A 26-year-old man developed hypogammaglobulinaemia while being treated with ocrelizumab for multiple sclerosis. He was referred to a tertiary center due to acute osteomyelitis of the left hip, likely linked to a complicated urinary tract infection. Despite treatment with antibiotics, his symptoms persisted and cultures came back negative. After further investigations, it was suggested that ocrelizumab may have contributed to the rare infection by depleting B-cells and causing hypogammaglobulinemia. Ocrelizumab was discontinued and immunoglobulin therapy was initiated. [Extracted from the article]
