A study conducted between 2017 and 2023 analyzed 33 cases of patients, mostly men, aged 20-54, who exhibited various behaviors such as aggression, lethargy, and noncooperation after abusing a range of drugs. The patients had committed offenses and underwent forensic toxicological analyses, revealing the presence of multiple substances in their blood, leading to the conclusion that their behaviors were linked to drug abuse. The study highlighted the toxicities associated with drugs like alprazolam, amitriptyline, amfetamine, and others, emphasizing the importance of understanding the effects of substance abuse on behavior.
