Introdução: As doenças infecciosas são frequentes desafios para a saúde pública mundial, a pandemia COVID-19 tem provocado o uso de tecnologias remotas no ensino e modificou a forma de educar. Objetivos: Avaliar a percepção dos acadêmicos de medicina quanto à aprendizagem remota durante o isolamento social, identificar suas principais dificuldades e comparar o desempenho dos alunos com ensino presencial. Métodos: Pesquisa de campo de opinião pública, com abordagem quantitativa de caráter descritivo e delineamento transversal. Resultados: O ranking médio de 3,10 no ensino presencial e 1,43 na aprendizagem remota demonstra uma dificuldade dos acadêmicos em seguir uma rotina organizada na aprendizagem remota. Quando questionados em relação ao foco durante as aulas, a modalidade de ensino presencial obteve um ranking médio de 2,21 e a aprendizagem remota de 1,85. Discussão: Através do estudo, pôde-se perceber que o foco e assiduidade dos acadêmicos de medicina nas atividades remotas foram comprometidos. Os resultados também evidenciaram a diminuição do gosto pelas aulas e uma maior exaustão com a mudança para a aprendizagem remota. Conclusão: Houve diminuição do aproveitamento em relação ao ensino presencial, cansaço, dificuldade de organização e aumento da ansiedade.

Introdução: Enfermeiros são considerados protagonistas no enfrentamento da pandemia Covid-19. O desenvolvimento de medidas que promovam a resiliência no ambiente laboral é imprescindível. Objetivo: Analisar a associação entre resiliência e características socioeconômicas, laborais e de saúde de enfermeiros da atenção terciária de um município do interior de Mato Grosso no contexto da pandemia Covid-19. Método: Estudo transversal, realizado com enfermeiros da atenção terciária à saúde. Os dados foram coletados por meio de questionário socioeconômico, laboral e de saúde, escola de resiliência e do Self Report Questionare-20. Resultados: Dos 101 enfermeiros, apresentaram baixo/médio nível de resiliência 49,5%. Constatou-se indicativo de morbidade psicológica em 51,5% da amostra. Sexo feminino (p

A Anemia Infecciosa Eqüina (AIE), causada pelo Equine infectious anemia virus (EIAV), é uma das principais doenças virais que acometem equinos, asininos, e muares. É encontrada em todas as regiões do Brasil. O vírus é propagado por insetos hematófagos do gênero Tabanus sp. e por Stomoxys calcitrans. A AIE é, até o momento, uma doença incurável, não existindo vacina ou tratamento eficiente. Em virtude dos sinais clínicos inespecíficos e da possibilidade da presença de animais infectados assintomáticos, é fundamental a realização periódica dos testes sorológicos visando a detectar precocemente os animais portadores do vírus. Considerando a severidade da AIE, este artigo tem por objetivos discutir aspectos da doença como histórico e epidemiologia, características do agente etiológico, transmissão, patogenia, sinais clínicos, diagnóstico e consequências, uma vez que animais infectados podem se tornar potenciais transmissores do EIAV. Foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico, PubVet e Scielo, nos idiomas português e inglês considerando os últimos 22 anos. Os termos de pesquisa e descritores utilizados foram "anemia infecciosa equina” e/ou “soroprevalência” e/ou “prevalência” e/ou “vírus” e/ou “EIAV” e/ou diagnóstico. Inicialmente foram pré-selecionadas 40 publicações e posteriormente, 28 foram selecionadas para embasar este estudo.

A Tristeza Parasitária Bovina (TPB), causada por Babesia bovis e B. bigemina em conjunto com a Anaplasma marginale, é responsável por causar prejuízos à bovinocultura nacional. Disseminada em todas as regiões do Brasil, estima-se que a TPB gerou um gasto de cerca de 3,5 milhões de dólares para a bovinocultura nacional no ano de 2019. O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar um estudo retrospectivo considerando os anos de 2017 a 2021, sobre a ocorrência desses hemoparasitas por meio de análises citológicas de esfregaços sanguíneos em rebanhos bovinos provenientes de quatro propriedades nos municípios do Prado, Jucuruçu, São Sebastião do Passé e São Miguel das Matas, estado da Bahia/Brasil. Foi observada a presença de Babesia spp. nas propriedades do Prado (3,0%), Jucuruçu (7,4%), e em São Sebastião do Passé (63,7%), sendo que nesse último município, foi igualmente observada uma elevada ocorrência de A. marginale (44,0%) inclusive com coinfecção (8,9%). Não foi detectada nenhum dos hemoparasitos causadores da TPB na propriedade em São Miguel das Matas. Esse estudo mostra a importância das análises citológicas de esfregaços sanguíneos na identificação desses hemoparasitas visando embasar medidas preventivas por parte das agências sanitárias do Estado no sentido de evitar a exposição de animais aos agentes da TPB.

