Based on a survey developed in three Brazilian state capitals, this paper presents data and interpretations about the sexual practices and management of sexual desire among male and female youth. The findings indicate a close connection between gender and sexuality in modeling individuals' sexual trajectories and subjectivities. There is a higher acceptance of practices formerly considered to be deviant, revealing that sexual morality among youth has acquired a more modern configuration. This paper argues that there is a differentiated modernization of sexual values: gender disparities were detected in the answers of respondents in all social environments. The increasing flexibility of individual trajectories does not necessarily lead to gender equality. The affirmation that the individualizing process coexists with the persistence of traditional gender ideology entails the recognition that men and women's, and different generations' and social segments' modernization paths do not evolve in the same way.

The paper reviews the current National Policy of Social Welfare in Brazil and the work developed with families within the Brazilian social protection approach. It describes the Unified System of Social Welfare and explores the relationship of the Basic Social Protection to the Bolsa Família Program, the Brazilian program of conditional cash transfer to vulnerable families. It discusses the principles of the methodology for working with vulnerable families in the Unified System of Social Welfare and analyzes examples of social interventions. It argues that the work developed with families must be based on participatory and dialogical approaches, including follow-up methods, group dynamics, action-research, and other interventions. The paper concludes with questions regarding the use of a socio-educational methodology as a component of policies for vulnerability reduction, social development and the promotion of citizenship.

El presente documento tiene como propósito explorar aportes de la psicología crítica al entendimiento de las dinámicas que se mueven en el mundo del trabajo y las organizaciones, y algunas críticas que esta aporta a la psicología organizacional y del trabajo moderna. Para tal fin, se plantean algunos elementos conceptuales de base para clarificar la acepción al respecto del concepto subjetividad y las implicaciones de la psicología crítica; igualmente se exponen algunas reflexiones que explicitan las formas en que el discurso psicológico -reflejado además en prácticas- está embebido en el mundo del trabajo y las organizaciones, y que en gran medida contribuye a construir las subjetividades de personas que trabajan, y las relaciones que se establecen al interior de las organizaciones de trabajo.O objetivo do presente documento é analisar as contribuições da psicologia crítica ao entendimento das dinâmicas envolvidas no mundo do trabalho e das organizações, assim como algumas críticas que tal ramo da psicologia fornece à psicologia organizacional e do trabalho moderno. Para tal fim, alguns elementos conceituais de base são propostos para esclarecer a acepção a respeito do conceito de subjetividade e as implicações da psicologia crítica; igualmente apresentam-se algumas reflexões que explicitam os modos como o discurso psicológico - representado ademais nas diferentes práticas - está embutido no mundo do trabalho e das organizações, e que, em grande medida, contribui à construção das subjetividades de pessoas que trabalham, assim como as relações que se estabelecem no interior das organizações de trabalho.This paper aims to explore contributions of critical psychology for the understanding of the dynamics that take place in the world of work and organizations, and some reviews that this psychology makes to the organizational psychology and modern work. To this end, some basic conceptual elements are proposed to clarify the meaning of the subjectivity concept and the implications of the critical psychology. This paper also presents some thoughts that make explicit the ways in which psychological discourse -furthermore, reflected in the practice- is embedded in the world of work and organizations, and greatly contributes for building the subjectivities of the working people, and the relationships established within working organizations.

O presente artigo analisa a trajetória e consolidação do Movimento de Mulheres Negras (MMN) na cena pública brasileira ao longo dos últimos trinta anos. Através de entrevistas com militantes pioneiras e participantes desse movimento social bem como de levantamento de fontes documentais, o estudo teve o intuito de compreender quais processos subjazem a constituição desse novo sujeito coletivo, seus dilemas e redes de solidariedade com outros movimentos sociais, o lugar das hierarquias de gênero e raça em suas reivindicações, além do seu processo de institucionalização/burocratização e sua articulação com o Estado brasileiro.This paper examines the trajectory and consolidation process of the Afro-Brazilian Women's Social Movement in the public sphere over the last thirty years. Trough interviews with activists and participants of this social movement as well as survey of documental sources, the study had the aim to understand those processes that underlying the constitution of these collective political subjects, and their dilemmas and solidarity networks with other social movements. Furthermore, this paper also discusses the role of hierarchies of gender and race in the Afro-Brazilian Women's Social Movement claims, and its process of institutionalization / bureaucratization along with its articulation with the Brazilian state.

A pobreza revela-se, no Brasil, como questão de primeira ordem. A Psicologia, inserida no campo social e cuja história aponta uma ação comprometida socialmente, não poderia ficar alheia a essa situação. O objetivo do presente trabalho é investigar as respostas que têm sido produzidas sobre essa questão, a partir do exame da literatura, buscando analisar as proposições e os limites e impactos das intervenções. Foi realizada uma pesquisa documental em três etapas: construção de um banco de dados com 312 publicações; recuperação dos resumos de 109 artigos; seleção, leitura e análise de 47 artigos. A produção acerca do tema é dispersa, heterogênea e possui interseção com outras áreas do conhecimento. Verifica-se um avanço na produção de conhecimento e atuação com populações pobres. No entanto, ainda é necessário construir teorias e técnicas inovadoras de trabalho, bem como compreender os limites estruturais dessa atuação.Poverty is a main theme in Brazil. Psychology, as a welfare profession, and given its historical concerns with social actions, could not be away from this theme. The purpose of this paper is to examine the literature on this subject, analyzing the propositions, the intervention's limits and impacts. We carried out a three stages document-based study: (1) online databases survey (312 papers identified); (2) 109 scientific abstracts accessed; (3) 47 scientific papers selected, read and analyzed. The production about the main theme (poverty) is dispersed, heterogeneous, and related to other fields of knowledge. In general, it appears that Psychology has improved the scientific production and experiences with poor population. However, it is necessary to build up theories and technical innovations and also to understand structural boundaries for professional practice.

El objetivo del presente trabajo es demostrar que existe un pensamiento psicológico en José Martí. Se señala el criterio martiano de la unidad de observación y reflexión como base de la ciencia, su pensamiento multilateral y sintético, su promoción explícita de la ciencia del espíritu, su concepción sobre la unidad de lo general, lo particular y lo individual en el hombre, sus ideas sobre el pensamiento, la imaginación, la inteligencia, la afectividad, sobre la unidad del conocimiento y el afecto y sobre el espíritu de los pueblos.O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar que existe um pensamento psicológico de José Martí. Destacam-se o critério martiano da unidade de observação e reflexão como base da ciência, o seu pensamento multilateral e sintético, sua promoção explícita da ciência do espírito, sua concepção sobre a unidade do geral, o particular e o individual no homem, suas ideias sobre o pensamento, a imaginação, a inteligência, a afetividade, sobre a unidade do conhecimento e do afeto e sobre o espírito dos povos.The aim of the present paper is to bring to light Marti's psychological ideas. The paper discusses Marti's concepts on the science of the spirit. It deals with his beliefs on the unity of observation and thinking as the basis of science; with his multilateral and synthetic thinking; with his ideas regarding the unity of the general, the particular and the individual in man; with his concepts of thinking, imagination and intelligence, moral and motivation; with his beliefs on the unity of cognition and affection, and with his ideas on the spirit of peoples.

Este trabalho propõe e analisa a Musicoterapia como estratégia de produção de saúde do trabalhador, em estudo desenvolvido junto a profissionais técnicas de enfermagem de uma Unidade de Terapia Intensiva infantil de um hospital público da cidade de Porto Alegre. A atenção à saúde dos trabalhadores produz novas questões teórico-conceituais, práticas, éticas e políticas no campo da Musicoterapia, ligadas ao território do trabalho e suas configurações contemporâneas, ao "ser" trabalhador e à saúde, e que têm implicações sobre a Musicoterapia e o musicoterapeuta na contemporaneidade. À luz das contribuições de Foucault, este trabalho centraliza-se na discussão do hospital como território de produção de subjetividades, a partir do desenvolvimento do conceito de 'Panáudio', mapeando e analisando efeitos deste dispositivo, que se efetivam pelos contextos sonoros. Aponta controles e resistências possíveis e propõe a produção de novas subjetividades pelo uso das práticas musicais em Musicoterapia em uma proposta de abordagem institucional.This paper proposes and analyzes Music Therapy as a production strategy towards workers' health in a study developed with nurse technicians from a Children's Intensive Care Center of a public hospital in Porto Alegre. The concern with workers' health brings about new theoretical, conceptual, ethical and political queries in the field of Music Therapy, such queries are related with the working field and its contemporary features, with the working being and with health; these queries produce consequences on Music Therapy and Music therapists contemporarily. Based on Foucault's contributions, this paper focuses on the discussion about hospitals being a field for subjectivities production, from the development of the 'Panaudio' concept, mapping and analyzing its effects, which are effective by sound contexts. This paper also points out possible controls and resistances and proposes the production of new subjectivities by using musical practices in Music Therapy, in a proposal of institutional approach.

