The article offers information on several species of the Craspedia flower and how to cultivate them. It says that the plant is a tricky one to grow, as it requires plenty of moisture in highly aerated soil, with plenty of drainage and shade. Several species reportedly exist in England, Australia and New Zealand and are so diverse that other plants, such as the Pycnosorus, were mistakenly believed to be a variety of the Craspedia. A description of some is included, such as the C. coolaminica, C. costinia, and C. Crocata.
