The importance of research in education is universally accepted. Driving the past two decades, there have been numerous studies, policy documents highlighting the 'importance of research" which India could reap by improving the research infrastructure in Higher education. The present paper traces the regulatory policy and structure of higher education in India since post-Independence(after 1947) period. A detailed analysis is carried out about the the government emphasis on research front. Passenger drones are currently being developed in some countries to solve the purpose of point-to-point commute. Even though passenger drones have been developed and are developing in some countries, the studies done on designing the interiors have focused on the western audience. Therefore, an in-depth study is required to create cabin interiors for passenger drones, which can suit the country's varied aspects like India. This paper focuses on the user requirements based on a survey of the color, form, and possible future inflight activities conducted for interior design and development for passenger drones. The methodology used was a survey among the potential users. To understand the interaction, color, and form, and map the needs and activities of the passengers in a fully autonomous passenger drone, literature review on proposed activities, future trends of color and form forecast of the transportation industry was studied and used as an input for questionnaire design. An online survey was conducted to gain insights on capturing the futuristic travel experience and activities when inside a fully autonomous cabin. Questions related to the future prediction of automotive trends and possible activities within the cabin were asked. Quantitative data analysis was done after converting the data to a pivot chart. The paper explores and discusses an overview of the future form and color trends and mapping future possible inflight activities in a fully autonomous passenger drone. Public Interest Litigation occupies a prominent space in the Constitutional history of Supreme Court. The aspiration of the court to transform itself from Supreme Court of India to Supreme Court for India and Indians by extending its accessibility, scope and fashioning new remedies for the marginalized and poor has received critical claim and now skepticism. In India, Religion is a contentious issue which when coupled with politics, has been a source of constant discord. The tenuous relationship of state and an individual's religion has been adjudicated by the Supreme Court having a far-reaching effect. The position of Indian Nation State with religion is far more complicated than any other secular democracy in the world. The religious autonomy of an individual and his relationship with his god is categorically recognized by the courts in India. In case of Shayara Bano, a Muslim woman who was divorced through the impugned practice of triple talaq, there was question raised on the justiciability of the remedy being fashioned by the Court in the minority opinion. In the case of Indian Young Lawyers Association & Ors. vs. The State of Kerala & Ors. popularly known as the Sabarimala Case, the Supreme Court, in the name of public interest went on to decide the legality of a centuries old tradition barring women in the menstruating age to enter the temple. Apart from the various issues deliberated by the court, one cardinal issue was pertaining to the locus standi of the petitioner to stand before the court acknowledging the far reaching ramification and implications of the judgment across all places of worship in the country. In the third case of decriminalization of adultery, the petitioner is not an affected person but rather a non-resident Keralite hotelier in Italy.2 The locus of the petitioner has not been discussed by any of the judges or even the name mentioned. The judges straightaway headed into the legality of the provision and declared it unconstitutional unanimously.3 What the court answered was rather an academic question than a legal one.4 This paper aims at analyzing the recent judgments which entered the Court as PIL and adjudication upon the same by secular court. The case analysis also includes an insight on the earlier precedents as to who can approach the court in public interest with respect to the matters pertaining to religion. The first part of the paper is devoted to the origin and evolution of the PIL especially the democratic positioning of the Court in pre and post emergency phase. The second part of the paper is concerned with the cases of PIL for women rights, gender justice and gender equality before Supreme Court till the three cases aforementioned. In India and over the world, Cancer has become a deadly disease that is adversely affecting women from different age groups. According to a survey, one in every 30 women suffers from this deadly disease in their lifetime. This project was first thought of because of the increase in cases of breast cancer and if we can detect it at an early stage then there is an increased chance of it getting cured. This paper lays a foundation in making the detection of cancer automated from histopathological images using deep learning algorithms so that more and more people can get it diagnosed at an early stage and subsequently get cured. To enhance the capability of histopathology image classification, a powerful deep learning algorithm and a sizable, varied dataset are required. In this paper, we have proposed an automatic and precise histopathological image analytical method, to detect breast cancer at an early stage. Deep learning techniques have recently made significant strides and produced outstanding results in the fields of computer vision and image processing, which has encouraged many researchers to use this method for the categorization of histopathology images. In the period of COVID 19 Pandemic like other countries of the world BIMSTEC countries was also initially response to restrict trade, travel and other forms of connectivity. This Paper focuses on socio- economic environment of economic integration on