Abstract

The article offers information on Teenreads.com's "2009 Reader Survey," which was conducted between July 2 August 31. 4,073 respondents were able to complete the 77-question survey. Books were offered as rewards to respondents for completing the survey and submitting their contact information. Several Web sites that attract book groups and readers publicized the survey in a bid to reach a wider audience. Majority of the teen respondents lived in the U.S.
