This paper focuses on the application of the genetic algorithm in paper composition, and proposes an improved tactic of arithmetic crossing, which enlarges the searching space of algorithm to a considerable extent, avoiding the defects of the slow convergence of the simple genetic algorithm and regional convergence so that the efficiency and quality of paper composition are raised. This paper presents the overall review of torque ripple reduction techniques in brushless DC motors (BLDC) and different multilevel inverter topologies suitable for BLDC motor drives. BLDC motors are widely used for household applications due to its features of high reliability, simple frame, high efficiency, fast dynamic response, compact size and low maintenance, etc.. The switches are electronically commutated based on the information of rotor position detection. The position of the rotor is determined with the help of the sensor or sensorless techniques. Hence it is an electronically commutated motor. Because of this commutation, the ripples are generated in the electromagnetic torque and the power factor of AC mains gets affected. So, in order to improve the performance of these motors the ripple in the electromagnetic torque could be reduced and the power factor of the AC mains should be increased. With the increasing use of CiteSeer academic search engines, the accuracy of such systems has become more and more important. The paper adopts the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm for training conditional random field model and applies it into the research papers’ title and citation retrieval. The improved particl swarm optimization algorithm brings the particle swarm aggregation to prevent particle swarm from being plunged into local convergence too early, and uses the linear inertia factor and learning factor to update particle rate. It can control algorithm in infinite iteration by the iteration between particle relative position change rate. The results of which using the standard research papers’ heads and references to evaluate the trained conditional random field model shows that compared with traditionally conditional random field model and Hidden Markov Model, the conditional random field model ,optimized and trained by improved particle swarm, has been better ameliorated in the aspect of F1 mean error and word error rate. Deinked pulp flotation column has been applied in wastepaper recycling. Bubble size in deinked pulp flotation column is very important during the flotation process. In this paper, bubble images of deinked pulp flotation column were first caught by digital camera, and then the bubbles were detected by using a detection algorithm based on sparse and redundant image processing. Hammer mills are widely used for material size reduction in food and feed industries. In this paper, a new hammer mill with separate sieving device has been designed and fabricated, in which the so-called material-circulation layer can not be formed and material being ground passes through the sieve by rotor throwing and air blowing without direct rubbing with the sieve. Microbial fuel cell (MFC) mathematical model was established with suspended microorganisms, biomass on the electrode material, soluble chemical substrates and intermediary. By simulating the process of the substrate degradation, biomass growth and the electric current production process, With different initial biomass concentration, suspended microbial biomass and biomass attaching on electrode varing with time,current and charge varing with time,substrate concentration varing with time and mediator concenration varing with time were investigated. Wireless sensor network (WSN) consists of a small size sensor nodes depends on battery power. Applications of sensor networks are street lighting, home automation, industrial plant, environmental parameters, health care and military. Security is becoming a major concept in the design of wireless sensor networks. Attacks on sensor networks include attack on confidentiality, integrity and availability. Lack of confidentiality means that the secret information is revealed to attackers. Lack of integrity means that the attacker modifies the contents (data) communicated in the sensor network. Lack of availability means the resources in the network is not available to authorized users. So to avoid these problems we need better security measures. In this paper we are dealing with intrusion detection. Intrusion detection plays an important role in the design of wireless sensor networks. An intruder can perform various attacks like replay, interception, worm hole, sink hole attacks. So our aim in this paper is to find such intrusions as early as possible, when they occurred and to enhance the life tome of the sensor network. In the present world, modern power system networks, being a complicated combination of generators, transmission lines, transformers, circuit breakers and other devices, are more vulnerable to various types of faults causing stability problems. Among these faults, transient fault is believed to be a major disturbance as it causes large damage to a sound system within a certain period of time. Therefore, the protection against transient faults, better known as transient stability control, is one of the major considerations for the power system engineers. This paper presents the control approach in the transmission line during transient faults by means of Static Synchronous Series Compensator (SSSC) in order to stabilize Single Machine Infinite Bus (SMIB) system. In this paper, SSSC is represented by variable voltage injection associated with the transformer leakage reactance and the voltage source. The comparative results depict that the swing curve of a system increases monotonically after the occurrence of transient faults However, SSSC is effective enough to make it stable after a while. This paper deals with the mitigation of electromechanical wave propagation in power systems. Different conventional controllers addressed this problem, such as the conventional PSS and the conventional fuzzy logic PSS. In this paper, the fuzzy logic PSS is assisted by auxiliary signals from the fuzzy logic PSS of the interconnected machines to