En este trabajo, analizamos algunos procesos de negociación de significado y desarrollo de micropolíticas en las experiencias de docentes y directivos en una escuela normal mexicana con la reforma a la educación normal de 1997. En dicho plan de estudios se estipula que los estudiantes realicen prácticas escolares durante el último año de la carrera. El estudio se enfocó en las actividades que realizaron los docentes de manera previa a las prácticas del preservicio con la primera generación de estudiantes del plan de 1997 de la Licenciatura en Educación Primaria. En el artículo mostramos cómo los docentes y el personal directivo de la normal del estudio, transitaron por un proceso de negociación de significado y generación de micropolíticas en su relación con la propuesta curricular nacional y la forma en que se organizaron bajo un esquema que concebimos como comunidad de práctica cultivada.Neste trabalho analisamos alguns processos de negociação de significado e desenvolvimento de micro-políticas nas experiências dos docentes e autoridades em uma escola normal mexicana após a reforma à educação normal de 1997. Neste programa de estudos estipula-se que os estudantes realizem os estágios escolares durante o último ano da faculdade. O estudo foi focado nas atividades que realizaram os docentes de forma prévia aos estágios do pré-serviço com a primeira geração de estudantes do plano de 1997 do Bacharelado em Educação Primária (Ensino Básico). No artigo mostramos como os docentes e autoridades da normal do estudo, transitaram por um processo de negociação de significado e geração de micro-política na sua realização com a proposta curricular nacional e a maneira com a qual foram organizados, sob um esquema que concebemos como comunidade de prática cultivada.In this paper, we analyze the experiences of teachers and principals in a Mexican teachers' college following the teacher education reform of 1997. In the aforementioned study program, it is stipulated that students undertake practice in schools during the final year of their degree course. The study focuses on the activities carried out by teachers prior to the pre-service practice with the first generation of students from the 1997 Primary Education degree program. In the paper, we show how the teachers and administrative staff at the teachers' college have adapted by means of a process of negotiation of meaning and the generation of micropolitics in their relationship with the national proposal, and the way in which they are organized as part of a scheme that we conceive as community of practice cultivated.

Trata-se de levantamento de artigos publicados em Psicologia Organizacional e do Trabalho (POT), de 2001 a 2005, nas revistas brasileiras: Estudos de Psicologia, Psicologia e Sociedade, Psicologia em Estudo, Psicologia: Reflexão e Crítica, Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa, Psicologia USP, e Psicologia: Organizações e Trabalho. A análise considerou número de artigos, temas, metodologia, referências, formação profissional e área de atuação dos autores. De 1105 textos publicados, 178 (16%) foram em POT. Os artigos foram classificados em nove categorias temáticas. Do total de artigos analisados, 30% eram teóricos e 70% empíricos. A maioria dos autores é de psicólogos e está vinculada às universidades. Dentre os principais resultados, destacam-se a diversidade temática e metodológica da produção científica em POT, bem como a preocupação em contemplar as mudanças sociais, econômicas, políticas e tecnológicas. A produção de conhecimento está voltada tanto para subsidiar intervenções como para impulsionar o desenvolvimento teórico da área.This paper is a survey about Work and Organizational Psychology (WOP) of articles published from 2001 to 2005 in the following Brazilian journals: Estudos de Psicologia, Psicologia e Sociedade, Psicologia em Estudo, Psicologia: Reflexão e Crítica, Psicologia: Teoria e Pesquisa, Psicologia USP, and Psicologia: Organizações e Trabalho. The analysis examined the number of papers, themes, methodology, references, professional education and the authors' area of practice. Out of 1105 published papers, 178 (16%) were on WOP. The papers were classified in nine theme categories. From the total amount of papers analyzed, 30% were theoretical and 70% empirical. Most authors are psychologists and are connected to universities. Among the main results, it was highlighted the thematic and methodological diversity of scientific production on WOP as well as the concern on social, economic, political and technological changes. The knowledge production provides data for interventions as well as for improving theoretical development of this area.

A partir da temática geral do XI Simpósio da ANPEPP"Maneiras de pesquisar no cotidiano: contribuições para a formação em pesquisa em Psicologia", e tendo em vista a participação do autor no GT "Cotidiano e Práticas Sociais" da ANPEPP, este texto busca descrever a prática de formação em pesquisa a partir da teoria do ator-rede. Após efetuar a recensão de um texto de Bruno Latour, um diálogo entre um professor e um aluno em que são expostas as principais características da prática de pesquisa no âmbito desta abordagem, o autor busca precisar o posicionamento epistemológico-metodológico da referida teoria assim como suas raízes fundadas na filosofia pragmática, descrevendo sucintamente algumas proposições de William James e John Dewey.Using the actor-network theory, this paper describes the practices of becoming educated in research, based on the general subject of the XI ANPPEP Symposium "Ways of searching in everyday life: contributions to the formation of research in Psychology", considering that the author was a participant in the ANPEPP work group "Everyday life and Social Practices". After summarizing a paper of Bruno Latour, a dialogue between a professor and a student in which the main characteristics of the research practice in this approach are outlined, the author exposes in a more accurate manner the epistemological and methodological positioning of the referred theory and its pragmatic philosophical roots, describing briefly some propositions of William James and John Dewey.

Diante das atuais transformações no mundo do trabalho, tornou-se essencial aprofundar o debate sobre a relação entre trabalho e saúde/saúde mental, bem como sobre o reconhecimento dessa relação, de modo a garantir amparo legal ao trabalhador e, principalmente, trazer subsídios para a busca de mudanças nas situações de trabalho. Este artigo se propõe: discutir este tema, pontuando as dificuldades para se estabelecerem relações entre determinados aspectos do trabalho e o adoecimento; apontar alguns limites e expectativas, bem como a necessidade de diálogos que permitam avançar tanto do ponto de vista teórico como também em relação à aplicação prática dos conhecimentos produzidos. Pretende, enfim, chamar a atenção para o trabalho como categoria fundamental à compreensão da subjetividade e do processo saúde/doença mental.Considering the changes that are taking place nowadays in the world of work, it became essential to deepen the debate on the existing relationship between labor and health/mental health, and also on its recognition, in order to guarantee legal support for workers, and mainly to bring contributions in search of transformations in labor situations. The purposes of this paper are: to argue that topic, pointing out the difficulties of determining connections between certain aspects of work and falling ill; to indicate some limits and expectations, as well as the necessity of interlocutions that enable advances both in theoretical terms and on what concerns to practical application of the knowledge generated. So, this paper intends to put in relief that work is fundamental to understand subjectivity and the mental health/ disease process.

O presente trabalho debate a relação da teoria desenvolvida por Sílvia Lane com os autores soviéticos, em particular com Vygotsky e Leontiev. No trabalho se analisam os diferentes momentos do pensamento de Sílvia Lane, especificando suas contribuições para o desenvolvimento de uma psicologia social comprometida com a realidade social brasileira, assim como com a elaboração de categorias e problemas de relevância geral para a psicologia.The present paper discusses the link between Lane's theory and soviet authors, particularly Vygotsky and Leontiev. In this paper the different moments of Lane's thinking specifying her contributions for the development of a social psycology involved with Brazilian reality as well as the elaboration of categories and problems of general relevance to psychology are analyzed.

