This is a conceptual article that aims to propose the concept of sensory and emotional smart cultural tourism, whose main idea is to promote the use of digital technologies in an approach that makes them transparent in the tourist experience and that this experience is focused on the sensory and emotional experience, capable of triggering memorable sensory states, that is, unforgettable experiences. The proposal of sensory and emotional smart cultural tourism was conceived through an analytical-reflective literature review and proposes that the empirical approaches to be implemented from the concept take into account the co-design approach. The use of digital technologies in managing bowel conditions has been a topic of interest among healthcare practitioners. The objectives of this paper were to provide information about the types of digital technologies that have been used for bowel management and the context of the studies; identify the gaps and challenges in digital technologies for bowel management and propose new methods and techniques for the application of digital technologies in bowel management. A scoping review was conducted following the principles of Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). A search was conducted on six academic databases. 1891 papers were retrieved from the initial search; however, 6 papers were included based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The findings suggest that published work focused mainly on a research context and with a narrow focus targeting sub-categories of bowel conditions and not implemented in the context of everyday use. The findings also illustrate the variety of early-stage developments focused on increasing support for severe bowel dysfunction, for example, through biofeedback to aid muscle control training, or the placement of artificial anal sphincters to increase rectal perception. However, technology to support bowel management for broader populations with less severe or variable symptoms appears limited. The purpose of this paper is to develop a better understanding about the benefits that can be realized after implementing voice-based chatbot technologies in banks. Furthermore, this paper aims to investigate the challenges faced by organizations when implementing such technologies. This study followed a qualitative approach where semi-structured interviews were conducted with experts from mid to senior managerial levels working in a leading bank operating in Jordan and had implemented the voice-based chatbot technology. Implementing voice-based chatbot technology for the first time in a Jordanian bank has positively impacted the growth of the bank, increased customers satisfaction, and added a competitive advantage value to the bank. On the other side, different challenges faced the bank when it implemented this technology like issues related to security, compliance, integration, and infrastructure limitations. This paper can be considered in the foremost research conducted to investigate the implementation of AI-based chatbot in Jordanian banks. In recent years, the use of Serious Games has become increasingly popular in the field of Digital Health. Digital transformation is much needed in the healthcare sector to maximize the efficiency and productivity of human health. Adding technologies is an important addition to the continuity of growing the industry, and it is a promising opportunity for human care growth; This research conjectured that while healthcare is a vibrant and continuously evolving field, it becomes essential to present a detailed categorization for the main recent technologies used in the healthcare. To do this conceptual research, we reviewed a deal of existing research, about 31 research papers, that share common characteristics. The papers chosen for review are all written in English language, published in the last three years; From 2021 to 2023. And shown by Google Scholar, IEEE, PubMed and Emerald Insight. Our study presented a more unambiguous categorization. Existing literature showed three main categories, namely Preoperative; Intraoperative; And Post-operative. This research suggests adding a new one category related to Inorganic illness to address psychological and relaxation aspects, which need access to devices in each psychological state and relaxation; Preoperative; Intraoperative; And Post-operative. To conclude, technology has a great role in increasing efficiency and accuracy and reducing material and human losses. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of digitalization and cybersecurity in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), using the R tool Bibliometrix, with a total of 417 papers. First, our paper contributes to academia by showing that research on this topic is grouped into four clusters corresponding to four research lines: Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory; Industry 4.0 and SME; SME and Cybersecurity; Digitalization, SMEs, and Entrepreneurship. Second, our paper contributes to the literature by highlighting the existing gaps. We see that the digital transformation of SMEs entails increasing exposure to possible cyberattacks, which can be a determining factor for digitalization and, additionally, can affect the future of the SME business. In this context, we see that this gap has not been covered, as research lines have been found that focus on these issues but are unconnected. Regarding future research, we can predict that cybersecurity in SMEs will be a particular case of cybersecurity in firms, separated from research on digitalization in SMEs, which addresses issues such as smart factories and Industry 4.0 objectives in these enterprises. Fake news generation and propagation is a major challenge of the digital age, resulting in various