Abstract This prospective study aimed to investigate microvascular changes in diabetic patients undergoing cataract surgery. Foveal avascular zone (FAZ) area, as well as vessel density (VD) in the macula and radial peripapillary capillary plexus (RPC), were compared before and after surgery. Sixty eyes (72.3%) had no diabetic retinopathy (no DR group) and 23 eyes (27.7%) had non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy (DR group). In the no DR group, the FAZ area in the superficial capillary plexus (SCP) decreased from 0.41 ± 0.13 to 0.38 ± 0.11 mm2 (P = 0.036), while no significant change was observed in the DR group (0.33 ± 0.12 to 0.30 ± 0.12 mm2, P = 0.091) at 6 months postoperatively. VD in the RPC increased from 34.4 ± 2.3% to 35.6 ± 2.3% in the no DR group (P = 0.009), but there was no significant change in the DR group (33.0 ± 3.5% vs. 34.0 ± 2.3%, P = 0.051) after 6 months. VD in the macula did not change in either group. Phacoemulsification reduced the FAZ area in the SCP and increased the VD in the RPC in diabetic patients without diabetic retinopathy at six months postoperatively.

Abstract Experimental studies identified a role of neuroinflammation in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). However, the role of inflammatory molecules as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers in patients with ALS is unclear. In this cross-sectional study, the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) levels of a set of inflammatory cytokines and chemokines were analyzed in 56 newly diagnosed ALS patients and in 47 age- and sex-matched control patients without inflammatory or degenerative neurological disorders. The molecules analyzed included: interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-2, IL-4, IL-5, IL-6, IL-7, IL-8, IL-9, IL-10, IL-12, IL-13, IL-17, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (GCSF), macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1a, MIP-1b, tumor necrosis factors (TNF), eotaxin. Principal component analysis (PCA) was used to explore possible associations between CSF molecules and ALS diagnosis. In addition, we analyzed the association between CSF cytokine profiles and clinical characteristics, including the disease progression rate score, and peripheral inflammation assessed using the Neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR). PCA identified six principal components (PCs) explaining 70.67% of the total variance in the CSF cytokine set. The principal component (PC1) explained 26.8% of variance and showed a positive load with CSF levels of IL-9, IL-4, GCSF, IL-7, IL-17, IL-13, IL-6, IL-1β, TNF, and IL-2. Logistic regression showed a significant association between PC1 and ALS diagnosis. In addition, in ALS patients, the same component was significantly associated with higher disease progression rate score and positively correlated with NLR. CSF inflammatory activation in present in ALS at the time of diagnosis and may characterize patients at higher risk for disease progression.

Abstract Spatial accurate mapping of land susceptibility to wind erosion is necessary to mitigate its destructive consequences. In this research, for the first time, we developed a novel methodology based on deep learning (DL) and active learning (AL) models, their combination (e.g., recurrent neural network (RNN), RNN-AL, gated recurrent units (GRU), and GRU-AL) and three interpretation techniques (e.g., synergy matrix, SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) decision plot, and accumulated local effects (ALE) plot) to map global land susceptibility to wind erosion. In this respect, 13 variables were explored as controlling factors to wind erosion, and eight of them (e.g., wind speed, topsoil carbon content, topsoil clay content, elevation, topsoil gravel fragment, precipitation, topsoil sand content and soil moisture) were selected as important factors via the Harris Hawk Optimization (HHO) feature selection algorithm. The four models were applied to map land susceptibility to wind erosion, and their performance was assessed by three measures consisting of area under of receiver operating characteristic (AUROC) curve, cumulative gain and Kolmogorov Smirnov (KS) statistic plots. The results revealed that GRU-AL model was considered as the most accurate, revealing that 38.5%, 12.6%, 10.3%, 12.5% and 26.1% of the global lands are grouped at very low, low, moderate, high and very high susceptibility classes to wind erosion hazard, respectively. Interpretation techniques were applied to interpret the contribution and impact of the eight input variables on the model’s output. Synergy plot revealed that the soil carbon content exhibited high synergy with DEM and soil moisture on the model’s predictions. ALE plot showed that soil carbon content and precipitation had negative feedback on the prediction of land susceptibility to wind erosion. Based on SHAP decision plot, soil moisture and DEM presented the highest contribution on the model’s output. Results highlighted new regions at high latitudes (southern Greenland coast, hotspots in Alaska and Siberia), which exhibited high and very high land susceptibility to wind erosion.