O texto apresenta o corpo teórico-metodológico que Sílvia Lane criou, ressaltando os seus pressupostos epistemológicos e ontológicos e demarcando os grandes momentos do seu processo de configuração. Um processo dialético que avança incorporando novos conhecimentos sem abandonar o anterior, mas unindo-os na produção de algo novo. Essa metodologia "prático-crítica-revolucionária, inicialmente intuitiva, foi se burilando cientificamente a partir de pesquisas empíricas, segundo Lane, fundamentais para a crítica dos conceitos e avanço da teoria. A tarefa do texto é fácil porque Sílvia registrou cada mudança em seus principais interesses, categorias analíticas e reflexões filosóficas, em seus livros. São quatro os momentos a serem destacados, todos eles de aprofundamento da sua radical superação teórica: a transição de um referencial configurado na interface entre Lewin, Mead, Skinner ao marxismo: (a) dos anos 70, marcado pelo diálogo privilegiado com a teoria das representações e pela preocupação com a linguagem e grupos sociais; (b) dos anos 80, momento das vigorosas reflexões sobre uma nova concepção de homem para a psicologia, com ênfase nas categorias de consciência e alienação, orientada pela escola de psicologia soviética e por neo-marxistas (Politzer e Heller); (c) dos anos 90, caracterizado pela reflexão sobre o papel da subjetividade/afetividade na conscientização social e na ação transformadora, superando o aprisionamento do sujeito à exterioridade e à pura repetição e o expurgo da singularidade, e pela reafirmação da pesquisa participante e da práxis comunitária; (d) a do novo milênio, dedicado a desvelar os segredos da criatividade humana. Emoção, arte e criação são os temas que passaram a mediar a sua incessante reflexão crítica das teorias e das conseqüências práticas da psicologia para a condição social da América Latina. Espera-se, assim, apresentar a processualidade de sua concepção-compromisso de ciência em busca do conhecimento da existência humana sem suturas.The paper presents the base of Sílvia Lane's theoretical-methodological work, highlighting its ontological and epistemological presumptions and delineating the grand moments of its configuration process. The dialectic process that advances incorporating new knowledge without abandoning the previous, but uniting it in producing something new. This "pragmatic-critical-revolutionary" methodology, initially intuitive, became scientifically chiseled out from empirical research, according to Lane, fundamental for criticizing the concepts and advancing the theory. The task of the text is easy because Sílvia registered in her books each change of her principal interests, analytical categories and philosophical reflections. There are four moments to be highlighted. All of them make a profound study of her radical theoretical overcome: the transition of a configured reference in the interface between Lewin, Mead, Skinner to Marxism: 1) from the 70's, marked by the privileged dialogue with representations theory and with concerns with language and social groups; 2) from the 80's, a time of vigorous reflections on a new conception of man for psychology, with emphasis on the categories of consciences and alienation, orientated by soviet psychology and neo-marxism (Politzer and Heller); 3) from the 90's, characterized by the reflection on the role of subjectivity/affectivity on social awareness and on transformative action, overcoming the subject's imprisonment to exteriority and to pure repetition and the purge of singularity, and by reaffirming participant research and community praxis; 4) from the new millennium, dedicated to unveil the secrets of human creativity. Emotion, art and creativity were the themes that became to mediate her incessant critical thoughts on psychology's theories and practical consequences for Latin America's social condition. Thus, this paper hopes to present the process of her conception-compromise of science in search of the knowledge of boundless human existence.

O presente texto aborda questões relativas à construção da psicologia social comunitária no Brasil e as interfaces deste processo histórico com a formação profissional. Para tanto, apóia-se em dados sobre o contexto histórico e social brasileiro no decorrer da efetivação das práticas psicológicas em comunidades. Finalmente, o estudo propõe reflexões quanto ao descompasso entre a formação e os fenômenos sociais contemporâneos.The following paper approaches issues related to the Community Social Psychology's construction in Brazil and the interactions of this historical process with the professional preparation. For this purpose, the Brazilian historical and social context is taken into consideration in order to reach effective psychological practices in communities. In addition, it associates Community Social Psychology's characteristics with the professional preparation and the Psychology's construction. Finally, this paper considers reflections about the professional preparation and contemporaries social phenomena.

O presente artigo tem por objetivo tecer considerações acerca da importância e possibilidade de promover fatores de proteção ao adolescente em conflito com a lei no contexto de aplicação de medida sócioeducativa. Tomando como referência a Doutrina da Proteção Integral - eixo central do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente -, o Paradigma da Promoção da Saúde e estudos sobre resiliência, postula-se a existência de alguns fatores considerados de grande relevância ao desenvolvimento dos adolescentes, visando modificar o quadro de vulnerabilidade ao qual encontram-se associados. Sugere que a ênfase nos aspectos saudáveis do desenvolvimento favorece a emergência do potencial positivo do qual todo contexto sócioeducativo deve ser revestido, a fim de possibilitar a construção de novas perspectivas aos jovens em risco social.The purpose of this article is to make certain considerations regarding the importance and possibility of promoting protection factors to adolescents in conflict with the law within the context of applying social and educational measures. Using the Integral Protection Doctrine as a doctrinal reference - the core theme of the Statute of the Child and Adolescent - and the Paradigm of Health Promotion along with studies on development and resilience, this paper postulates the existence of certain factors considered highly relevant to the development of adolescents, seeking to modify the situation of vulnerability in which they find themselves. The paper suggests that an emphasis on health aspects of development favor the emergence of a positive potential that should be included throughout the social-educational context, so as to enable the construction of new perspectives by socially at risk youth.

O termo ''pesquisa de campo'' é normalmente empregado na Psicologia Social para descrever um tipo de pesquisa feito nos lugares da vida cotidiana e fora do laboratório ou da sala de entrevista. Nesta ótica, o pesquisador ou pesquisadora vai ao campo para coletar dados que serão depois analisados utilizando uma variedade de métodos tanto para a coleta quanto para a análise. Neste texto, relatamos as conclusões iniciais de uma série de discussões sobre pesquisas de campo feita numa perspectiva pós-construcionista. Partindo das dificuldades provocadas por uma noção de campo fisicamente determinada, a discussão retoma a perspectiva de Kurt Lewin sobre o campo como totalidade de fatos psicológicos, para depois se aproximar das propostas de Ian Hacking sobre ''matriz'' e a discussão mais ampla sobre materialidades. A conseqüência desta reflexão foi a proposição de um ''campo-tema'' onde o campo não é mais um lugar específico, mas se refere à processualidade de temas situados. O texto conclui com uma discussão sobre algumas implicações desta proposta para o processo de pesquisa e para as práticas narrativas usadas para relatar as suas conclusões.The expression ''field research'' is normally used in social psychology to describe a type of research that is carried out outside the laboratory and in the places where everyday action takes place. In this approach, the researcher will go ''to the field'' in order to collect data that will later be analyzed and in order to do this a variety of different methods will be used, both to gather the data and to examine it. This paper reports on the initial conclusions from a series of discussions held on field research, taking as a starting point a post-constructionist perspective. Beginning with the difficulties created by the notion of ''field'' as physically determined and separate, the debate moved on to consider the arguments of Kurt Lewin in favor of a notion of psychological field in which the field is the totality of psychological facts, before settling with the notion of matrix as proposed by Ian Hacking and the wider discussion of materiality. The result was the proposal of the notion of ''theme-field'', in which field is no longer a specific place but refers to the processuality of situated themes. The paper ends by considering the implications of this approach for the research process and for the narrative practices that are used to describe it and to discuss its conclusions.

Abstract Transphobia and discrimination against trans people are widespread. In view of growing scientific interest in understanding this type of discrimination and considering that scientific knowledge shapes the way a phenomenon is understood and addressed, this paper aims at identifying theoretical perspectives and categories used in contemporary scientific research (2005-2016) to explain discrimination against trans people. A review of literature and a qualitative content analysis of the selected documents (N = 68) were carried out. Two broad theoretical perspectives were identified: cognitive approaches and discursive approaches. The limitations of the two approaches are discussed in terms of how the problem of transphobia and discrimination is framed and explained and the scope for action offered. To overcome such limitations, a conceptual distinction between gendered practices and transphobic attitudes and ideology is suggested and an alternative theoretical proposal using discursive psychology is presented.

O presente artigo se propõe questionar sobre o espaço político aberto pela leitura literária. Especificando a literatura como uma tentativa de compreensão de problemas relacionados à existência, sublinhamos como a leitura literária coloca em questão nossas convicções e verdades defendidas cotidianamente. Para tanto, compreendemos as relações tecidas entre a linguagem, o poder e a resistência no seio da experiência literária. Concluímos que a leitura literária é atravessada por formas de resistência às palavras de ordem que circulam de forma hegemônica em nossa sociedade, disponibilizando assim uma transformação em nossa rede afetiva e cognitiva.This paper analyzes the political space opened by the literary reading. Specifying literature as an attempt of understanding of problems related to the existence, we underline as the literary reading daily places in question our defended certainties and truths. For in such a way, we understand the relations between the language, the power and the resistance in the literary experience. We conclude that the literary reading is crossed by forms of resistance to the words of order that circulate of hegemonic form in our society, disposing a transformation in our affective and cognitive net.