augment the damping of electromechanical wave propagation and the associated oscillations. The neighboring machines speed deviation and its derivatives signals are exploited through the fuzzy logic PSS to assist the local fuzzy logic PSS. The disturbance propagation and reflection phenomena are considered in the design of the adopted strategy. This paper deals with the power factor correction in BLDC motor drive with different cuk derived converter topologies and the best one is simulated for power factor correction operation. Power quality issues is the major concern in the BLDC motor drive due to recommended limits of harmonics in the supply current. Conventionally the BLDC motors are powered with the help of diode bridge rectifiers which results in highly distorted supply current and poor power factor. So modification in converter topology is the research hotspot in recent years. Alternatively bridgeless converter topologies are used in place of diode bridge rectifiers (DBR). This paper presents a novel method for estimation of load torque and rotor speed in single-phase Induction Motor (IM) with two asymmetrical windings by using Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). Normally, for estimation of load torque and rotor speed in IM, six state variables namely stator currents, rotor fluxes, rotor speed and load torque, are considered. In this paper an improved back emf detection method is proposed. The motor neutral voltage is elemenated and the phase back emf zero crossing point can be directly extracted by detecting voltage difference between the phase terminal and the midpoint of the dc link. Here filtering circuit is not needed and the BLDC motor is provided with PWM control of 100% duty ratio which is presented in this paper. To perform the inverter commutation, there is a need of six commutation signals which is obtained by sensing only one of the three phase terminals that reduces the cost of the sensing circuit. The reduction of the imbalance in the six commutation signals which are caused by the asymmetrical behavior of the three phase windings in BLDC motor had been reduced in a varied speed range. Secure and reliable opertation of the grid requires real time monitoring and control of entire power system. Phasor measurement units (PMU) are being deployed for real time monitoring and analysis of power system. The most important factor to be considered in placement problem is observability of power system with minimum number of PMUs. This paper proposed an Integer Linear Programming (ILP) based optimization approach to minimize the number of PMUs in the network. The proposed work determines the number of PMUs and its placement, while maximizing the system observability in normal operating condition. Time series data prediction is used in several applications in the area of science and engineering. Time series prediction models have been implemented using statistical approaches, but recently, neural networks are being applied for times series prediction due to their inherent properties and capabilities. A variation of a standard neural network called as finite impulse response (FIR) neural network has proven to be highly successful in achieving higher degree of prediction accuracy when used over various time series prediction applications. These applications are time critical and involve huge amounts of computation that are slower when run on a general purpose processor and hence, a dedicated hardware is required. In this paper, authors present hardware implementation of an FIR neural network for applications in times series data prediction. The implementation is divided into (i) off-board, where the training algorithm and neural network configuration is implemented in Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB) and simulated with various benchmark time series data set and (ii) on-board, where the entire system is modeled in a hardware description language (HDL). The simulation experiment, hardware building blocks, the implementation framework, and the hardware design flow are discussed in this paper. Active contour are now established as a technique for extracting salient contours from an image. A snake is an active contour for representing object contour. Traditional snake algorithms are often used to represent the contour of a single object. A different contour search algorithm is presented in this paper that provides an efficient convergence to the object contours than both the kass et al and greedy snake algorithm (GSA).Our proposed algorithm provides a straightforward approach for snake contour rapid splitting and connection, which usually cannot be gracefully handle by traditional snakes. This algorithm compares with other two conventional approaches is faster according to needed execution time. This paper tells us which one is better by comparing each other. The experimental results of various test sequence images with a single object shown good performance, which proved that the proposed algorithm is faster among those. This paper proposes an online early warning technique and the probability distribution function based icing image recogition for overhead power transmission lines. The main functionality of the online early warning of icing, forest fire,lighting, insulator flashover, conductor gallopiong and invasion which is based on a scheme of the online inspection system for the transmission lines with optical fibre communication technology. As a case study, the early warning of icing is discussed in this paper and a comprehensive icing early warning scheme has been proposed: the local meteorological conditions and mechanical data are applied for the initial criteria of the icing early warning system, and the PDF based image recognition technology is then used to finally decide the icing condition of transmission lines, which can be mor effectively dealt with than complex pictures acquired at towers. Today, with the increase of distributed generation sources in power systems, it’s important to optimal location of these sources. According to reports that had been published in many papers, wind turbines (WTs) fault due to lightning is one of the most difficult challenges. Lightning overvoltage lead