Dunavski rubin is a medium early indeterminate cultivar with large fruits and average fruit weight of 180 g. It was developed by crossing cultivars Korona and Saint Pierre. Hybrid material was grown by using the pedigree method. Phenotypically uniform line V9 was selected and submitted to the Varietal Release Committee of the Republic of Serbia. Cultivar was released in 2014 by the Decision of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of Serbia under no. 320-04-1871/2/2013-11. Dunavski rubin represents successful combination of genes responsible for high fertility rate and fruit quality. Fruits of Dunavski rubin cultivar have high percentage of dry matter (6.30%), high level of lycopene (106.7 mg/100 g), and excellent total acidity (0.39%). Vitamin C content is 52.7 mg/100 g, while total sugars amount to 5.71%. High K content (1520 mg/kg) and low Na content (79.8 mg/kg) is what distinguishes this cultivar from the others. Comparing with other cultivars trough three year field experiments, it was concluded that Dunavski rubin is a cultivar intended for fresh consumption due to a long fruit-bearing period, but is also an excellent raw material for processing due to its high quality fruit. All of the above mentioned classifies Dunavski rubin as an enhancer in technological processing of tomato., Sorta Dunavski rubin je srednje rana indeterminantna sorta, krupnih plodova, prosečne mase 180 g. Nastala je ukrštanjem sorti Korona i Saint Pierre. Hibridni materijal je uzgajan po pedigre metodi. Fenotipski ujednačena linija V9 je odabrana i prijavljena Komisiji za priznavanje sorti. Sorta je registrovana 2014. godine rešenjem Ministarstva poljoprivrede, šumarstva i vodoprivrede Republike Srbije pod brojem 320-04-1871/2/2013-11. Dunavski rubin predstavlja uspešnu kombinaciju gena odgovornih za visok potencijal rodnosti i visok kvalitet ploda. Plodovi Dunavskog rubina imaju visok procenat suve materije od 6.30, visok nivo likopena od 106.7 mg/100 g i odličnu ukupnu kiselost od 0.39%. Sadržaj vitamina C iznosi 52.70 mg/100 g , dok ukupni šećeri čine 5.71%. Visok sadržaj K od 1520 mg/kg i nizak sadržaj Na od 79.8 mg/kg je ono što ovu sortu izdvaja od drugih. Na osnovu trogodišnjih poljskih ogleda i poređenja sa drugim sortama utvrđeno je da je Dunavski rubin pogodan za svežu potrošnju zbog dugog perioda plodonošenja ali je i odlična sirovina za preradu zbog visokog kvaliteta ploda koji je svrstavaju u red poboljšivača u tehnološkom procesu prerade paradajza.

The objective of this paper was to determine the genetic mode of inheritance of quantitative traits in cabbage via regression analysis in complete diallel crossing.The regression analysis of head mass traits showed that the regression line was distant from the limiting parabola, indicating nonadditive gene action in head mass inheritance. The expected line of regression intersected the Wr axis below the coordinate origin, confirming the presence of superdominance in this inheritance. As useful head part mass comprises the bulk of total head mass, the regression analysis results were similar. The regression line was also far from the limiting parabola indicating nonadditive gene action in this trait's inheritance. Similarly the regression line intersected the Wr axis below the origin, suggesting we had a case of superdominance in the inheritance of this trait as well.

Yield level is not the sole consideration when deciding which bean variety to grow. The general appearance of bean grain is an important factor, which affects the demand for a particular bean variety. Preferences are determined by dietary customs of the population. While most bean varieties selected before 1980 in Yugoslavia have white grains, farmers still grow popular domestic populations, which they multiply by themselves. When the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops embarked on a program of bean breeding, a decision was made to try and meet the specific market demands. Emphasis was placed on the development of high-yielding varieties, suitable for growing in pure stand and for machine harvesting, but these varieties were also expected to have grain characteristics similar to those of the traditional bean populations. Two varieties with colored grains have been released so far. Zlatko, a medium late variety (on the national varietal list since 1994) has large, cylindrical, golden-yellow grains, which retain shape during cooking. Sremac (released in 1999) is an early variety with greenish grains. White-grained varieties are developed by carefully selecting heterogeneous population over several generations. The first variety to be released (1997), Dvadesetica, is early and high-yielding, with semi-planate, medium large grains (1000/grain mass is about 400 g). The variety Maksa has white, medium large grains, the variety Seiko has small, rounded grains. These varieties were entered on the national varietal list in 1998. Variety Balkan has rounded grains (1000/grain mass is more from 330 g). Balkan released in 2000., U Naučnom institutu za ratarstvo i povrtarstvo u Novom Sadu, počevši od 1981, najobimniji je bio rad na stvaranju visokoprinosnih sorti, pogodnih za gajenje u čistom usevu i mehanizovanu žetvu, koje bi imale osobine zrna starih, tradicionalnih populacija pasulja. Do sada su priznate dve sorte pasulja obojenog zrna: srednje-kasna sorta Zlatko (1994) krupnog, valjkastog zrna zlatnožute boje, i Sremac (1999), rana sorta u tipu kulaša. Od pasulja bele semenjače stvoreni su: Dvadesetica (1997) polu-pljosnatog zrna, masa 1000 zrna oko 400g, ranostasna. Changes in major environmental conditions that occur during the development of the mycelium will produce variations in this development. The objective of our study was to investigate the joint effects of the temperature, concentration, and pH value of the nutrient medium on the initial and final growth of the oyster mushroom mycelium, strain NS-355. The trial was established in five climatic chambers, each with a different temperature (15°C, 20°C, 25°C, 30°C and 35°C). Three different concentrations of carbohydrates (0.1%, 0.2% and 0.3%) and five pH values (5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 and 7.0) of the medium were used to grow the mycelium and there were five replicates. The medium following combination of the three factors proved to be the best for initial growth: the highest concentration of carbohydrates, temperature of 35°C, and pH value 5.5. ., Promene osnovnih ekoloških faktora tokom razvoja micelijuma prouzrokuju promene u njegovom razvoju. Micelijum se razvijao na podlogama sa tri različite koncentracije ugljenih hidraia (0.1%, 0.2% i 0.3%), pri pet pH vrednosti (5.0, 5.5, 6.0, 6.5 i 7.0), a u pet ponavljanja. Početni rast micelijuma bio je najintenzivniji na podlozi sa najvećom koncentracijom ugljenih hidrata, pri temperaturi od 35°C i pH vrednosti 5.5. .
