensuing quality and reusability of software frameworks. On the analysis base of requirement specification for business application domain, we present analysis method and basic role model of software framework. We also elicit analysis pattern of framework architecture, and design basic role classes and their structure.

The key ingredient for promoting software reuse in a repository-base integrated development environment, is to provide support for the software developer who wants to search the repository to locate and retrieve suitable software components for reuse. This paper presents that reusable software components form a base to provide a flexible representation of component adaptability to any repository with a specific classification. As an alternative, it proposes to automatically identify and convert the component source code with all its information into a standard form, so that components can be transferred from one type of library to another.

This paper deals with the goals and visions of a consortium in Japan, named Consortium for Business Object Promotion (CBOP), discussing its background, activities, and basic technical approaches to share and exchanging various types of Business Objects. Especially, Object Pattern Technologies used in CBOP should be discussed.