to malfunction in the wind farm equipments. Smart Grid is a large complex system, involving generation, transmission, distribution and delivery of four links. In the past decades, processing power has achieved considerable gains. Researchers proposed faster uniprocessors that are capable of improving the instruction level parallelism through out-of-order implementation for increasing the performance quality of the existing network-on-chip (NoC). Although, the reducing returns of the performance of uniprocessor architecture caused multiprocessors to be integrated on a chip. In this paper, we selected a famous popular NoC topology, i.e., mesh, and evaluated it in terms of different figures of merit e.g., latency, power consumption, and power/throughput ratio under different routing algorithms, number of buffer, and hotspot traffic models. We selected two size of NoC, 12×12 and 16×16, as large scale NoC. We investigated all characteristics and measured latency, maximum delay, and total energy by Noxim simulator. In this paper, we demonstrated that when the network size and number of buffer were large, no routing algorithm could contribute to improve network performance. This is because the routing algorithms had the same performance in the large scale NoCs and they could not solve problems alone. Since the magnetizing characteristics are highly non-linear in nature, the torque ripple is high in the Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM). The torque ripple can be minimized by using a novel control technique called Direct Torque Control (DTC). In DTC technique, torque is controlled directly through control of magnitude of the flux-linkage and change in speed of the stator flux vector. The flux and torque are maintained within set hysteresis bands. This paper introduces the design of multichannel acquisition circuit based on FPGA which samples and records the Doppler signals, ignition signal and the working condition of fuze security enforcement agencies of missile fuze in real-time in the test of high speed dynamic intersection. Furthermore, for the problem of increasing number of sample channel which causes the complexity of the multiplexer control, a general programmable channel switching method is proposed based on FPGA. In the method, FPGA is the control core, and using the internal ROM resource effectively simplifies the complexity of channel switch in the multichannel acquisition system. This paper analyzes the acquisition system design, and describes the design of hardware circuit and analog switch address coding in detail. The test result shows that the acquisition circuit meets the design requirements with high sampling precision and application value.

Real-time and accurate short-term traffic flow prediction is the premise and key of intelligent traffic control and guidance system. According to this problem, this paper put forward a prediction model based on multivariable phase space reconstruction and least squares support vector machine (LSSVM). First, the model confirms embedding dimension and delay time of the traffic flow, occupancy and average speed time series by analyzing their chaotic characteristics, and reconstructs multivariable state space. Second, the phase points obtained after reconstruction are as input, and the last traffic flow parameters came from the following phase points are as output. Finally, the LSSVM which be trained is adapted to realize short-term traffic flow prediction. This research compares this model with a model based on univariate phase space reconstruction and LSSVM, and the results show that the model proposed in this paper predicts better.

Automated ground vehicles are being used increasingly in automation of factories for material transmitting or other missions. The navigation of these vehicles is a challenge as the configuration of the environment such as factory changes. The path-planning problem has been shown to be NP-hard, thus this problem is often solved using heuristic optimization methods such as genetic algorithms. In this paper a genetic algorithm for path planning of the mobile robots specifically automated ground vehicles with a basic knowledge about navigation area boundaries and configuration of obstacles. The goal in this paper is to travel the shortest path in minimal time while avoiding obstacles in a navigation environment. It is rich in electric field energy in high voltage substations while it is hardly collected and utilized. A novel energy harvesting device based on spatial electric field is presented in this paper, which is composed of capacitive energy collector and conditioning circuit. A simulation model of the energy collector is established to study the relationship between output voltage and its structural parameters and is verified by no-load tests. There are some restraining factors such as output voltage unstable in the traditional conditioning circuit. A new conditioning circuit is designed to overcome the problems and this new circuit is more effectively. DIVA (Directions into Velocities of Articulators) is a mathematical model of the processes behind speech acquisition and production, supposed to achieve a functional representation of areas in the brain that are involved in speech production and speech perception. Introducing cerebellum control mechanism into the model plays a significant role in improving the mechanism of speech acquisition and production based on DIVA model. The paper studies its learning process, and explores cerebellar contributions to the model, that is feedforward learning, sensory predictions, feedback command production and the timing of delays, and then constructs a cerebellum model that is closer to neuroanatomy and is applied to DIVA model. Simulation results show that the improved DIVA model can produce more clear and explicit speech sounds, and is more close to human-like pronunciation system. In order to improve the recognition rate and accuracy of stored grain pests classification, saving classification time, a new recognition method based on the Gabor wavelet and sparse representation is proposed in this paper. In this paper, nine typical pests in the stored grain are regarded as the research object, Gabor energy