Abstract Modeling monthly rainfall erosivity is vital to the optimization of measures to control soil erosion. Rain gauge data combined with satellite observations can aid in enhancing rainfall erosivity estimations. Here, we presented a framework which utilized Geographically Weighted Regression approach to model global monthly rainfall erosivity. The framework integrates long-term (2001–2020) mean annual rainfall erosivity estimates from IMERG (Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission’s Integrated Multi-satellitE Retrievals for GPM) with station data from GloREDa (Global Rainfall Erosivity Database, n = 3,286 stations). The merged mean annual rainfall erosivity was disaggregated into mean monthly values based on monthly rainfall erosivity fractions derived from the original IMERG data. Global mean monthly rainfall erosivity was distinctly seasonal; erosivity peaked at ~ 200 MJ mm ha−1 h−1 month−1 in June–August over the Northern Hemisphere and ~ 700 MJ mm ha−1 h−1 month−1 in December–February over the Southern Hemisphere, contributing to over 60% of the annual rainfall erosivity over large areas in each hemisphere. Rainfall erosivity was ~ 4 times higher during the most erosive months than the least erosive months (December–February and June–August in the Northern and Southern Hemisphere, respectively). The latitudinal distributions of monthly and seasonal rainfall erosivity were highly heterogeneous, with the tropics showing the greatest erosivity. The intra-annual variability of monthly rainfall erosivity was particularly high within 10–30° latitude in both hemispheres. The monthly rainfall erosivity maps can be used for improving spatiotemporal modeling of soil erosion and planning of soil conservation measures.

Abstract To validate the performance of automated Prostate Cancer Molecular Imaging Standardized Evaluation (aPROMISE) in quantifying total prostate disease burden with 18F-DCFPyL PET/CT and to evaluate the interobserver and histopathologic concordance in the establishment of dominant and index tumor. Patients with a recent diagnosis of intermediate/high-risk prostate cancer underwent 18F-DCFPyL-PET/CT for staging purpose. In positive-18F-DCFPyL-PET/CT scans, automated prostate tumor segmentation was performed using aPROMISE software and compared to an in-house semiautomatic-manual guided segmentation procedure. SUV and volume related variables were obtained with two softwares. A blinded evaluation of dominant tumor (DT) and index tumor (IT) location was assessed by both groups of observers. In histopathological analysis, Gleason, International Society of Urological Pathology (ISUP) group, DT and IT location were obtained. We compared all the obtained variables by both software packages using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and Cohen’s kappa coefficient (k) for the concordance analysis. Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate choroidal morphology remodeling in AMD-associated type 1 macular neovascularization using two different anti-VEGF drugs. We registered 73 treatment-naïve eyes with a diagnosis of exudative AMD and type 1 MNV. Patients received 3 monthly intravitreal aflibercept (n = 36, aflibercept group [AG]) or brolucizumab (n = 37, brolucizumab group [BG]). Baseline best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) and anatomical (structural optical coherence tomography) parameters were collected at “T1 control”, before the loading phase (LP) of intravitreal injection, and at “T2 control”, 1 month after the last injection. The main outcomes measured were choroidal vascularity index (CVI), sub-foveal choroidal thickness (SFCT), and central macular thickness (CMT). Our results displayed significant SFCT reduction in both groups between T1 and T2 (p 0.05) after the loading aflibercept injections. Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of diabetic retinopathy (DR) on longitudinal morphological changes in AMD-associated type 1 macular neovascularization using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). We enrolled fifty treatment-naïve eyes with a diagnosis of exudative AMD and type 1 MNV. Twenty of 50 eyes were affected by mild DR. En face OCT angiography were examined for the MNV lesion area (mm2), the MNV flow area (mm2), the central macular thickness (CMT) and the BCVA. The OCTA acquisition was performed at the following visits: (i) before the loading phase (LP) of intravitreal injection of aflibercept (T1), and (ii) 1 month after the last intravitreal injection of loading phase comprising 3 monthly injections (T2). All morpho-functional parameters showed a significantly change at T2 compared to T1 values in both groups. Furthermore, we found a greater MNV area reduction after LP in eyes without DR (P = 0.023). With regard to the remaining parameters, no significant changes were found between two groups (P > 0.05). Our analysis revealed a less MNV area reduction after loading dose of anti-VEGF therapy in eyes affected by diabetic retinopathy.

