A review is presented of the children's book "The Girl from the Tar Paper School: Barbara Rose Johns and the Advent of the Civil Rights Movement," by Teri Kanefield.
The article focuses on the publication of paperback best selling fiction and nonfiction books in the U.S. "Eat, Pray, Love," by Elizabeth Gilbert is still the best selling book overall for the week ending January 7, 2008. Berkley launched its new trade paper bestseller, "The Friday Night Knitting Club." A list of paperback books is presented.
