The article focuses on the clinical facets of sport psychology. In the last decade, physical fitness and athletic activity were given emphasis. Physical fitness and health were included in educational programs. With underscoring on winning and competition, school administrators, coaches, and physical education departments directed their energy into sports. This has prompted change in the behavior of the youth, who are often the competitors. They prefer to be handled individually and to have a voice on strategies they would like to implement in their sport of liking. This change affected coaches who are responsible for developing athletes.
