The magnetization dynamics of metal-organic crystals has been studied in low frequency AC magnetic field. Four modes of domain wall motion (Debye relaxation, creep, slide and over - barrier motion (switching)) were distinguished in [MnII(H(R/S)-pn)(H2O)] [MnIII(CN)6]⋅2H2O crystals. Debye relaxation and creep of the domain walls are sensitive to Peierls relief configuration controlled by crystal lattice chirality. Structural defects and periodical Peierls potential compete in the damping of the domain walls. Driving factor of this competition is ratio of the domain wall width to the crystal lattice parameter.

Effect of charge carriers concentration on magnetic parameters of the ferromagnetic MnSb nanoclusters as well as opposite effect of cluster magnetization on spin polarization of holes and magnetoresistance were observed in GaSbMn thin films. Microwave magneto-resistance effect is evidence of the charge carriers spin filtering by ferromagnetic clusters.

This work reports study of magnetic properties of the ε-In0.24Fe1.76O3 nanowires possessing 6 kOe coercive force at room temperature. Freezing of the sample below 190 K causes sharp decrease of the coercive force and magnetization of nanowires driven by the easy axis spin-flop transition.

The temperature dependence of electronic and magnetic properties of the organic charge-transfer salt (DOEO)4[HgBr4]·TCE was investigated using magnetometry. The magnetic susceptibility shows a maximum at 40 K followed by an onset of a pronounced increase at 70 K and a constant behavior above 120 K. Implications on the charge carrier density are discussed. Combining the magnetometry with resistivity and ESR measurements we propose a sequence of insulating, metallic and semiconducting behavior with increasing temperature. Our results indicate that (DOEO)4[HgBr4]·TCE is close to the boundary between an insulating and conducting ground state.

In this paper the contributions of switching, slide, creep and Debye relaxation modes of the domain wall dynamics to the low-frequency magnetic properties of chiral and racemic [MnII(HL-pn)(H2O)][MnIII(CN)6]2H2O molecular ferrimagnets were distinguished.

Magnetic properties of a GaAs-based heterostructures containing InGaAs quantum well and 2 nm thick GaAs layer doped with 5 at. % Mn (GaAs:Mn) on flat and vicinal substrates were studied. Two types of ferromagnetism were found. In the heterostructures grown on the flat substrate parallel to the (001) GaAs plane the magnetization obeys the Bloch T3/2 temperature dependence while for the structures grown on the vicinal surface grown (disoriented by 3°) the magnetization follows percolation dependence.

High-frequency dynamic magnetic properties of quasi-two-dimensional organic conductors (BEDT-TTF)2IBr2ofα'- andβ-phases have been studied by Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The heating of crystals in theα'-phase is accompanied by their phase transition to theβ-phase, so, the Dyson distortion of the ESR line is appeared. Contributions from the crystal field and symmetry of the system as well as the orbital magnetic moment admixture to the total magnetic moment of charge carriers have been judged by the comparison of the orientation and temperature dependencies of the ESR spectra for theα'- andβ-phases. Experimental data have proved localized states of charge carriers either inα'- orβ-phases.

Microscopic elementary events responsible for magnetoplastic effect are studied in detail by means of photoluminescence, electron spin resonance and SQUID magnetometry in NaCl:Eu single crystals. The Eu2+ clusters being dislocation obstacles were used as a spin and luminescent labels allowed detecting simultaneous spin and atomic structure transitions in exchange-coupled few-atomic Eu2+ clusters under static magnetic field B = 5 T. Rearrangement of atomic structure of these clusters changes the lattice distortions around them and effectiveness of clusters interaction with moving dislocations during plastic flow. From the comparison of spectroscopic data and numerical calculations of aggregation pathways of small clusters it was concluded that magnetosensitive clusters contain two Eu2+ ions with parallel spins (dimers). Two different ways of creating of magnetosensitive dimers in the crystal lattice are found: (1) slow diffusion limited aggregation in freshly quenched crystals, and (2) fast aggregation stimulated by dislocations dynamical distortions of lattice provided by the plastic deformation of aged crystals.

An influence of a constant magnetic field (MF) with induction up to 15 T upon macroscopic plastic deformation of diamagnetic NaCl single crystals containing paramagnetic Eu impurity was observed. Effects of MF on instability of plastic flow (on the Portevin-Le Chatelier effect) in quenched NaCl:Eu crystals were found. The MF results in a decrease of the yield stress, a decrease of the probability of the instability appearance, and a decrease of the averaged magnitude of the deformation jumps, as well as in a chaotization of the distribution of the deformation jump magnitudes. The latter can be explained by partial plastic relaxation of internal stresses under MF that was confirmed by dislocations displacement induced by internal stresses in MF. The averaged amount of shear bands observed on the surface of the investigated crystals deformed under MF is half of that in reference specimens.