O presente artigo coloca em pauta uma reflexão cujo objetivo é discorrer sobre os modos de trabalhar e de viver na vida líquido-moderna. Para tanto, apresenta o Slow Movement como referência de análise. Divulgado como movimento mundial em prol da desaceleração, sua proposta difundiu-se e firmou-se ao acolher a sensação generalizada de esgotamento promovida pela vida líquida, conforme preconizada por Bauman (2007). Objetiva-se compreender se e como o Slow Movement possibilita uma outra experimentação do tempo, bem como se interpõe enquanto expressão da resistência aos atuais modos de trabalhar e de viver. A análise empreendida permite perceber que o Slow Movement, apesar de se apresentar como um modo de expressão da resistência frente à aceleração, mantém-se subordinado à ideologia gerencialista (Gaulejac, 2007) que caracteriza os atuais modos de trabalhar. Desse modo, o movimento contribui para apaziguar os sofrimentos psíquicos causados pela pressão do tempo, mas não para a sua revolução.The following paper aims at describing work and life in the liquid modern life. For that matter the Slow Movement is presented as an analysis reference. Advertised as a world movement towards a slower time, its proposition has spread and been recognized as it acknowledges the feeling of hopelessness brought up by the liquid life, as described by Bauman (2007). The objective is to understand if and how the Slow Movement leads to a different experimentation of time, as well as if it is an expression of resistance to the current ways of working and living. The analysis proposes that although the Slow Movement presents itself as a resistance to the current acceleration, it is still linked to a managerial ideology (Gaulejac, 2007). Thus, the movement contributes to peace the psychological damages caused by the pressures of time, although it doesn't operate as a revolution.

This paper problematizes the Brazilian Social Psychology and its knowledge production on the registers of the Work Group (WG) of symposiums of the National Association of Research and Post-Graduation in Psychology (ANPEPP), during 1988 to 2010. Using Michel Foucault's archeo-genealogical perspective and the contributions by Ian Hacking about the historical ontology of subjects, we analyzed technologies of power and knowledge in the disciplines of Social Psychology. We selected the WG abstracts in which circulate the utterances that make up the discursive field of Brazilian Social Psychology. Using the narrative of WGs we outlined a discursive formation of identities/technologies of the subject. The knowledges of Social Psychology in the history of the ANPEPP's WGs contribute to the constitution of categories and psychological classifications which objectivize subjects. We think Social Psychology, in its criticisms related to psychological and social concepts comprises practices and regimes of truth about the subject of Social Psychology.

En este trabajo se plantea repensar algunas cuestiones acerca de como nos aproximamos a la vejez hoy, haciendo la observación de que pasamos de términos relativamente claros (vejez y envejecimiento) a una polisemia de conceptos que entran dentro de lo que denomino paradigmas anacrónicos o ambiguos. Insisto que la cuestión Del envejecimiento fue substituida probablemente por una estética no decrépita, como parte de una versión del "cuidado de si" de Foucault. Menciono la construcción de nuevas formas de subjetividad - lo transetario - intentando localizar el problema del envejecimiento dentro de parámetros más amplios sociales y culturales.Neste artigo procura-se repensar algumas questões de como nos aproximamos da velhice hoje, observando que passamos de termos relativamente claros (velhice e envelhecimento) a uma polissemia de conceitos que caem dentro do que eu chamo paradigmas anacrônicos ou ambíguos. Insisto que a questão do envelhecimento é substituída provavelmente por uma estética não decrépita, como parte de uma versão do "cuidado do si" do Foucault. Menciono a construção de novas formas de subjetividade - o transetário - tentando localizar o problema do envelhecimento dentro de parâmetros mais amplos sociais e culturais.This paper attempts to rethink some issues about how we address the issue of old age today, showing that we have gone from relatively clear terms (old age and aging) to others high polisemic terms, as part of that I call anachronistic or ambiguous paradigms. I insist on the theme that the subjectivity of aging is probably replaced with a series of not decrepit aesthetic as a version of the Foucaultian Self Care. I mention new ways of construction of subjectivity -the trans-aged- trying to locate the problem of aging within cultural and social parameters.

The aim of this paper is to describe how the social identity and the emotional climate relate to each other in a rural community, assuming that both constructs are psychological indicators of a healthy collective functioning and that they are somehow affected by the social and political situation of the in-group. For this purpose, a research was undertaken in a rural community of 200 households, where 80 villagers were surveyed. The results suggest that a climate of confidence plays a central role in the constitution of collective identification. They also show that, the greater the perception of this climate is, the more a positive collective self-stereotype, and a greater valuation of belonging to the community, predominate. On the other hand, a climate of low confidence weakens the identification with the community to the extent that it is associated to a lesser valuation and negative self-stereotypical beliefs regarding the community members.

Este artigo se propõe a apresentar o fragmento de um estudo realizado em torno da brincadeira de pipas - atividade lúdica tradicional que se mantém em nossos dias entre crianças e jovens -, mobilizando controvérsias metodológicas eliciadas em campo sobre a postura do pesquisador, sobre o papel dos atores enquanto coautores de nossas histórias e sobre as implicações éticas de nossas escolhas na maneira de abordar nossos pesquisados. Utilizamos como fundamento teórico-metodológico a Teoria Ator-Rede, buscando exercitar uma prática de pesquisa apoiada na necessária polidez inerente à construção do conhecimento, ideia defendida por Despret e por Latour. Para esses autores, uma pesquisa só valeria a pena se, ao seu final, as partes envolvidas tivessem se diferenciado em relação a como eram em seu início.This paper intends to present a fragment of a study about the popular kite trick - traditional playful activity that survives in our days among children and young people - mobilizing methodological controversies found in research field and placing in check the position of researchers, the actors roles while co-authors of our histories and ethical implications of our choices in the way to approach our searched. We have used Actor-Network Theory as theoretician methodological bedding, searching to exercise one practice of research supported in a necessary and inherent courtesy to the construction of the knowledge, idea defended by Despret and Latour. For these authors, one research would be valid only if, at its end, the involved parts would have been differentiated in relation as they were in its beginning.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze child labour implications for adults who experienced that process when they were children or adolescents. To this end, we used as tool the Historical-Cultural Psychology approach. Five adults who were child labourers participated of this research. Their children were enrolled or egressed to the Program for the Eradication of Child Labour - PETI, and access to these participants occurred by means of the Reference Center for Social Support - CRAS. The saturation criterion (Minayo, 2008) was applied to delimit the number of participants. Open-interviews with life story elements were used as instruments. Data analysis was carried out through the trees of association of ideas (Spink, 2004). As a result, participants reported that early labour broughtmplications for schooling and health, in addition to losing childhood, and also brought difficulties to obtain employment in the current life.

This article reviews the national and international literature on drug policy, focusing on harm reduction strategies and their impact on the development of children and youth in Brazil. Without using statistical criteria, this paper develops an overview of the current context and discusses the trends in the literature through an exploratory analysis of production and a non-exhaustive bibliography. The results showed that state investment in public policies for the treatment and prevention of drug abuse is recent. In addition, harm reduction is still a little known and controversial strategy, especially among children and adolescents.

Discutem-se os tipos de Violência Sexual (VS) sofridos na infância e/ou adolescência e suas vicissitudes, nas trajetórias sexuais de 236 adolescentes, de ambos os sexos, cursando o Ensino Médio no interior do Oeste Paulista que declararam ter sofrido um ou mais tipos de violência sexual. Dentre esses tipos, destacamos a Violência Doméstica Sexual (VDS), aqui definida como intrafamiliar. Nesse caso, observamos que, dentre os 236 adolescentes com histórico de VDS, 94 (39.8%) declararam ter pensado em suicídio e 39 (16.5%) disseram ter tentado, sendo que 35 (89.7%) deles se declararam heterossexuais (27 [77.1%] do sexo feminino) e 4 não-heterossexuais (3 bissexuais e 1 "outro", sendo todos do sexo feminino). A maioria das vítimas finda por relatar o ocorrido aos amigos e responsáveis, mas pouco ou nada é feito, em termos de medidas protetivas a elas.This paper aims to discuss the types of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) occurred in childhood and/or adolescence and their consequences in a sample of 236 high school students of both sexes living in the countryside of the State of São Paulo, Brazil, who declared to have suffered one or more types of CSA. We observed that among the 234 adolescents with report of SV, 39 (16.5%) declared to have attempted suicide, being 35 (89.7%) of them auto declared heterosexual (27 [77.1%] female) and 4 (19.0%) non-heterosexual (3 bisexuals and 1 "other"; all female). Most of the victims reported the event to their friends and adults in charge, but little (or nothing) was done in terms of protective measures to them.

