2. Approximation of the transport equation by a weighted particle method

Abstract

We study a particle method for numerically solving a model equation for the neutron transport. We present the method and develop the theoretical convergence analysis. We prove the stability and the convergence of the method in Lāˆž. Some computational test results are given.
