Members of the jihadi movement have put their team's playbooks online, which can be mined for tactical and strategic insights that will help the US craft effective measures for defeating the jihadi movement and its followers. A study demonstrates the efficacy of this approach by highlighting insights gained from the works of four prominent jihadi ideologues.

Many social organizations are run by or associated with violent non-state groups. The only way of tackling the problem imagined in the continuation of these social organizations without humanitarian risk is the establishment of a displacement strategy wherein the state stops non-state social services by enhancing its own welfare services.
