The article reports on cutting liquid crystal display (LCD) cost by inkjet printing in the U.S. It is stated that LCD parts require several processes to manufacture and has high manufacturing cost. The move of lowering down consumer prices on products such as LCD, forced manufacturers to find alternatives in cutting the costs. Inkjet printing is one way of reducing the cost of LCD by using molds for printing instead of masks in the exposure process provides huge savings to manufacturers.