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a aprendizagem da atenção nas práticas de estudo dos estudantes de psicologia na contemporaneidade. Ao invés de apresentar as transformações em relação às práticas tradicionais em termos de déficit ou de falta, procuramos investigar algumas das novas formações subjetivas/cognitivas que vêm surgindo, sobretudo em função do acoplamento com as novas tecnologias. Buscamos desenhar uma cartografia da cognição contemporânea realizando entrevistas com estudantes de psicologia do município do Rio de Janeiro, utilizando a técnica da explicitação. A presença do computador-internet nas práticas de estudo, ao fazer parte do cotidiano desses estudantes, concorre por um lado para a produção de uma atenção saltitante e sem ritmo que se desdobra numa atenção suficiente e numa atenção dividida. Por outro lado, há indícios do surgimento de uma política cognitiva curiosa e desejosa de saber, que pode gerar diferentes resultados.The objective of this paper is to analyze the learning of attention in the practices of study of psychology students in contemporaneity. We chose to investigate some of the new subjective / cognitive formations that are emerging instead of presenting the changes in relation to traditional practices in terms of deficit. We have built a cartography of the contemporary cognition by using interviews with psychology students from Rio de Janeiro. In order to accomplish that, we used the explicitation technique. The presence of the computer-internet in the daily lives of these students and therefore on their practices of study, contributes to produce a skipping attention and an attention without rhythm, which will be transformed on a sufficient attention and divided attention. On the other hand, there are evidences of a cognitive policy that is curious and eager to learn, which can produce different results.

A internet se apresenta como um novo espaço de reconfiguração das relações sociais, por isso jovens com transtornos alimentares vêm utilizando-a como forma de expressão, através das comunidades pró-anorexia e bulimia. Este artigo visa compreender a diferença entre o discurso hegemônico e a crença destas jovens, a partir das teorias antropológicas sobre a influência da cultura na saúde e na doença, da teoria da bioascese e das teorias feministas. Usando a interpretação de sentidos, percebe-se que os transtornos alimentares são considerados estilos de vida, nos quais se busca fugir ao sofrimento através do controle dos corpos e dos desejos. Há uma trama entre controle, poder e dominação, no qual as jovens pleiteiam autonomia e independência, a sociedade define e normatiza seus corpos, e dessa forma, impõem uma dominação, e os profissionais, baseados nos discursos da saúde, intentam ensiná-las como controlá-los, exercendo, de certa forma, um poder sobre o outro.The internet is a new space of reconfiguration of the social relationship therefore young people with eating disorders have been using the net as a way of expressing themselves, through the pro-anorexia and bulimia communities. This paper attempt to understand the difference between hegemonic approaches and the belief of these young people, from anthropological theories about the health and the disease, the bioascese and feminist theories. Using the interpretation of meanings it's noticed that the eating disorders are considered lifestyles whereby we seek to escape the suffering through the control of bodies and desires. There is a plot between control, power and domination, in which young people plead for autonomy and independence, the society defines and regulates their bodies, and thus impose a domination, and the professionals having the health discourses as bases, intend to teach them how to control their bodies, exerting somewhat a power over the other.

Teacher Professional Identity is today an autonomous theoretical construct. The paper explores the dimensions of TPI stressed in psychological and educational research, presenting different answers provided to questions such as: Which dimensions have been taken into account to define what a teacher is? The image of teachers actually emerging from literature analysis points out vectors of tension between "mainstream" Social Representations of teacher and everyday experience; between different perceptions of TPI; between established practices and innovation in teaching; between technical rationalist assumptions and lived experience of teachers' job, involving ethical and emotional nature of teaching; and, definitely, between "reality-as-it-is" and "reality-to-be" in teaching. These questions are closely connected to the wider social debate on the future of education. Asking what a teacher is also implies questions about what a "good" teacher is, what should be and, consequently, what are the role and the Social Representations of teachers in society.

Este trabalho tece algumas análises de uma pesquisa-intervenção em constituição na Faculdade de Formação de Professores da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - FFP/UERJ. Produz problematizações da experiência forjada no território de encontro entre universidade e escola básica. Para tanto, primeiro estuda o conceito de formação inventiva de professores. Em seguida, toma como referência os últimos escritos de Michel Foucault para analisar a noção de parresía e como ela funciona a favor de uma formação inventiva. Para finalizar, expressa encontros e conversas que acontecem entre universidade e escola básica para a criação de territórios de pensamentos que mantêm a intensa relação entre conhecimento e vida. O texto mostra os desafios de potencializar os movimentos inventivos e as singularidades que fazem formação e escola básica falarem por elas mesmas, lidando com as imprevisibilidades e a intensidade da vida.This paper presents some analysis of an intervention research in constitution at the School of Theachers Formation at the State University of Rio de Janeiro - FFP/UERJ. It constitutes the problematization of forged experience between university and elementary school. Thereunto, first it studies the concept of inventive formation of teachers. Then, it takes as reference the last writings of Michael Foucault to analyse the notion of parrhesia and how it work in favor of a inventive formation. To finish, it express the encounters and conversations that happen between university and elementary school for the creation of thought territories that maintain an intense relationship between knowledge and life. This text the shows the challenges of potentializing inventive movements and the singularities that make formation and school speak by themselves, dealing with life intensity and unpredictability.

No presente artigo, estuda-se como as técnicas de poder disciplinares apresentadas por Foucault em Vigiar e punir (1975) se relacionam com os dispositivos de segurança, analisados em Segurança, território, população (1978). A tese de Foucault em 1975 é que a circularidade da delinquência é produzida e alimentada pelas práticas disciplinares; mas somente a partir de 1978, no curso Segurança, território, população, pode-se deduzir conceitualmente que aquela circularidade corresponde a uma maneira de governar que permite e tolera a delinquência em sua realidade e em seu curso para, posteriormente, regulá-la mediante o uso de dispositivos de segurança que reforçam o poder do Estado. A conclusão é que, neste caso, os dispositivos de segurança não substituem as disciplinas, mas as reconfiguram a partir de uma nova economia do poder.In this paper, we study how the techniques of disciplinary power presented by Foucault in Discipline and Punish (1975) relate to the apparatuses of security, analyzed in Security, territory, population (1978). Foucault's thesis in1975 is that the circularity of delinquency is produced and increased by disciplinary practices. But only from1978, in the course Security, territory, population, one can deduce that this circularity conceptually corresponds to a way of government that allows and tolerates delinquency in their reality and in its course to then control it through the use of apparatuses of security that reinforce the power of the state. The conclusion is that in this case, the apparatuses of security do not replace the disciplines, but its reconfigure them from a new economy of power.

Como uma forma de efetivar os princípios, as bases e as diretrizes propostas pelo SUS no cotidiano das práticas de atenção e de gestão, em 2003, o Ministério da Saúde instituiu a Política Nacional de Humanização. Considerando o que preconiza essa política, este trabalho visa problematizar o lugar do psicólogo na gestão de um hospital da rede pública de Brasília. Discute-se a importância da formação do psicólogo, a qual deve se pautar em referenciais teóricos que permitam uma prática mais comprometida com as instituicões/organizaçoes de saúde pública sempre contextualizadas cultural, social, política e economicamente com a realidade de nossa população.As a way to give effect to the principles, basis and guidelines proposed by SUS in the daily practices of care and management, in 2003 the Brazilian Ministry of Health created the National Policy of Humanization. Whereas advocating this policy, this paper aims to problematize the place of the psychologist in the management of a public hospital in Brasilia. It discusses the importance of the psychologist's education, which must be guided in a theoretical framework allowing the practice as more committed to the institutions/organizations of public health contextualized culturally, socially, politically and economically with the reality of our population.

O Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente determina que toda criança e adolescente têm direito à convivência familiar e comunitária. A defesa, garantia e promoção desse direito tem ocorrido a partir de programas governamentais e não-governamentais, através de uma das modalidades de atendimento da Assistência Social Brasileira: Proteção Social Especial. O objetivo deste trabalho é discutir sobre as políticas de garantia desse direito, a partir de programas que visam à preservação e à reinserção familiar. Pode-se constatar que a legislação brasileira vigente busca atender crianças e adolescentes em situação de vulnerabilidade, e que existem programas direcionados a esta população, contudo ainda são escassos. Assim, discute-se a importância da construção de programas de atenção a esta população e suas famílias e da formação de equipes profissionais capacitadas para este trabalho, efetivando o direito à convivência familiar e comunitária.The Child and Adolescent Statute determines that all children and adolescents have the right to live in a family and community environment. The defense, guarantee and promotion of this right have happened through governmental and non-governmental programs, through one of the services provided by the Brazilian Social Assistance, called Special Social Protection. The goal of this article is to discuss about public policies that guarantee such right through programs which aim family reunification and preservation. The Brazilian law goals to attend of children and adolescents at vulnerability conditions, and there are programs towards this population, although they still are scarce. Thus, this paper discusses the importance of creating programs that focus on this population and their families, as well as training professional staff to enable such work, in order to ensure that the right to live in a family and community environment is kept.

O trabalho versa sobre uma pesquisa na qual se buscou verificar a relação entre o Trabalho Infantil Doméstico e o processo de escolarização. Participaram 100 sujeitos de ambos os sexos, na faixa compreendida entre os 07 e 18 anos de idade. Utilizaram-se dois instrumentos: o primeiro identificava se a criança ou o adolescente eram trabalhadores, e o segundo constituía-se um instrumento composto de questões abertas e fechadas. Para análise, utilizou-se a Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin, a Estatística Descritiva e o software SPSS. Os resultados revelaram que 80,0% dos participantes apresentavam repetência escolar e 85,0% defasagem escolar; que o maior motivo da repetência era a dificuldade com a estrutura escolar. Conclui-se, então, que há implicações do trabalho executado no processo de escolarização, sendo a relação entre trabalho doméstico e processo de escolarização de influência mútua.The paper reports on a research that aimed to verify the relation between domestic child labour and the scholarship process. The research had the participation of 100 subjects from both sexes, with ages between 07 and 18 years old. It was used two instruments: the first identified if the child or the adolescent were workers, and the second was a questionnaire composed by open and closed questions. To analyse data, it was used analysis of contents of Bardin, Descriptive Statistical and the software SPSS. Results reveal that 80,0% of the subjects have repeated at school, and 85,0% have low scholar performance; and the biggest reason for repetition was the difficulty with scholar structure. It is concluded, then, that there are implications of the work executed in scholarship process and the relation between domestic labour and scholarship process influence one another.

Este artigo busca questionar o estatuto de verdade de nossas práticas e de nossos saberes. Tomando como referência o pensamento foucaultiano, esta reflexão pretende suscitar um questionamento acerca das instituições de contenção, que abrangem tanto os discursos que as produzem quanto a própria distribuição espacial desses lugares. Em especial, colocamos em questão como as práticas sustentadas pelo discurso jurídico e científico são produtoras de verdade; entretanto, aqui procuraremos relativizar essa verdade, através de sua desconstrução. Problematizam-se essas questões a partir da experiência da participação em audiências de jovens em conflito com a lei e de visitas à unidade da internação provisória da Fundação de Atendimento Socioeducativo (FASE-RS). Este artigo parte da experiência do campo de pesquisa de uma tese de doutorado em Psicologia pelo Programa de Pós-graduação da Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).This paper aims to discuss the truth statute of our practices and our knowledge. Our theoretical reference is based on Foucault's work; this questioning comprises both the discourses which have produced such institutions, and the very spatial distribution of these places. In particular, we question how these practices supported by juridical and scientific discourses may be producers of truth; however, here we will bring this truth into question, through its deconstruction. We problematize such questions through the experience of participating in hearings of youths in conflict with the law and that of visiting temporary commitment units at the "Fundação de Atendimento Socioeducativo" (FASE).

Este artigo aborda os percursos de trabalho e formação de gerentes de bancos públicos e privados da cidade de João Pessoa, desde sua inserção até a promoção à função gerencial. Busca-se compreendê-los à luz de autores que analisam o trabalho e suas transformações, segundo uma perspectiva clínica, a exemplo de Zarifian, Dejours e Schwartz, ao lado daqueles que tratam especificamente do trabalho bancário, como Jinkings, Merlo e Barbarini. Realizaram-se dezesseis entrevistas, com pessoas que exercem gerências gerais ou intermediárias. Evidenciou-se a intensa pressão a que estão submetidos os gerentes quanto à capacitação, alcance de resultados e disponibilidade para a empresa. Constatou-se, entretanto, que, mesmo atendendo aos requisitos exigidos, não há garantia de estabilidade na função. Empresas requisitam sempre mais, solicitando um patamar inalcançável, desgastante para a saúde. Esta pesquisa levanta questionamentos sobre as conquistas relativamente à autonomia e formação profissional, que os gerentes experimentam como efeito da reestruturação bancária.This paper deals with the trajectory of bank managers in Joao Pessoa with regard their job and education, spanning from their entry in the system up to the point when they hold a management position, searching to understand this through authors who analyze the work and its transformation from a clinical perspective, like Zarifian, Dejours and Schwartz, as well as those that deal with the bank work, as it is the case of Jinkings, Merlo and Barbarini. Sixteen interviews have taken place with general or intermediaries managers. The study showed that they are submitted to a great pressure with respect to their general ability, competence to obtain results and availability to the bank. It was noted, however, that even fulfilling these demands they do not have stability in the position. They argue that the company continually demands further effort, in an unreachable level, spoiling their health. This research addresses some questions and doubts about the benefits with respect to the autonomy and formation that managers are subject as a consequence of the banking system restructuring.

O presente trabalho aborda a epidemia da Aids sob a perspectiva não somente de seu impacto biológico, como também social, tendo como principal foco as crianças infectadas pelo vírus HIV. Para tanto, contextualiza o percurso da epidemia, abordando a mudança de seu quadro no panorama mundial até chegar à infância. A partir de uma perspectiva histórica, analisa o conceito de infância e se atém principalmente aos aspectos psicossociais peculiares a essa infância "produzida" a partir do surgimento da epidemia. Baseada principalmente na teoria de Michel Foucault, aliada a aspectos específicos sobre Aids, procura identificar os discursos que envolvem essa infância, acreditando que estes têm poder de determinar lugares, mas também de realizar mudanças em nossa sociedade.This paper discusses the AIDS epidemic from the perspective of its impact not only biological but also social, with the primary focus on children infected with HIV. For this purpose, we contextualized the course of the epidemic, addressing the change in its picture on the world scene until childhood. It analyzes the concept of childhood from a historic perspective, mainly addressing distinctive psychosocial aspects of this child, derived from the emerging epidemic. It is mostly based on Michel Foucault's theory, combined with specific aspects of AIDS. The aim is to identify the speeches involved in this childhood, believing that they have power to determine places, as well as changes in our society.

O combate aos efeitos negativos dos estereótipos, dos preconceitos e da exclusão social é um problema recorrente da nossa época. Um dos maiores desafios enfrentados por quem se dedica a refletir acerca deste tema se refere ao papel desempenhado pelo raciocínio categórico essencialista. O objetivo principal do presente artigo é apresentar os resultados de um estudo sobre a essencialização da categoria social raça. O estudo contou com 101 participantes brasileiros e 138 espanhóis. Foi constatado um claro efeito do país no grau de essencialização, assim como foram obtidas evidências de que a essencialização sofreu o impacto da hegemonia da categoria. A análise das explicações adotadas pelos participantes permitiu concluir que, dentre as teorias implícitas, as causas internas foram adotadas com maior frequência, a história causal foi predominantemente utilizada para explicar as mudanças no comportamento e as pressões situacionais foram arroladas para explicar, preferencialmente, a estabilidade da conduta.Nowadays, one of the main problems of our societies is to fight against the negative effects of stereotypes, prejudices and social exclusion. One of the greatest challenges faced by anyone doing research on this topic is related to the role played by the categorical essentialist thinking. The main objective of this paper is to present the results of the essentialization of race as a social category. 101 Brazilians and 138 Spaniards took part in this study. The results obtained showed a clear effect of the country and the hegemony of the category on the level of essentialization. The analysis of the explanations used by the participants allows us to conclude that within common sense theories, internal causes were the ones most frequently pointed out, causal history was predominantly adopted to explain changes in behavior and, finally, situational pressures were presented to explain, preferably, stability in behavior.

