This study explores the realm of authentic leadership theory to examine how female teenagers can enhance relational authenticity and develop authentic leadership skills through a specialized program. Employing multigroup Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), we assess the impact of this leadership intervention on female teenagers, comparing pre- and post-intervention results. Additionally, we contrasted the outcomes of program participants with those of same-aged, non-participating students from similar backgrounds. The analysis revealed a significant increase in the scores for the four constructs of authentic leadership among the program's participants. Notably, their academic grades also improved post-intervention. Focusing on high school females aged 16 years and above, the study addresses a critical age for developing self-perception of competence and confidence. The persistent underrepresentation of females in leadership roles underscores the necessity for early interventions like this one. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how a leadership program can positively influence the development of authentic leadership skills among participants, while also observing enhancements in academic achievement following this particular intervention

The influence of Michigan leadership behaviors in organizational variables has been conducted in the Western context. However, limited studies have been conducted in the Vietnam context, particularly in the primary school sector. This study aims to examine the impact of Michigan leadership behaviors on organizational citizenship behaviors (OCBs) in Vietnamese primary schools. In addition, this research aims to challenge the mediating role of organizational justice (OJ) and person-organization fit (POF) in the relationship between Michigan leadership behaviors and OCBs. A total of 282 responses were collected from various primary schools in Vietnam. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and linear regression analysis were used to answer the research question. Findings partially supported our hypotheses as two Michigan leadership dimensions significantly influence OCBs, and OJ mediates the relationship between relationship-oriented leadership behavior (ROL) and OCBs. This study opens the main gaps in the current leadership studies, including the influence of Michigan leadership behaviors on OCB, its role in promoting OJ, and the underlying mechanism through which Michigan leadership behaviors contribute to OCB with the mediation of OJ.

The South African educational system has challenges regarding learner outcomes of previously disadvantaged schools. New thinking is mandatory, and school leadership needs to play an significant role to improve the status quo. The servant leadership paradigm may be a substantial factor to counter the challenges. A quantitative approach measured the covariation between the servant leadership paradigm and its influence on the organizational climate of private schools to learn implementable lessons. The construct of servant leadership was explored via the Servant Leadership Survey (SLS) of Van Dierendonck and Nuijten. According to Castro and Martins's Climate Survey Questionnaire (CSQ), the organizational climate was analyzed. A total of 249 respondents, all permanently employed as educators from primary and secondary private schools, completed the survey questionnaires. It was found that private schools' leadership exhibits the characteristics of the servant leadership practices of empowerment, stewardship, accountability, and humility. It was confirmed that private school leadership displays the organizational climate groupings of organizational image, teamwork, work environment, and leadership as priorities that increase constructive organizational climate in the school setting. Recommendation about the implication of these results to improve the disadvantaged school environment is discussed.

This study discusses the fulfillment of value forms by examining the virtue of school leadership. The virtue of school leadership stresses character traits in leaders that focus on the pursuit of excellence, appear as a value form, comprise paths to fulfilling values, reinforce leaders' positive motivation, and foster reform in schools. To investigate this phenomenon, a qualitative method was adopted to interview 18 leaders from schools in northern Taiwan. The analysis of the findings suggests that staff who exhibit the virtue of school leadership focus on leading by example, satisfying others, surmounting failures, and adhering to ideals, which involve three paths to fulfilling value forms.

The study was undertaken to identify the essential leadership capabilities and managerial competencies as the key leadership performance drivers in Malaysian focused universities. To collect data, the previously developed scales of capabilities, competencies, and leadership performance in the context of Malaysian Higher Education (HE) were distributed among the leaders in seven public focused and 12 private focused universities. In total, 172 completed surveys were collected among which 94 had been filled out by the leaders in Malaysian public focused and 78 had been completed by leaders in private focused universities. The data were screened and SmartPLS 3 was employed to analyze the data. Also, Finite Mixture Partial Least Squares (FIMIX-PLS) segmentation and Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) were run to extend the results. The outcome of FIMIX-PLS didn't reveal unobserved heterogeneity within the data and, through IPMA, change-oriented capability was identified as the main improvement area to be addressed by management activities. Moreover, the implications of the findings were discussed and future directions were recommended.

As in every organization, leadership plays the most important role in conducting business in school organizations as well. Organizations reach their goals more effectively and more efficiently when they are effective. The aim of this study is to assess data regarding qualities and training of effective school leaders. To achieve this end, a qualitative study was designed and related data were collected. A form consisting of six open-ended questions was developed as a data collection tool. The study was conducted with a group of 26 teachers and four administrators. The data were analyzed through content and descriptive analysis. It was expected that effective school principals have strong interpersonal relationships, have leadership qualities, and are considerate in terms of social and personality traits. Some suggestions regarding the training of principals were also presented.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, which is one of the biggest epidemics of the last century and can be regarded as a global tragedy, leaders had to mobilize many resources of their countries quickly and persuade their citizens to change their routine behavior. The approach followed by the leaders of the country in their efforts to convince their people has been an important factor in their success or failure. This paper aims to examine with Michel Foucault's notion of biopower, and discourses and behaviors of women leaders in countries against the global pandemic which cost high life tool gave harsh messages to the humanity. For this purpose, leadership examples in Finland, Iceland, Taiwan and New Zealand will be examined in detail using the discourse analysis technique. As a result, in current times when populist and autocratic leader style is on the rise, women leaders not only took their countries to success, but they also managed to inspire other countries.
