Objective: The objective of the research carried out was to compare the depth cure of 3 composite resins using the ISO 4049 standard with 3 different lamp models. Materials and methods: Composite resin cylinders (15 for each experimental group) were made according to ISO 4049 with the following types of resins composites: Beautifil Bulk (BB) (Shofu Inc), Tetric N Ceram Bulk Fill (TC) (Ivoclar Vivadent), Filtek One Restaurador Bulk Fill (FO) (3M ESPE). The composite resins were photoactivated with LED curing lamps. (LED C monowave -- Woodpecker, X CURE poliwave - Woodpecker, I LED II poliwave - Woodpecker). Results: The results obtained were analyzed by the Anova test of two factors with a95% of confidence. This was contrasted with Scheffé's multiple comparisons test. The statistical analysis carried out concludes that the 3 Bulk Fill composite resins light-cured with the 3 models of lamps used in this study reached the values indicated by the manufacturers (greater than 4mm). Conclusions: There are significant differences between the lamps used. Being the LED C monowave and the I LED II the ones that obtained the highest values. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective. To compare the microhardness in a composite resin of nanoparticles with complementary techniques of light curing r; based on the principle of wave length and intensity of light that need materials for their conversion. Material and methods. Experimental study. 90 blocks of a composite resin of nanoparticles whose dimensions were 10mm of diameter and 2mm of thick were manufactured, those blocks were separated into three groups according to the type of light exposure : technique of Low Light (Soft star), technique of flashing light (Blinking light),technique of intense light (strong light), then the samples were taken to an indenter of last generation Zwick / ROLL Indentec ZHV with an increase (eye) of 20X to see better the footprint where a load of 500 g on the surface (indentation) was applied in order to determine the microhardness. Results. The results showed according to the ANOVA analysis showed a statistically significant difference between groups (p = 0,00 <0,05); so it was evaluated with a multiple comparison test if the three groups were different or there is one that differs from the others ; finding that there is statistically significant difference in the values of microhardness in the technique Soft star with respect to other techniques. Conclusion. The composite resin of nanoparticles exposed to soft star technique, has a higher microhardness, in comparison to those exposed to other techniques; so the use of this technique in the polymerization of a composite resin is recommended in each increase in both the anterior and posterior sector; in order to produce higher conversion of monomer to polymer and of that.