Scopo del presente lavoro è proporre l'analisi di testi letterari per lo studio delle rappresentazioni sociali dell'invecchiamento. Dopo un'introduzione al tema, con cenni ai recenti sviluppi in termini di invecchiamento positivo e all'utilità di un maggiore interscambio tra psicologia sociale e letteratura, vengono presentati i risultati di analisi quali-quantitative e qualitative di due recenti opere italiane. Sia l'analisi delle corrispondenze, sia una lettura più qualitativa dei testi, restituiscono indicazioni preziose rispetto all'intento di co-costruire un modo di Invecchiare Bene. Assonanze e divergenze rispetto alla letteratura psico-sociale sull'invecchiamento contribuiscono ad una lettura critica e generativa dell'ultimo 'dono del tempo'.O objetivo deste trabalho é propor a análise de textos literários para o estudo das representações sociais do envelhecimento. Após uma introdução ao tema, com referências a recente evolução positiva em termos de envelhecimento e à utilidade de um maior intercâmbio entre a psicologia social e a literatura, apresentamos os resultados da análise e as características quantitativas e qualitativas de duas recentes obras italianas. Tanto a análise de correspondência, quanto uma leitura mais qualitativa dos textos fornecem indicações valiosas sobre a intenção de co-construir um caminho para Envelhecer Bem. Semelhanças e diferenças em relação à literatura psico-social sobre o envelhecimento contribuem para uma leitura crítica e generativa do último "dom do tempo".Aim of the present paper is to propose the analysis of literary texts in order to study social representations of Ageing. After introducing the theme, with reference to recent developments in terms of positive ageing and to the usefulness of a stronger interchange between social psychology and literature, the results of quali-quantitative and qualitative analyses of two Italian recent books are presented. Both correspondence analysis and a qualitative reading of the texts provide precious cues towards the purpose of co-constructing a Good way of Ageing. Assonances and divergences with contemporary social psychological literature on ageing contribute to a critical and generative interpretation of the last 'gift of time'.

Este trabalho discute a conjuntura de políticas científicas para a pós-graduação no contexto brasileiro, tendo em vista os modos de subjetivação que engendram para os pesquisadores/docentes nas universidades. Privatização, especialização e individualização parecem constituir três dimensões prevalentes dessas políticas, estabelecendo identificações e ações coletivas propensas a uma aceitação ao que está posto e a uma atitude de "reconciliação" com o sistema de desenvolvimento científico do país. A análise evoca a figura do intelectual, tal como visto por Russell Jacoby e Edward Said, como o contraponto necessário ao trabalho acadêmico atualmente engolfado pelas políticas de boa gestão. Dois aspectos são trazidos para a análise, ao final, como ilustração do argumento: a relação da pós-graduação com a graduação e a internacionalização da pós-graduação.The present work discusses the framework of scientific policies for graduate education in the Brazilian context in view of the modes of subjectivization engendered for university researchers/lecturers. Privatization, specialization and individualization seem to constitute three main dimensions of these policies establishing collective identifications and actions conducive to an acceptance of the status quo, and to an attitude of 'reconciliation' with the system of scientific development in the country. The paper evokes the place of the intellectual, as seen by Russell Jacoby and Edward Said, as a necessary counterpoint to the academic task which has become engulfed today by policies of good management. Two issues are brought forward to illustrate the argument: the relation of graduate with undergraduate courses and the internationalization of graduate education.

O artigo discute o conceito de promoção de saúde e sua relação com as práticas de saúde direcionadas à adolescência em situação de vulnerabilidade social e pessoal. Nas últimas décadas, os crescentes indicadores de morbimortalidade nesse grupo social, sobretudo devido às chamadas causas externas, reiteram a importância de uma maior atenção das políticas de saúde direcionadas à adolescência. Nesse sentido, o artigo expõe as diretrizes do Ministério de Saúde para o atendimento integral à saúde dessa população e ilustra, com o relato de uma intervenção direcionada à saúde de adolescentes em situação de rua, como os princípios de promoção de saúde podem ser colocados em prática. Por fim, sugere-se que a atuação dos psicólogos deve alicerçar-se nos princípios propostos pelo campo da promoção da saúde, tanto em termos de concepção do processo saúde-doença enquanto produção social quanto de objetivo da prática terapêutica -promoção de autonomia, co-responsabilização, empoderamento e conscientização.The paper discusses the concept of promotion of health and the relationship with the practices of health addressed to the adolescence in situation of social and personal vulnerability. In the last decades, the crescent indicatives of morbimortality in that social group, above all due to external causes, reiterate the importance of a larger attention of the politics of health addressed to the adolescence. In that sense, this study exposes the guidelines of the Ministry of Health for the integral service to the health of that population and illustrates by the report of an intervention addressed to the adolescents' health in street situation, as the beginnings of promotion they can be put in practice. Finally, suggests that the psychologists' performance must be found in the beginnings proposed by the field of the promotion of the health, so much in terms of conception of the process health-disease while a social production as of objective of the therapeutic practice -autonomy promotion, co-responsibility, empowerment and awareness.

As Cotas Universitárias são medidas que visam a ampliar possibilidades de ingresso no ensino superior para grupos sociais específicos. É um tema abrangente que aborda desde a falta de vagas para o ensino superior, até aspectos que relacionam subjetividade e pertença étnico-racial. O objetivo do presente estudo consiste em investigar as opiniões de vestibulandos sobre as Cotas. Participaram do estudo 107 estudantes de cursos pré-vestibulares, distribuídos em Grupo A (cursinhos alternativos; n=53) e Grupo B (cursinhos particulares; n=54). O estudo foi realizado em duas etapas: (1) aplicação do Questionário COTAS e (2) realização de entrevista individual. Os resultados indicam que a temática Cotas Universitárias é explorada superficialmente e de modo estereotipado pelos estudantes. O critério social foi mais aceito pelos participantes do que o critério étnico-racial na definição de Cotas. Por fim, ressalta-se a necessidade de promover debates sobre Cotas universitárias, no intuito de regulamentar, fiscalizar e avaliar as medidas.University Quotas are measures that aim to increase the possibilities of entrance into Higher Education by specific social groups. That is an embracing issue that addresses not only the scarceness of vacancies in Higher Education, but also aspects about subjectivity and ethnic-racial issues. This study aims to analyze the opinion about University Quotas by a group of students attending preparatory courses. In this study, 107 students have participated and were distributed into two groups: Group A (communitarian courses, n = 53) and Group B (private courses, n = 54). The study was conducted in two stages: (1) application of QUOTAS' Questionnaire, and (2) individual interviews. Results point out that the University Quotas issue is superficially explored and stereotyped by students. The social criteria to define Quotas was more accepted by them than the ethnic-racial one. Finally, the paper proposes that debates about University Quotas should be furthered targeting to supervise practices.

Este artigo busca discutir as influências das ideias de Michel Foucault - sua caixa de ferramentas conceituais - na reforma psiquiátrica brasileira. Nesse sentido, parte-se de um olhar mais amplo sobre o projeto do autor, buscando identificar sua atualidade no cenário da saúde mental brasileira. Para tanto, traça-se um percurso histórico que retoma, brevemente, os acontecimentos do final dos anos 1970 no Brasil até alcançar os dias atuais. O esforço é justamente o de colocar em questão a necessidade de outras ferramentas conceituais, no intuito de esclarecer as condições de possibilidade de noções como as de loucura, doença mental e desrazão, em busca de uma relação porosa com o Fora (Dehors). Sendo assim, busca-se refletir sobre a importância das artes, em sua potência de criação e invenção, nesse processo, como possível fornecedora de ferramentas de trabalho.This paper discusses the influences of Michel Foucault's ideas - its conceptual toolbox - to the Brazilian psychiatric reform, that composes the current scenario of mental health in Brazil. It is made a historic rescue retaking, although shortly, the events of the late 1970s in Brazil. Subsequently, it is questioned these changes actuality, as well as the need for further conceptual tools in order to point possibility conditions for notions such as madness, mental illness and déraison, seeking for a relationship with the outside (dehors). It is concluded by emphasizing the importance of arts (its creation and invention potency), in the process of constructing a new conceptual toolbox.

O Acolhimento Familiar assume em Portugal uma expressão reduzida, num sistema de protecção das crianças excessivamente centrado na colocação em instituições, não obstante o discurso político mais recente, defensor da desinstitucionalização, e a evolução de outros sistemas sociais em diversos países europeus. Este artigo pretende caracterizar o modelo de Acolhimento Familiar português, destacando, nomeadamente, a sua evolução histórica mais recente, os conceitos e tipologias que mobiliza, as práticas que manifesta e os desafios que se colocam ao seu desenvolvimento.The Foster Care in Portugal takes a reduced expression, in a system of protection of children excessively focused on institutional placements, despite the political discourse more recent, advocate of deinstitutionalization, and the development of other social systems in several European countries. This paper aims to analyze the Portuguese Foster Care model, highlighting in particular its historical evolution latest concepts and typologies that mobilize the practices that expresses, and challenges to its development.