social impacts namely bandwagon, validity, echo chamber effects, deceiving the public with spams, misinformation, malicious content and many more. The widespread proliferation of fake news not only fosters misinformation but also undermines the credibility of news sources. The veracity of the information is a major concern at all the stages of generation, publication, and propagation. To comprehend the critical need for addressing this pervasive problem, this research paper presents a framework for automatic detection of fake news using a knowledge-based approach. An automatic fact checking mechanism is applied using concepts of Information Retrieval (IR), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Graph theory. The knowledge base is generated using Twitter dataset, which basically contains four attributes: Subject-Predicate-Object (SPO) triplet, SPO sentiment polarity, SPO occurrence, and topic modeling. These attributes serve as pivotal indicators for the development of a knowledge base, subsequently employed to detect prevalent patterns and traits linked to deceptive or false information. We have employed Named Entity Recognition (NER) model to extract SPO triples and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for topic modeling, thereby contributing to knowledge base generation. To evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of our proposed model, we utilize deep learning algorithms like RNN, GRU, LSTM, GPT-3 and BERT Transformer providing an acceptable level of accuracy. This paper discusses the digital transformation journey of a small and medium enterprise (SME) based in the UK. Numerous research has for long studied the challenges and opportunities within digitalization of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). While SMEs are financially limited compared to larger organization, previous research has succeeded in identifying potential focus areas that allow SMEs to participate in the industrial progression. Among these, pragmatic research on exploitation of existing resources have been highlighted. Therefore, this paper intends to report the findings of a single case study in a Danish SME, where the objective is to understand how technological sub-factors influence the prototyping of digital initiatives for advancing maintenance activities. The study begins with mapping the maintenance activities, along with the IT infrastructure. From here, relevant data is analyzed to understand their shortcomings, where the most dominant relates to how technicians report service orders. Effective communication in food supply chains is increasingly important, especially in supply chains that strive to provide improved levels of information from producer to consumer. Such supply chains can be found in alternative food networks. Alternative food networks often adopt local and short supply chain strategies to provide embedded information between producers and consumers. Information in the supply chain of alternative food networks is communicated through face-to-face, proximate, or extended supply chain structures. The tools used to communicate information vary amongst the supply chains in alternative food networks; for example, face-to-face may adopt word-of-mouth, while proximate and extended supply chain structures may use labels, digital platforms, and websites. This paper uses Principal Component Analysis to provide an understanding of the categories and underlying dimensions of information communication tools in the supply chains of alternative food networks. A living lab approach and survey method were used for data collection. Using Principal Component Analysis, the data revealed two principal components of information communication tools, highlighting the use of on-packaging information communication tools such as packaging and labelling tools as a principal component. Another principal component was identified, backing a need for off-packaging information communication tools such as digital technologies, certificates, social media, and packaging technologies, enabling stakeholders who desire a further understanding of information regarding the processes and products. Supply chain (SC) conditions are becoming more challenging, and its systems are gaining more complexities over time. However, managing a complex SC depends on multiple variables related to the SC and its environment. In addition, digital technologies have shown potential to reshape the present understanding of SC management. In this regard, blockchain technology (BT) can help business models by enhancing transparency, improving traceability, reducing costs, minimizing risks, and bringing resiliency to the SC processes. This paper follows the Dynamic Capabilities View (DCV) theory as a theoretical lens to investigate the capabilities of the BT and its impact on supply chain resilience (SCR). The paper uses a PLS-SEM method for analyzing the collected data and drawing evidence from the manufacturing and assembling industries to demonstrate the technological benefits and potential of BT, as well as its capacity to drive SCR and enhance efficiency in business models. The findings of the paper show that the sensing, seizing, and transforming capabilities of the BT have a substantial effect on SCR (R2 adjusted= 0.701). This paper addresses this gap by exploring the interaction between Project Cost Deployment (PCD), a tailored method for ETO environments, and the digital technologies of Industry 4.0. The research aims to identify the synergies between Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, investigating how their integration can enhance productivity, quality, and competitiveness in the manufacturing industry. While Lean Manufacturing is adept at addressing loss reduction and elimination across various industrial contexts, Industry 4.0 leverages digital technologies to revolutionize manufacturing operations and enable more efficient and intelligent production systems. The paper demonstrates the effectiveness of the PCD method through an industrial application involving an international company specializing in customized paper converting machinery and lines. By utilizing PCD in conjunction with Industry 4.0 technologies, analysts were able to uncover hidden losses and quantify them from an economic perspective, while also evaluating the potential impacts of improvement activities. While Clip Thinking offers benefits such as quick access to diverse perspectives and efficient information processing, it also raises concerns about shallow engagement, echo chambers, and reduced critical thinking skills. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys, to gather insights from participants representing different age groups, educational backgrounds, and digital media consumption habits. The qualitative interviews delve into participants' motivations, habits, and experiences related to Clip Thinking, providing an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. The quantitative surveys measure participants' information consumption patterns, cognitive abilities, and attitudes towards Clip Thinking. On one hand, participants appreciate the convenience and accessibility offered by short, clipped content. They find it easier to navigate the overwhelming information landscape, rapidly browse topics of interest, and connect with a broader range of ideas. On the other hand, concerns emerge regarding the potential for information overload, reduced attention spans, and a lack of depth in understanding complex issues. Participants express worries about the erosion of critical thinking skills and the creation of filter bubbles that reinforce pre-existing beliefs. By analyzing the data collected, this paper aims to provide a nuanced understanding of the impacts of Clip Thinking on individuals' cognitive processes, decision-making abilities, and overall information consumption habits. In the digital age, organizations confront the challenge of managing diverse documents efficiently while ensuring security, accuracy, and accessibility. Conventional document management approaches often must catch up, leading to inefficiencies and increased costs. This paper introduces the Intelligent Document Management System (IDMS), which employs advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to enhance document workflows. This research extends the capabilities of IDMS to encompass the extraction and processing of data from three important document types: medical bills, Aadhar cards, and PAN cards. The research and development efforts done in this paper have concentrated on seamlessly integrating of these models into the IDMS framework, offering a comprehensive solution for extracting and processing data from various document types. In this paper, two approaches, namely Easy OCR and a hybrid approach of combining NLP (Regular Expression) and CV (OCR) have been applied and compared. The results revealed that the proposed hybrid approach (NLPCV) is better, with higher accuracy of 97%,71 %, and 78% for hospital invoices, Aadhar cards, and PAN cards, respectively. Online collaboration growing significantly in the development of open-source hardware and software has led to a surge of research interest. However, no comprehensive bibliometric review has investigated the management of digital communities in these ecosystems. In this study, academic contributions to the field of online community management in open-source hardware and software were mapped, highlighting influential research streams and trends. A bibliometric review was conducted based on a keyword search analysis of research databases (IEEExplore, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science), with a sample comprising an overall 399 papers. The study identifies the most impactful articles in the field, maps the diverse streams of research on online collaboration and community management, visualizes focus areas and trends, and pinpoints areas for further investigation. Information technology infrastructure (ITI) has gone through an exponential change due to the rapid evolution of digital technologies during the past few years. It is therefore relevant to identify the factors that push organizations towards the adoption of new technologies. This paper considers a specific case study of the higher education institutions (HEI) to present (i) the motivational factors that push HEIs toward the adoption of new technologies, and (ii) the key challenges HEIs face in the adoption of these technologies. The data was gathered after conducting 17 open-ended interviews with practitioners working at HEIs in Finland and Pakistan. Data analysis identified 10 motivational factors and 41 challenges faced by HEI in the adoption of the latest technologies. As the digital and physical worlds connect, machine-learning tools are increasingly being used by businesses and institutions, including archaeological research institutes and museums. The article presents research that, based on the evolution of human scripts, provides a tool for identifying script variants used in old manuscripts and stone inscriptions. This makes the work of paleography institutes and individual researchers more efficient. Using this research, it is possible to provide some information about millions of hitherto unidentified inscriptions using machine learning. The developed and tested method applies the biological phylogenetics tool to script evolution, an area that has yet to be investigated with machine learning tools. The final aim of the research is to use these tools to clarify the connections between many Arabic, Aramaic