The Gravity model shows theoretical justification of intra- regional trade annd applies the generalized gravity model to analyses the India and BIMSTEC trade with its major trading partners. The empirical findings suggest that India and BIMSTEC has positively associated with both intra-regional trades. In the health care sector predictive analytics is always a need but right now in times of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic it became a necessity. During the early surge of the COVID-19, around the world many hospitals are facing problems to predict the exact number of required ventilators and bed capacity especially in countries like India where mostly government healthcare units are in poor shape. Various models were implemented based on the technologies available but in regions with large populations these models are not appropriate and are unable to give accurate predictions. This paper discusses a predictive analytical model which can be used to facilitate hospital's prediction power in determining the ventilator requirements for COVID-19 patients, using the provided data from hospitals. This paper aims on the implementation of a predictive algorithm based on the available data proportion of COVID-19 patients admitted in ICU and hospital for determination of required number of ventilators in advance. The implementation is carried out using a supervised machine learning technique called random forest regression algorithm. Moreover based on the model's prediction and the current supply of ventilators in hospitals, additional demand for ventilators could be prepared in advance for critical patients which may require it at any time. To analyze the major public-sector and private-sector sponsored business mutual funds in India. To attain the objective of the study, various portfolio techniques and statistical tools are applied on a sample size of 18 mutual fund schemes developed by Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, Jensen ration and Beta has been computed. This research is characterized the results on the schemes risk and return relationship of sample mutual fund managed by asset management companies with their benchmark index. The study found that majority of the schemes are not providing significant positive return in terms of relative risk adjusted measures and absolute risk adjusted measures within the study period. COVID-19 is threatening economic globalization. Global production networks are being disrupted on a never-before-seen scale as a result of simultaneous shocks to supply and demand caused by containment measures. The pandemic has highlighted how globally interconnected the flow of goods and services has become vulnerable, and countries are now reframing their international trade strategies to handle economic shocks post pandemic. The drop in FDI will be especially hard on developing countries. FDI inflows to developing countries are expected to fall even more than the global average, given that sectors severely impacted by the pandemic account for a larger share of FDI inflows in developing countries. Also, over the last few decades, developing countries have become more dependent on FDI. Between 1985 and 2017, FDI inflows to developing countries increased from 14 billion to 690 billion US dollars (in current prices). This represents an increase in share of global FDI inflows from 25% to 46%. The rise in FDI to developing countries is being supported by an increase in offshoring and global fragmentation of economic activities, particularly in the manufacturing and services sectors. When a lockdown was declared in India on March 24, 2020 as a preventive measure to avoid the spread of the pandemic, the migrant workers whose livelihood depended upon daily wages lost their jobs, and among these workers were women who were engaged in domestic work with total dependence on the income from their employment in working at households. This research paper throws light on the plight of women who struggled to secure a decent income during the pandemic and consequently faced difficulties in psycho-social fronts. The study followed a sequential explanatory design sampling 15 migrant women domestic workers employed in Bangalore city during the lockdown phase of the pandemic. The results of the study throw light on how the population under study struggles on the economic front, which in turn adversely affects their mental health and quality of life. We explore the psychological, social, and neuro-scientific effects of COVID-19 and set out the immediate priorities and longer-term strategies for mental health science research. These priorities were informed by surveys of the public and an expert panel convened by the India Academy of Medical Sciences and the mental health research charity, MQ: Transforming Mental Health, in the first weeks of the pandemic in the India in March, 2020. We urge India research funding agencies to work with researchers, people with lived experience, and others to establish a high level coordination group to ensure that these research priorities are addressed, and to allow new ones to be identified over time. The need to maintain high-quality research standards is imperative. International collaboration and a global perspective will be beneficial. An immediate priority is collecting high quality data on the mental health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic across the whole population and vulnerable groups, and on brain function, cognition, and mental health of patients with COVID-19.