Abstract The aim of this study was to study the retinal vessels in patients affected by vasculogenic erectile dysfunction (ED), using dynamic vessel analyzer (DVA). Patients with vasculogenic ED and control subjects were prospectively enrolled to undergo a complete urological and ophthalmologic evaluation, including DVA and structural optical coherence tomography (OCT). The main outcome measures were: (1) arterial dilation; (2) arterial constriction; (3) reaction amplitude (the difference between arterial dilation and constriction); and, (4) venous dilation. Thirty-five patients with ED and 30 male controls were included in the analysis. Mean ± SD age was 52.0 ± 10.8 years in the ED group and 48.1 ± 16.3 years in the control group (p = 0.317). Abstract F508del, the most frequent mutation in cystic fibrosis (CF), impairs the stability and folding of the CFTR chloride channel, thus resulting in intracellular retention and CFTR degradation. The F508del defect can be targeted with pharmacological correctors, such as VX-809 and VX-445, that stabilize CFTR and improve its trafficking to plasma membrane. Using a functional test to evaluate a panel of chemical compounds, we have identified tricyclic pyrrolo-quinolines as novel F508del correctors with high efficacy on primary airway epithelial cells from CF patients. The most effective compound, PP028, showed synergy when combined with VX-809 and VX-661 but not with VX-445. By testing the ability of correctors to stabilize CFTR fragments of different length, we found that VX-809 is effective on the amino-terminal portion of the protein that includes the first membrane-spanning domain (amino acids 1–387). Instead, PP028 and VX-445 only show a stabilizing effect when the second membrane-spanning domain is included (amino acids 1–1181). Our results indicate that tricyclic pyrrolo-quinolines are a novel class of CFTR correctors that, similarly to VX-445, interact with CFTR at a site different from that of VX-809. Tricyclic pirrolo-quinolines may represent novel CFTR correctors suitable for combinatorial pharmacological treatments to treat the basic defect in CF.

Abstract The aim of this study was to assess the relationship of clinical characteristics to the rate of retinal thinning in eyes with diabetic macular edema (DME) treated with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapy. We analyzed subjects with a long-term follow-up (≥ 3 years) and evidence of resolved DME after the initiation of anti-VEGF therapy (baseline visit). To measure the long-term rate of retinal thinning during treatment, a second visit (first visit with evidence of resolved DME after 3 years) was also considered. A longitudinal quantitative topographical assessment of the inner and outer retinal thicknesses was provided. Clinical characteristics were associated with the rate of longitudinal retinal thinning. Abstract The length of stay (LOS) in hospital is one of the main parameters for evaluating the management of a health facility, of its departments in relation to the different specializations. Healthcare costs are in fact closely linked to this parameter as well as the profit margin. In the orthopedic field, the provision of this parameter is increasingly complex and of fundamental importance in order to be able to evaluate the planning of resources, the waiting times for any scheduled interventions and the management of the department and related surgical interventions. The purpose of this work is to predict and evaluate the LOS value using machine learning methods and applying multiple linear regression, starting from clinical data of patients hospitalized with lower limb fractures. The data were collected at the "San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d’Aragona" hospital in Salerno (Italy).