features and morphological features are extracted, principal component analysis is used to reduction dimension and sparse representation is used to achieve the classification of stored grain pests. Simulation results show that, Gabor energy feature is a better choose for grain pests classification, and the overall performance of Gabor features and sparse representation is better than the traditional classification methods. In order to detect defects efficiently and improve the quality of products, this paper puts forward the concept about defect classification model and defect association model by a lot of defect data. The technology of similarity is applied to defect classification model, and the idea of Knowledge Discovery in Database is applied to defect association model. Defect classification model can analyze the defect efficiently and provides the basis of solving problems quickly while defect association model can be used to detect early and prevent problem, which can make effective improvements to testing and development. With the rapid development and application of RFID system, people would pay more attention to the security of RFID, which is the essential issue and key technology in RFID system. This paper establishes the evaluation index architecture of RFID security, then according to these indexes for the evaluation of the RFID system security which based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation model, this paper proposes a AHP (The Analytic Hierarchy Process) for weighs, and then applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method for more accurate and effective evaluation results, which is used to evaluate the security of RFID system. AC servo-driven precision transmission system is mainly composed of AC servo motor, mechanical transmission parts and control parts. Because of mutual coupling between various parts, particularly transmission system in mechanical coupling vibration in non-smooth transition, it will be of great harm to safe operation of the system. In the paper, virtual reality geographic information system is discussed and the related technologies involves the concept, characteristics, classification, key technology, and the main application and development situation , it analyzes the virtual reality technology and the necessity of combining geographical information system technology. As to the design and development process of the whole system, including the system's user interface, system requirements, the structure of the system design, system development model and related technology are discussed in this paper. In view of the virtual reality geographic information system technology, the 3-D (three Dimensional) spatial data acquisition, 3-D data model and digital terrain model and digital elevation model and 3-D data of level of detail model and the expression of 3-D data visualization, etc, on the basis of theoretical research, with the help of a professional virtual reality modeling software MultiGen Creator, it builts the scenic spot of the 3-D environment. And it presents the virtual scene modeling process on the basis of MultiGenCreator complex modeling, the implementation plan, scene modeling method are also given out.

This paper proposes a novel “What You See Is What You Get” filmmaking system, called as ARFMS. It provides users with a low cost and easy to use system to make movies. Users cannot only real-time visualize the performance with computer-generated objects, but also visual effects films will be finished without post-production. After finished the screenplay, the performance will be shot on-site using an ordinary camera. CG objects will be simply and effectively controlled by natural interaction. Then users can apply the DR-marker just like an actual scene element, because it takes the advantages of marker-based and markerless-based registration approaches. With the fast development of China power grid, more and more power system devices such as breakers are applied. Breaker testing also becomes very important. At the same time the testing procedure will cause voltage deviation around the breaker-testing station. Big voltage deviation can make severe damage for the power customers. Based on the power system simulation software ADPSS developed by China Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI), this paper built up the simulation model using the electromechanical-electromagnetic transient hybrid method, and simulated the voltage deviation in a Henan breaker-testing station. The simulation results showed that with the higher testing breaker current level, bigger voltage deviation is caused. This paper introduces a conventional synthesis power load model considering distribution network in PSASP, through analyzing the model structure and achieving process, proposes a power load model parameter identification method based on improved perturbed method. The paper gives parameters identification method of complete synthesis load model, including reactive power compensator parameters. The parameters identification method combines parameter identification process with sensitivity analyzing process together, not only can get model parameters but also can obtain the sensitivity of all parameters, which saves computing time and reduces the amount of calculation, the final simulation results prove the method is effective and feasible. In the catenary images, noise and artifacts are introduced due to the acquisition techniques and systems, which may influence the judgement of catenary quailty and working states. In this paper, the contourlet transform (CT) with performances of multi-scale, multi-resolution and anisotropy is proposed, which can be effectively applied to image denoising. However, the CT hasn’t the spinning invariance, which will lead to the Gibbs-like phenomena. In this paper, the CT with multiple cycle spinning is introduced for image denoising, which can effectively eliminate the visual artifacts due to the lack of translational invariance. Meanwhile, the different Laplacian pyramid (LP) filters and directional filter banks (DFB) are proposed to test noisy images. Finally, test the influence of cycle spinning numbers for denoising effects by using different