This article discusses the development of thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) materials for use in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). The authors designed and synthesized two molecules, CQPh and CQPy, based on carbazole donors and benzopyrimidine acceptors. The photoluminescence spectra of these molecules were measured, and it was found that CQPh showed better device performance in red OLEDs, achieving a maximum external quantum efficiency (EQE) of 50.19%.
