In this paper, the laboratory of Chongqing University is analyzed, including its efficiency, laboratory equipment management status. The result is not satisfactory, such as low efficiency, poor communication. This situation cannot support to train students’ innovation consciousness and innovation ability. The relative lack of space and management in university laboratories has become a bottleneck restricting the development of first-rate experimental platforms. Based on the analysis of laboratory utilization, this paper transformed the workstations used by the fixed students into the floating workstations and expanded the flat distribution of instruments to the three -dimensional space to increase the capacity of the laboratories. At the same time, the process of overall planning, auditing and quality control was applied to optimize resource allocation between different disciplines during the construction of experimental platform, and the management system of combining the intelligent experimental management hardware and software, responsibility system and laboratory regulations was developed to improve the efficiency and safety of laboratory operation.
