Abstract

The article presents a study on the connections that can be established between sleep and health. Individuals are categorized based on their habitual sleep duration as individuals with short sleep pattern, intermediate sleep pattern, and long sleep pattern. Several evidences have shown that sleeping more time, or less, than associated to the intermediate sleep pattern has adverse consequences on physical health, particularly on anxiety and depression.