Abstract Decreased loading of the paretic lower limb and impaired weight transfer between limbs negatively impact balance control and forward progression during gait in individuals post-stroke. However, the biomechanical and neuromuscular control mechanisms underlying such impaired limb loading remain unclear, partly due to their tendency of avoiding bearing weight on the paretic limb during voluntary movement. Thus, an approach that forces individuals to more fully and rapidly load the paretic limb has been developed. The primary purpose of this study was to compare the neuromechanical responses at the ankle and knee during externally induced limb loading in people with chronic stroke versus able-bodied controls, and determine whether energy absorption capacity, measured during induced limb loading of the paretic limb, was associated with walking characteristics in individuals post-stroke. Results revealed reduced rate of energy absorption and dorsiflexion velocity at the ankle joint during induced limb loading in both the paretic and non-paretic side in individuals post-stroke compared to healthy controls. The co-contraction index was higher in the paretic ankle and knee joints compared to the non-paretic side. In addition, the rate of energy absorption at the paretic ankle joint during the induced limb loading was positively correlated with maximum walking speed and negatively correlated with double limb support duration. These findings demonstrated that deficits in ankle dorsiflexion velocity may limit the mechanical energy absorption capacity of the joint and thereby affect the lower limb loading process during gait following stroke.

Abstract To evaluate differences in macular and optic disc circulation in patients affected by Wolfram Syndrome (WS) employing optical coherence tomography-angiography (OCTA) imaging. In this retrospective study, 18 eyes from 10 WS patients, 16 eyes of 8 patients affected by type I diabetes and 17 eyes from 17 healthy controls were enrolled. All patients were imaged through OCT and OCTA and vascular parameters, as perfusion density (PD) and vessel length density (VLD) were measured. Abstract To develop a novel scoring system aiming at guiding the differential diagnosis between macular neovascularization secondary to pachychoroid disease (pMNV) and neovascular age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in patients aged 50 years and older. In this retrospective study performed at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele (Milan, Italy) and Créteil University Eye Clinic (Créteil, France), we enrolled patients 50 years of age and older, visited between January 2017 and January 2019, who were diagnosed with either treatment-naïve pMNV or neovascular AMD. At the time of diagnosis, all patients underwent a comprehensive ophthalmologic evaluation, spectral-domain optical coherence tomography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, and optical coherence tomography angiography. Univariate comparison between pMNV and neovascular AMD groups was performed to identify the main clinical predictors for pMNV. The selected predictors were taken into a binomial logistic regression and eventually served as the basis for the development of InCASEOf scoring system. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were used to study the model performance. Forty-eight right eyes from 48 patients with pMNV and 39 right eyes from 39 patients with neovascular AMD were considered in this study. Age (+ 2 points), sex (+ 2 points), choroidal thickness (+ 2 points), early pachyvessels (+ 2 points), and evidence of MNV at OCTA (+ 3 points) turned out to be predictors for pMNV. Four additional factors significant at univariate analysis were considered: type 2 and type 3 MNVs and presence of intraretinal fluid (− 0.5 points each), and presence of subretinal fluid (+ 0.5 points). InCASEOf scoring system was built with a high score of 11.5 points. The cutoff value of 6.5 showed good accuracy in separating pMNVs from neovascular AMDs. InCASEOf is a straightforward clinical scoring system, accessible to comprehensive ophthalmologists, with the purpose of enabling easy distinction and expert-like diagnosis of pMNV and neovascular AMD in patients aged 50 years or older.

Abstract High-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) is an aggressive malignancy often diagnosed at an advanced stage. Although most HGSOC patients respond initially to debulking surgery combined with cytotoxic chemotherapy, many ultimately relapse with platinum-resistant disease. Thus, improving outcomes requires new ways of limiting metastasis and eradicating residual disease. We identified previously that Liver kinase B1 (LKB1) and its substrate NUAK1 are implicated in EOC spheroid cell viability and are required for efficient metastasis in orthotopic mouse models. Here, we sought to identify additional signalling pathways altered in EOC cells due to LKB1 or NUAK1 loss-of-function. Transcriptome analysis revealed that inflammatory signalling mediated by NF-κB transcription factors is hyperactive due to LKB1-NUAK1 loss in HGSOC cells and spheroids. Upregulated NF-κB signalling due to NUAK1 loss suppresses reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and sustains cell survival in spheroids. NF-κB signalling is also activated in HGSOC precursor fallopian tube secretory epithelial cell spheroids, and is further enhanced by NUAK1 loss. Finally, immunohistochemical analysis of OVCAR8 xenograft tumors lacking NUAK1 displayed increased RelB expression and nuclear staining. Our results support the idea that NUAK1 and NF-κB signalling pathways together regulate ROS and inflammatory signalling, supporting cell survival during each step of HGSOC pathogenesis. We propose that their combined inhibition may be efficacious as a novel therapeutic strategy for advanced HGSOC.

