A 53-year-old man developed Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV)-associated monomorphic T-cell post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD) while undergoing treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia. Despite various medications, including rituximab, methylprednisolone, and foscarnet, the man's condition worsened, leading to his death due to EBV-associated monomorphic T-cell PTLD. The autopsy confirmed the cause of death as EBV-associated monomorphic T-cell PTLD and haemophagocytic syndrome (HPS), with multiple organs affected by the disorder.
