There is a clear need for Teaming With Wildlife (TWW) and the programmes and funding this initiative will provide, but questions must be raised about whether it is really necessary to turn to the oil and gas sector as a source of funding for wildlife management. It is important to consider refusing to support the Reinvestment and Environmental Restoration Act 1998 and continuing to promote the original TWW initiative. This would make politicians aware that they must be accountable to their constituents.