intra- regional trade between India and BIMSTEC countries in the troubled times. The Gravity model shows theoretical justification of intra- regional trade annd applies the generalized gravity model to analyses the India and BIMSTEC trade with its major trading partners. The empirical findings suggest that India and BIMSTEC has positively associated with both intra-regional trades. The diabolical policy approaches and apparatus constructed by colonial state and further reconstructed by post-colonial state under the tactical visions of governmentality and politics of accommodation jeopardised millions of Nomadic and De-notified Tribes NTDNTs. Thus, once located on mainstream of society the NTDNTs are pushed at the bottom of the lowest rungs of socioeconomic and political hierarchy. Against this backdrop, the paper aims to examine the long-troubled trajectory of NTDNTs throwing light on continuities of governmentality and politics of accommodation grounded during colonial-post colonial states methodically captured through (19) select cases of policy approaches and apparatus, respectively. The paper uses life stories of NTDNTs and their envoys voices as prime qualitative method for analyses using hermeneutics tradition. The paper through conceptual lens of governmentality and politics of accommodation concludes that the immensity of NTDNTs subjugation and exclusion instituted by colonial-postcolonial state is the vexing case of world's most elongated hapless victims of 'governmentality and politics of accommodation' beyond the pale of social-accountability. Finally, the paper put-forth unfeigned future policy priorities (FPPs) coupled with integrated model of change actors upon whom the onus lies to ensure NTDNTs re-integration and legitimate possibility of developmental accommodation for a new democratic India. The introduction of FinTech has made the Payment processes, lending processes, the wealth technology, regulations technology and insurance technology more efficient, advanced and error prone. This FinTech ecosystem paved a better way to implement these services. Indian FinTech Industry is the fastest growing in the world, with 67% of the more than 2100 FinTech entities in operations have been set up in the two start-up hub cities of India, Bengaluru and Mumbai. India's 12.50% remains unbanked which encouraged the Indian government to support the inclusion and development of the FinTech Innovations. This research explicates various factors influencing the FinTech adaption and usage of these services. These factors were determined using a questionnaire that was filled by 195 random individuals. On these results, regression tables were drafted, and the significance was determined which has been described throughout the paper. Factor analysis was computed, and the interpretation of this analysis and a result of the interpretation was that the FinTech services are user-friendly and easy to use. This research also highlights some of the FinTech companies of India such as, Paytm, PhonePe, Zest Money and Policy Bazaar along with their general description, trend analysis of their revenue over the years and next five years and employment number. This was stated to accentuate the contribution of these companies towards the growth of the Indian economy, GDP, unemployment crisis, national income and the per capita income. This paper studies media's role in contributing towards a sustainable society. This research paper presents a comprehensive analysis of literature in the context of NPA and its impact on the performance of banks, with specific reference to public sector banks and private sector banks. Given the rise in nonperforming assets (NPAs), it has been surprisingly safe for PSBs to recapitalize, as the government's powerful ownership system has minimized the conflicts of interest that private banks would face. NPAs are a major source of worry for public sector banks, as they must be managed and regulated. NPAs have a negative impact on bank loans because non-recovery of loan payments and interest on the loan account negate the efficacy of the credit dispensation scheme. The non-recovery of loans also harms bank performance. Furthermore, banks with a large degree of NPAs must hold more owned funds as resources, build buffers and provisions, and have a buffer for loan losses. As the Care Leavers do not immediately find the suitable place for shelter, livelihood gets them caught in limbo, which demands the need to have a suitable After-Care framework for Care Leavers that would protect and safeguard their lives. With this information in background, this paper is an attempt to bring the systematic assessment of the housing for Care Leavers in India. Building evidence from the existing research findings and taking International Humanitarian Norms as a guiding framework, this paper advocates for the housing rights for the Care Leavers and will introduce a framework, which could be utilized by relevant stakeholders to provide a holistic intervention. In the health care sector predictive analytics is always a need but right now in times of novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic it became a necessity. During the early surge of the COVID-19, around the world many hospitals are facing problems to predict the exact number of required ventilators and bed capacity especially in countries like India where mostly government healthcare units are in poor shape. Various models were implemented based on the technologies available but in regions with large populations these models are not appropriate and are unable to give accurate predictions. This paper discusses a predictive analytical model which can be used to facilitate hospital's prediction power in determining the ventilator requirements for COVID-19 patients, using the provided data from hospitals. This paper aims on the implementation of a predictive algorithm based on the available data proportion of COVID-19 patients admitted in ICU and hospital for determination of required number of ventilators in advance. The implementation is carried out using a supervised machine learning