cycle spinning times. The experiment results show that the proposed method has excellent denoising performance in terms of the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and the visual effects, which is also superior to some other existing methods in overcoming the Gibbs-like phenomena, background smoothing and preservation of edge sharpness and texture. The reliability of smart substations has a great significance on the safety and stability of smart grid operation. Taking the protection system in smart substation as an example, this paper constructs comprehensive reliability models to evaluate the reliability of smart substations with different architectures. The paper first illustrates two important aspects which affect the reliability of the protection system, namely the network architecture and the maintenance strategy. To satisfy these two aspects, the paper then adopt the Monte Carlo simulation combined with the Reliability Block Diagram method to make quantitative reliability analysis. At last, reliability of four power transformer protection systems applying different maintenance strategies with alternative architectures is evaluated. The simulation results show clearly that advanced maintenance strategies such as conditional maintenance will play a critical role in enhancing the reliability and availability of smart substation. The improvement of the effective recognition of quality abnormal patterns in dynamic process has seen increasing demands nowadays in the real-time monitor and diagnose of automatic manufacturing. Based on the analysis of the dynamic process of quality abnormal pattern, this paper presents a recognition model of quality abnormal pattern recognition using a Multi-SVM. Contrasting with performance of recognition model based on different kernel functions, suitable kernel functions were selected for the recognition model. Furthermore, we have contrasted the model proposed in this paper with the model adopted by Vahid. Simulation results show that the recognition model proposed in this paper has very high recognition accuracy for all patterns, and the overall average recognition accuracy is 97.78%. In order to improve the frequent itemsets generated layer-wise efficiency, the paper uses the Apriori property to reduce the search space. FP-grow algorithm for mining frequent pattern steps mainly is divided into two steps: FP-tree and FP-tree to construct a recursive mining. Algorithm FP-Growth is to avoid the high cost of candidate itemsets generation, fewer, more efficient scanning. The paper puts forward the new algorithms of weighted association rules based on Apriori and FP-Growth methods. In the same support, this method is the most effective and stable maximum frequent itemsets mining capacity and minimum execution time. Through theoretical analysis and experimental simulation of the performance of the algorithm is discussed, it is proved that the algorithm is feasible and effective. For obtaining relative accurate rolling-mill model is difficulty by the simple mathematical method, due to the complexity of the actual production scene and the non-linear relationship between variables, this paper firstly proposes an improved Bayesian regularization neural network model according to these measured data of 1580 production line. In this model, the paper constructs the improved Bayesian neural networks by the introduction of bound terms that represents the network complexity in the objective function. At last, the simulation result proves the effectiveness and validity of the model and the prediction accuracy of the model algorithm is superior to the traditional model. The traditional manual counting wafers leaded to the silicon wafer cracked by operating frequently. Instead of the manual work, this paper proposed a system to counting wafers based on Machine Vision theory and Image Processing algorithm. We designed a counter system and adopted infrared led as parallel illumination source. In image pre-processing, this paper presented a series of algorithms, which contained image smoothing, uneven image correction and image morphology operation. This paper proposed a vertical projection counting based on statistics analysis substitute for the Hough straight lines detection, and the method had been achieved ideal effects by experimental results. Electron beam lithography (EBL) is widely used in nano-scale device fabrication and research due to high resolution and excellent flexibility. In this paper, nanometer EBL system based on scanning electron microscope (SEM) is introduced. Its main components include a modified SEM, a laser interferometer controlled stage, a versatile high speed pattern generator, and a fully functional and easy-operational software system. In order to explain this EBL system design principle, realization method, this paper mainly introduces each component’s design basis, main structures and functions. Stitching experiments overlay experiments and arbitrary shape patterns exposure experiments have been done on this EBL system based on JSM-35CF SEM. The lithography results demonstrate that the resolution of electron beam lithography system can approach nanometer. Power system deregulation and the shortage of energy sources have led to increased interests in distributed generators (DGs). The access of DGs to the distribution networks brings advantages as well as creates adverse influences, which is related to the type, location and size of DGs. In order to fully apply the positive and restrain the negative, proper DGs planning is very important and indispensable. Based on the analysis of the uncertain factors, this paper presents the distribution features of load, WTG and PV. And According to these distribution features, the relatively accurate sampling data are obtained by different discretization methods. Furthermore, this paper also presents an uncertain planning model of DGs owned by the distribution company, which involve power loss improvement, the system voltage quality variation, environment change, etc. The optimization algorithm is based on the fusion methodology with the Monte Carlo simulation, the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and genetic algorithm (GA).