Abstract The effects of anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) agents on the native ocular vasculature are poorly understood. This pilot study aimed to assess short-term changes in retinal and choroidal perfusion after anti-VEGF treatment for neovascular exudative age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) using the relative flow volume (RFV) parameter derived from laser speckle flowgraphy. Ten treatment-naïve nAMD patients underwent measurements of mean, maximum, minimum, and differential RFV within a retinal arteriolar segment and a choroidal vessel segment outside the neovascular area. Abstract Kidney structural abnormalities are common features of Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) patients that lead to a progressive decline in renal function. Magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) provides useful information on renal microstructures but it has not been applied to these patients. This study investigated using DTI to detect renal abnormalities in BBS patients with no overt renal dysfunction. Ten BBS subjects with estimated glomerular filtration rates over 60 ml/min/1.73m2 and 14 individuals matched for age, gender, body mass index and renal function were subjected to high-field DTI. Fractional anisotropy (FA), and mean, radial and axial diffusivity were evaluated from renal cortex and medulla. Moreover, the corticomedullary differentiation of each DTI parameter was compared between groups. Abstract The aim of this study was to measure macular perfusion in patients with type 1 diabetes and no signs of diabetic retinopathy (DR) using volume rendered three-dimensional (3D) optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA). We collected data from 35 patients with diabetes and no DR who had OCTA obtained. An additional control group of 35 eyes from 35 healthy subjects was included for comparison. OCTA volume data were processed with a previously presented algorithm in order to obtain the 3D vascular volume and 3D perfusion density. In order to weigh the contribution of different plexuses’ impairment to volume rendered vascular perfusion, OCTA en face images were binarized in order to obtain two-dimensional (2D) perfusion density metrics. Mean ± SD age was 27.2 ± 10.2 years [range 19–64 years] in the diabetic group and 31.0 ± 11.4 years [range 19–61 years] in the control group (p = 0.145). The 3D vascular volume was 0.27 ± 0.05 mm3 in the diabetic group and 0.29 ± 0.04 mm3 in the control group (p = 0.020). The 3D perfusion density was 9.3 ± 1.6% and 10.3 ± 1.6% in diabetic patients and controls, respectively (p = 0.005). Using a 2D visualization, the perfusion density was lower in diabetic patients, but only at the deep vascular complex (DVC) level (38.9 ± 3.7% in diabetes and 41.0 ± 3.1% in controls, p = 0.001), while no differences were detected at the superficial capillary plexus (SCP) level (34.4 ± 3.1% and 34.3 ± 3.8% in the diabetic and healthy subjects, respectively, p = 0.899). In conclusion, eyes without signs of DR of patients with diabetes have a reduced volume rendered macular perfusion compared to control healthy eyes.

Abstract Pregnant women may be at higher risk of severe complications associated with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which may lead to obstetrical complications. We performed a case control study comparing pregnant women with severe coronavirus disease 19 (cases) to pregnant women with a milder form (controls) enrolled in the COVI-Preg international registry cohort between March 24 and July 26, 2020. Risk factors for severity, obstetrical and immediate neonatal outcomes were assessed. A total of 926 pregnant women with a positive test for SARS-CoV-2 were included, among which 92 (9.9%) presented with severe COVID-19 disease. Risk factors for severe maternal outcomes were pulmonary comorbidities [aOR 4.3, 95% CI 1.9–9.5], hypertensive disorders [aOR 2.7, 95% CI 1.0–7.0] and diabetes [aOR2.2, 95% CI 1.1–4.5]. Pregnant women with severe maternal outcomes were at higher risk of caesarean section [70.7% (n = 53/75)], preterm delivery [62.7% (n = 32/51)] and newborns requiring admission to the neonatal intensive care unit [41.3% (n = 31/75)]. In this study, several risk factors for developing severe complications of SARS-CoV-2 infection among pregnant women were identified including pulmonary comorbidities, hypertensive disorders and diabetes. Obstetrical and neonatal outcomes appear to be influenced by the severity of maternal disease.