Este artigo apresenta reflexões de uma pesquisa de Mestrado, que investigou a compreensão de educadores de uma escola pública sobre autonomia e em que medida ver-se ou não como autônomo influencia a atuação docente. Tomou-se como aporte teórico-metodológico os pressupostos de Vigotski e da teoria da Educação Libertadora, de Paulo Freire. Como instrumentos, foram utilizados entrevistas semiestruturadas e relatos de cenas das vivências da pesquisadora nas reuniões docentes. Como resultado, constatou-se que, embora alguns professores se mostrem autorregulados, suas práticas não se caracterizam como autônomas, assim como não se percebem como sujeitos capazes de exercer a autonomia, sobretudo em decorrência das condições materiais em que exercem suas atividades. Evidenciou-se, também, que as formas como as relações se empreendem na escola, permeadas por questões burocráticas e disputa de poder, constituem-se empecilho para o desenvolvimento da autonomia e da emancipação de seus atores.This paper presents some reflections first presented in a Master degree research which has investigated the understanding of educators from a public school about autonomy, and whether seeing themselves as an autonomous being or not has influence in teaching performance. The theoretical basis was drawn from theoretic-methodological ideas of Vigotski and Paulo Freire's Liberative Education theory. The instruments used were semi-structured interviews and accounts of scenes from the experiences of the researcher during the faculty meetings. As a result, it was found that although some teachers demonstrate self regulation, their practices are not characterized as autonomous and do not perceive themselves as subjects capable of exercising autonomy, especially because of the material conditions in which they conduct their activities. It was clear, too, that the ways in which relationships are undertake in school, permeated by bureaucratic issues and power struggle, undermine the development of autonomy and emancipation of its main actors.

Los teléfonos móviles son una tecnología constitutiva de las relaciones sociales, inclusiva y cuyas prácticas asociadas participan en la formación del sujeto común en nuestros días, por medio del control social, la normalización y la resistencia, mecanismos que no han sido suficientemente abordados y de los que pretendemos dar cuenta con este trabajo. A partir de los conceptos de poder y resistencia, tácticas y estrategias, y preformatividad, analizaremos la noción de control social para dar cuenta del objetivo. La técnica utilizada fue grupos de discusión y descripción densa para el análisis. Los resultados indican que el móvil actúa como mediador, en el sentido latouriano: en el acto de 'contactar a alguien' estos dispositivos permiten que pasen o no cosas, modificando las intenciones de su uso, redefiniendo las relaciones, propiciando así efectos de normalización, control social y resistencia. Dichos procesos reaccionan mutuamente: el funcionamiento del poder alimenta la resistencia y viceversa.Os celulares são uma tecnologia constitutiva e inclusiva das relações sociais. Suas práticas associadas participam na formação do sujeito comum em nossos dias por meio do controle social, da normalização e da resistência, mecanismos que não foram suficientemente abordados, os quais pretendemos dar conta com este trabalho. A partir dos conceitos de poder e resistência, performatividade, táticas e estratégias, analisaremos a noção de controle social para dar conta deste objetivo. Foram utilizados grupos de discussão e descrição densa para a análise. Os resultados indicam que o celular atua como mediador, no sentido latouriano: no ato de contatar alguém esses dispositivos permitem que passem ou não coisas, modificando as intenções de seu uso, redefinindo as relações e propiciando, assim, efeitos de normalização, controle social e resistência. Tais processos reagem mutuamente: o funcionamento do poder alimenta a resistência e vice-versa.Mobile phones are an inclusive technology immersed in social network, whose associated practices participate forming the common subject. Nowadays, they are part of social control, normalization and resistance. These mechanisms have not been studied enough, and explaining them is the aim of this paper. Using concepts like power, tactics, strategies, and performativity, we will explain social control and then account for our aim. For gathering data, discussion groups were used and the analytical approach was thick description. Results indicate that mobile phones act as mediators, in a Bruno Latour sense. It means that in contacting someone those devices allow to happen, or not, different things, for instance, they modify their original intended functions by redefining relationships, and, in turn, favoring normalization, social control, and resistance. These processes produce a mutual reaction: the operation of power feeds resistance, and vice versa.

Este ensaio faz uma leitura do documentário Ônibus 174 (Brasil, 2002, direção de José Padilha), ensaiando alguns recortes sobre a construção midiática e intelectual de leituras e interpretações correntes de um fato social. Para tal empreitada, se utiliza especialmente das teorizações de Jean Baudrillard sobre a questão dos simulacros e de Gilles Deleuze sobre a sociedade de controle.This paper makes a brief reading on the documentary Bus 174 (Ônibus 174, Brazil, 2002, direction by José Padilha), aiming to build some bridges between the mediatic and intellectual construction of readings and interpretations about a social fact. For this, it uses specially Jean Baudrillard's theory on simulacres and Gilles Deleuze's on control society.

Este artículo analiza el papel que juega el espacio público urbano como escenario para la implementación de contingencias sociales orientadas a la creación y sostenimiento en el tiempo de prácticas culturales que contribuyan a la convivencia entre los ciudadanos. Se analiza el efecto conjunto de las ocasiones, las consecuencias al comportamiento y el aprendizaje por reglas como elementos importantes de las metacontingencias haciendo énfasis principal en la programación de contingencias interdependientes para garantizar el sostenimiento de las prácticas socialmente deseables en el espacio público urbano. A partir de este análisis se dan recomendaciones orientadas al diseño de las metacontingencias a ser implementadas en el espacio público.Este artigo analisa o papel do espaço público urbano como palco para a implementação de contingências sociais orientadas para a criação e manutenção no tempo de práticas culturais que contribuam para a convivência entre os cidadãos. Analisamos o efeito combinado do tempo, as conseqüências para o comportamento e as normas de aprendizagem como elementos importantes de metacontingências, com ênfase principal na programação de contingências interdependentes para garantir a manutenção das práticas socialmente desejáveis nos espaços públicos urbanos. A partir desta análise, se fazem recomendações orientadas para a formulação das metacontingências a serem implementadas no espaço público.This article examines the role of urban public space as an implementation stage of social contingencies for the creation and sustainability of cultural practices that could contribute to citizen coexistence. The paper analyzes the combined effect of the occasions, the behavioral consequences, and learning by rules as important elements of metacontingencies. It is emphasized the programming of interdependent contingencies to ensure the maintenance of desirable social practices in the urban public space. Suggestions for designing metacontingencies to maintain and produce desirable social practices in public space are offered.

Ao longo da história, tempo e espaço mantiveram uma relação estável e equilibrada. Com a descoberta do vapor e de outras fontes de energia inanimada, nos séculos XVIII e XIX, há uma profunda mudança nesse quadro. O tempo é acelerado e essa aceleração se torna uma das principais características da modernidade. Nas últimas décadas do século XX, acontece outra transformação radical na relação tempo/espaço. As novas tecnologias de informação e telecomunicação, os transportes cada vez mais rápidos e a derrubada de fronteiras modernas instauram a era da instantaneidade, dos novos espaços virtuais e da fácil circulação de informação, pessoas e bens. Novos arranjos espaciais subvertem os existentes na modernidade; o espaço ganha proeminência. O presente artigo examina reflexões e pesquisas feitas sobre os espaços contemporâneos e oferece uma colaboração teórica calcada nos resultados de uma pesquisa sobre o uso de um conjunto de espaços virtuais e físicos por jovens brasileiros.Throughout history, time and space maintained a stable and balanced relationship. With the discovery of steam and other sources of inanimate energy, in the 18th and 19th centuries, this picture changes dramatically. Time is accelerated and its acceleration becomes one of the central distinctive features of modern age. In the last decades of the 20th century, there is another radical transformation in the time/space relationship. The new information and telecommunication technologies, the increasingly faster means of transportation and the disappearance of many modern frontiers generate an era of instantaneous communication, virtual spaces and easy circulation of information, people and goods. New space arrangements which subvert the modern ones emerge; space becomes prominent. The present paper examines already published reflections and researches on contemporary spaces. It also offers a theoretical contribution based on the results of an investigation into the use of a host of virtual and physical spaces by young Brazilians.
