Two case reports are presented in this article regarding liver injury in two men in their 50s who were undergoing treatment with capecitabine for rectal cancer. In the first case, the patient's liver function was affected, leading to elevated levels of AST and ALT. The patient's treatment was switched to fluorouracil.