Abstract To study the outer retina morpho-functional characteristics and the choriocapillaris (CC) features in type 1 diabetic (T1D) patients, with and without signs of diabetic retinopathy (NPDR and NoDR). Twenty-five NPDR and 18 NoDR eyes were imaged by Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography. Ellipsoid zone (EZ) “normalized” reflectivity and CC perfusion density parameters, as flow deficits number (FDn), flow deficit average area (FDa) and flow deficit percentage (FD%), were analysed. Multifocal electroretinogram (mfERG) response amplitude densities (RADs) were measured. Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) is typically characterized by vascular alterations in the acute phase. The aim of this study was to evaluate choroidal changes occurring in asymptomatic, acute and chronic stages of LHON. We enrolled 49 patients with LHON, 19 with Dominant Optic Atrophy (DOA) and 22 healthy controls. Spectral Domain-Optical Coherence Tomography (SD-OCT) scans of macular and peripapillary regions were performed in all subjects, to evaluate macular and peripapillary choroidal thickness, and retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thicknes. Macular and peripapillary choroidal thicknesses were significantly increased in the acute LHON stage. On the contrary, macular choroidal thickness was significantly reduced in the chronic stage. Furthermore, peripapillary choroidal thickness was decreased in chronic LHON and in DOA. Both RNFL and choroid had the same trend (increased thickness, followed by thinning), but RNFL changes preceded those affecting the choroid. In conclusion, our study quantitatively demonstrated the involvement of the choroid in LHON pathology. The increase in choroidal thickness is a feature of the LHON acute stage, which follows the thickening of RNFL. Conversely, thinning of the choroid is the common outcome in chronic LHON and in DOA.

Abstract Kawasaki disease (KD) can be associated with high morbidity and mortality due to coronary artery aneurysms formation and myocardial dysfunction. Aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic performance of non-invasive myocardial work in predicting subtle myocardial abnormalities in Kawasaki disease (KD) children with coronary dilatation (CADL). A total of 100 patients (age 8.7 ± 5 years) were included: 45 children with KD and CADL (KD/CADL) (Z-score > 2.5), 45 age-matched controls (CTRL) and, finally, an additional group of 10 children with KD in absence of coronary dilatation (KD group). Abstract There is a lack of treatment aimed at the regression of reticular pseudodrusen (RPD) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The aim of this prospective, pilot study is to evaluate the safety and short-term efficacy of subthreshold laser treatment (SLT) in patients affected by RPD secondary to dry AMD (dAMD). Twenty eyes of 20 patients (mean age 78.4 ± 6.8 years) with RPD secondary to dAMD were prospectively enrolled. All patients were treated in an extrafoveal area of 1.27 mm2 using end-point management yellow subthreshold laser and followed for 3 months. Best-corrected visual acuity was 0.140 ± 0.09 LogMAR at the baseline and no changes were observed during the follow-up (p = 0.232). Abstract The aim of this study was to explore the relative prevalence and clinical differences between age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and pachychoroid disease in patients older than 50 years with newly diagnosed exudative neovascular maculopathy, and also assess the rate of misdiagnosis between these two disorders. In this retrospective observational study, we reviewed data from patients 50 years of age and older with newly diagnosed treatment-naïve exudative macular neovascularization (MNV) secondary to AMD or pachychoroid disease. Of the 139 patients (139 eyes) who fulfilled the inclusion criteria, 35 patients were graded as being affected by pachychoroid disease complicated by exudative MNV and 104 subjects had neovascular AMD. Therefore, prevalence of pachychoroid disease complicated by exudative MNV was 25.2% (confidence interval—CI 18.2–33.2%).
