The critical analysis of the ideological-and-theoretical principles, provided in the ecological doctrine of the "green" movement in Germany is carried out in the article. The reasons of the emergence of the "green" movement in the countries of Europe and the "pillars" of this movement are revealed. Analysing the situation in 1960-2000 the authors prove, that the implementation of the ideas of the "green" movement promoted the solution of the environmental problems, inherent in modern society, risk minimization and the destructions, determined by the ecological factors. But it is also necessary to recognize, that some changes of priorities of the "green" movement after 2014 significantly lowered the solution of the environmental problems and also damaged to the international cooperation in the field of ecological management. But anyway, Germany became one of the most ecologically safe countries of the world, thanks to the "green" movement. Therefore, it is expedient to use its experience in other countries, including Russia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