technique called random forest regression algorithm. Moreover based on the model's prediction and the current supply of ventilators in hospitals, additional demand for ventilators could be prepared in advance for critical patients which may require it at any time. This "paper critically evaluates the design of India's Anti-poverty programmes. In recent years, successive Indian Governments have sought to improve the performance of these programmes by decentralizing their administration, vesting village governments with greater responsibility for their monitoring and oversight. An academic literature hypothesizes that socioeconomic divisions within villages and the weak political strength of the poor reduces the effectiveness of decentralized programmes since, under these conditions, elites are able to 'capture' funds intended for the poor. This paper argues that the effect of administrative decentralization of poverty programmes and local public goods on the magnitude of benefits to the poor depends not just on their political strength but also on the incentives the non-poor have to improve the welfare of the poor. The design of policy pays insufficient attention to such incentive issues. Empirical analysis provides support for this belief. This paper aims to empirically analyse the efficiency of public and private sector banks in India. The paper uses data envelopment analysis to measure and compare the efficiency of banks. Three measures of efficiency viz. total technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency are computed. The paper evaluates and compares the efficiency of public and private sector banks by utilizing the RBI published data set for the period 2015 to 2019. The paper concludes with empirical results that public sector banks are less efficient in terms of total technical efficiency and pure technical efficiency than private sector banks. It is essential to support MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized firms) in India because of their importance to the country's economic growth, job creation, and ability to manufacture globally competitive goods. The majority of women populations are involved in the development of micro-level enterprises. Rural women entrepreneurs have emerged as a comparatively prosperous occurrence and becoming increasingly relevant in India. This paper is based on the West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand state and grounded on the study population's primary and secondary data. The report aims to identify the impact of covid-19 on small entrepreneurs and describe various available income opportunities that can be generated through micro-entrepreneurial activity among rural women. The expected concluding remark of this paper would be suggesting the necessity of micro-entrepreneurship options as an integral part of the source of income among women in the rural scenario. In an economy like India where one of the major concern is poverty unemployment forms the basis. It becomes a more radical concern when graduates get distracted and directionless in the absence of a proper source of income. Government has launched many schemes like STAND UP INDIA, SEED FUNDING, MUDRA, Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) to name a few but then are these youths ready to accept the challenges in making India a global market with their products and ideas. Governmental schemes are available but the hand holding along with the willingness to move ahead with one's idea and ideology needs to be spread. 'Disability' refers to a characteristic (mental or physical) that is regarded as impairment. Associating disability with karma is nothing strange, even in contemporary society. The roots of this notion lie in the mythologies. The ancient cultures often saw disability as a divine punishment for a person's deeds, either in the present or previous births. This belief has survived even to the modern era, and it has led to the mistreatment of the disabled. This paper intends to analyse certain Hindu myths from ancient India to bring out the karmic perception of disability. The study also serves a few glimpses of Greek and Mesopotamian myths to support the statements made. It shows the archetypes of the disabilities born out of karma in the myths above can lead to an ethical society. The present work will study mainly the characters of Ashtavakra, Dhritarashtra, Pandu and Lord Ganesha, to name a few. The requirement to conduct a Language Needs Analysis before framing a syllabus or curriculum is universally accepted in the field of education. Although this practice is suggested and researched widely, most of the time it is not practically applied before or during the process of framing a syllabus. In many cases, learners, language needs may be relatively easy to determine, particularly if the learners need language for specific purposes. But, in other cases, the learners, needs may not be immediate. However, even though the students may not have any immediate perception of needs, curriculum planners will generally have consulted the related stakeholders to find out what level of knowledge of English they expect college graduates to achieve. Needs analysis include the study of perceived and present needs as well as potential and unrecognized needs. This paper will systematically outline the process of conducting a language need analysis of the undergraduate learners of Manipur University (MU) and discuss the findings of the analysis. This paper investigates the present General English (GE) syllabus that claims to be a communicative syllabus of MU which is offered to the first and second-semester students who study in the colleges affiliated to MU. It will be followed up by conducting the needs analysis of the learners to check if the content of the syllabus matches the needs and requirements of the learners of MU. The findings of the needs analysis will show if the language needs of the learners are at par with the syllabus that is being offered to them. 17 colleges affiliated to MU were selected to conduct the study; both from rural and urban areas of Manipur.
