Anelpistina nandalumii, new species, a nicoletiid insect, is described from Chiapas, Southeastern Mexico. Molecular and morphological data appears to indicate that the new species has close affinities with species of the Grenadine islands and Aruba, in the Caribbean.

Anelpistina levidensis n. sp. (Insecta: Zygentoma: Nicoletiidae) from the cave of Naj Tunich, Peten, Guatemala is described. The new troglobitic species differs from other described species by its long and slim appendages.

Cubacubana arubana Mendes 1986, was described from only two female specimens. We describe the male morphology for the first time. Males have the diagnostic articulated submedian appendages on urosternum IV found in specimens of the genus Anelpistina, and Anelpistina arubana, n. comb., is proposed. DNA sequences of 16S rRNA also indicate that the species is widely distributed throughout caves of Aruba and not restricted to the single type locality cave.

— Anelpistina tuxtlensis n. sp., from the tropical rain forest of the Biosphere Reserve of Los Tuxtlas, Mexico, is described. Males have an assortment of characters similar to species from the Caribbean; the articulated submedian appendages on urosternum IV are similar to those found in A. arubana (Mendes 1986), while the genital area is similar to A. puertoricensis Espinasa and Baker Alpheis 2003 and A. acanthocrus Espinasa and Fisher 2006. Preliminary molecular data with the 16S rRNA also appears to support a closer relationship with Caribbean species over other Mexican species. Molecular and morphological data also show that Los Tuxtlas is inhabited by a second and as of yet undescribed species of Anelpistina. These species appear to be sympatric.