It is noticeable that more and more medical professionals have been searching for strategies to keep people engaged both in the recovery processes (cognitive or physical) and in the teaching part. It is possible to observe that the insertion of Serious Games has been offering this innovative possibility, which allows the development of new possibilities for several areas of knowledge. This study aims to carry out a review on the use of Serious Games in Medicine, exploring how the method has been used. The methodology used was a systematic review. Articles published from 2015 to 2020 in indexed in three databases such as IEEE, Scopus, Scielo, among others, were searched. If used correctly, the Serious Games can help in the rehabilitation process of patients affected by some sequelae caused by stroke (CVA - Cerebral Vascular Accident), and also in the rehabilitation process of people with degenerative problems. It was also possible to observe that SG can be used as motivating and engaging tools for medical students. Se nota que cada vez son más los profesionales médicos que buscan estrategias para mantener a las personas involucradas tanto en los procesos de recuperación (cognitiva o física) como en la parte docente. Se puede observar que la inserción de Serious Games (SG) viene ofreciendo esta posibilidad innovadora, que permite el desarrollo de nuevas posibilidades para varias áreas del conocimiento. Este estudio tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión sobre el uso de SG en Medicina, explorando cómo se ha utilizado el método. La metodología utilizada fue una revisión sistemática. Se buscaron artículos publicados de 2015 a 2020 en bases de datos indexadas como IEEE, Scopus, Scielo, entre otras. Si se utiliza correctamente, el SG puede ayudar en el proceso de rehabilitación de pacientes afectados por algunas secuelas provocadas por ictus (ACV - Accidente Vascular Cerebral), y también en el proceso de rehabilitación de personas con problemas degenerativos. También fue posible observar que la SG se puede utilizar como herramienta motivadora y atractiva para los estudiantes de medicina. Nota-se que cada vez mais profissionais médicos buscam estratégias para manter as pessoas envolvidas tanto nos processos de recuperação (cognitiva ou física) quanto na parte pedagógica. Percebe-se que a inserção dos Serious Games (SG) tem oferecido essa possibilidade inovadora, que permite o desenvolvimento de novas possibilidades para diversas áreas do conhecimento. Este estudo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão sobre a utilização da GE na Medicina, explorando como o método tem sido utilizado. A metodologia utilizada foi uma revisão sistemática. Artigos publicados de 2015 a 2020 foram pesquisados ​​em bases de dados indexadas como IEEE, Scopus, Scielo, entre outras. Se usado corretamente, o GS pode auxiliar no processo de reabilitação de pacientes acometidos por alguma sequela do AVC (AVC - Acidente Vascular Cerebral), e também no processo de reabilitação de pessoas com problemas degenerativos. Também foi possível observar que o GE pode ser utilizado como uma ferramenta motivadora e atrativa para estudantes de medicina.

The eighteenth century in Portugal is marked by the development of an intellectual thought that tried to modernize not only anthe administrative machine, but the education and the knowledge production in the Metropolis and in its Colonies. The present work aims to contribute to the history of knowledge, more specifically, the contribution of the Portuguese Enlightenmentists to the educational assumptions as a conditioning element of the civilization process and the problems arising from the teachers' acting to the construction of this political and educational project of knowledge in the Northern Captaincies.Theoretically we will be guided by Norbert Elias when we think education as a conditioning in which men have become civilized in a historical process of teaching and learning that also became essential to the so-called development of manners and behaviors and directly responsible for the formation of a model of civilization and knowledge.As a methodological proposal we will be close to the perspective of the Social History of Knowledge of Peter Burke, because when we study the authors mentioned above, besides the Statute of the University of Coimbra and the Manuscripts of the Ultramarine Historical Archive we will analyze the practice, the reception and the behavior of the educational presuppositions of the Portuguese Enlightenment in the Captaincies of Pernambuco and annexes.From the documentary analysis we find that the educational presuppositions of the Portuguese Enlightenment had difficulties to be implanted in the colony, with that achieved few results in the Civilizing Process.

The second half of the eighteenth century in Portugal was a time of several changes for the kingdom and its colonies. The formulation of works debating education in the kingdom, the contributions of the Enlightenment and the rise of the Marquis of Pombal, mark some of the transformations that changed the administration of the kingdom and, consequently, the pedagogical scenario of the metropolis and its possessions. With the collaboration of Antonio Ribeiro Sanches, considered one of the Portuguese Enlightenment, and his work "Letters on Education of the Mocidade", the educational scene in the Portuguese metropolis undergoes changes that promote a new conception of public instruction and civility. The purpose of this article is to discuss the civilizing process, specifically analyzing the contributions of the Portuguese Enlightenment to the Pombaline Reforms of Education and investigating the changes in the educational system in the Northern Capitanias. Theoretically we will be guided by the German sociologist Norbert Elias, thinking education as a condition in which men have become civilized in a historical teaching-learning process that has also become essential to the so-called development of manners and behaviors responsible for the formation of a model of civilization, both in the Metropolis and in the colonies of America. As a methodological proposal, we approach the perspective of the Social History of Knowledge of the English historian Peter Burke, for analyzing the work of the Portuguese philosopher will analyze the practice, reception and behavior of the educational presuppositions of the Portuguese Enlightenment. From the analysis of Antonio Ribeiro Sanches we verified a modernizing and civilizing process in education.