and Central Iranian script variants. The described procedure gives a new solution to one of the fundamental issues of phylogenetic analysis, feature selection, the effectiveness of which is verified with test runs. The paper presents a new feature selection method to identify the strength or effect of features before phylogenetic processing. This type of dimensionality reduction removes unnecessary features from the dataset for these analyses and interpretations. The SmartEUS project aims to design, develop, and test a highly innovative model for the provision of Emergency Urgency Services (EUS) based on the concept of clinical pathway (i.e., the entire emergency care chain). The project is innovative both from an organizational and technological point of view. It is based on an e-Health approach, capable of exploiting new digital technologies in a coordinated way to support the evolution of emergency health systems towards dynamic and safer processes. The paper presents the SmartEUS platform which can integrate the information from all the key players in medical emergency response (emergency operation center, emergency medical service, hospital emergency department) improving their coordination. The most relevant innovations of the proposed solution are data integration and interoperability, advanced communication and collaboration, knowledge-based resource allocation, telemedicine integration to support decision making in dispatching and resource assignment. In fact, a Decision Support System is integrated into SmartEUS cloud platform to suggest to the emergency operation center which emergency medical service and hospital emergency department. In fact, information on the patient status can include results from ambulance's on board telediagnosis equipment, alerting the hospital emergency department even before the arrive of the patient, thus guaranteeing the appropriateness of care according to patient needs (e.g., patient pre-triage index, potential pre-hospital diagnosis) and reducing emergency department overcrowding and resources saturation. Digital Transformation (DT) is considered one of the bases for the creation of new business models and the definition of new strategies in organizations, so, a paradigm shift in the way organizations operate and how they relate to their customers in this digital age. Modern ransomware implement innovative techniques and tactics to bypass existing security measures. Hence, predicting and forecasting such kind of malware is crucial for enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture in an increasingly digital and interconnected world. In this paper, we propose a proactive approach for predicting ransomware attacks. We integrated a dynamic deep learning algorithm for analyzing memory-based features. This allows us to detect the existence of ransomware indicators regardless of the usage of obfuscation techniques, such as code encryption. Thus, offering advantages in terms of obfuscation resistance, realtime insights threat analysis and adaptability to evolving ransomware threats landscape. Experimental results using recent datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach in identifying modern ransomware samples with a weighted average of 99.98%, 99.96%, 100%, and 99.98% for accuracy, precision, recall and fl-score respectively. In the digital era, recommender systems (RS) have become an integral part of our daily interactions, exerting a significant impact on users and society. However, this also raises ethical challenges related to RS that should be considered. Addressing these challenges requires the application of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) models to make RS more understandable. Based on the current state-of-the-art literature, this paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of XAI for RS and its ethical implications, with the aim of proposing a research agenda for ethical RS based on XAI. The findings of the literature review show that neural network-based RS have received much attention in terms of offering explanations, while there is a research gap in explaining context-based RS and in evaluating explanations. The main objective of the paper is to present the functional as well as resource structure (concerns aggregated digitised eco-innovations) of the digital collaboration platform called Digital Collaboration Tool (DCT), which is a common platform for the transfer of heterogenous eco-innovations of the partners of the network consortium ECOLABNET, co-created by the research and development units and intermediary organisations of the Baltic Sea countries. The underlying objective of the research was to identify and analyse eco-innovative services and visualize them in the context of accelerated increase of users in the analysed period. The research was based on the survey conducted on the group of SMEs in the partner countries of the project consortium. The conducted survey provided data on the needs and barriers of the investigated group of enterprises with regard to eco-innovative activities. Based on the data, the authors have summarized in the paper packages of eco-innovative products and services for SMEs and presented the logical and functional structure of the tool for acquisition and dissemination of knowledge on heterogeneous eco-innovations. The concept of modernizing outdated systems in critical infrastructure through digital transformation has been a widely discussed topic nowadays. Following the transition of energy systems, the attention has now shifted towards digitalizing the water distribution systems. In the modern digital world, the use of animated applications has increased significantly and such applications have quietly become an integral part of life. Capturing human motions is a fundamental aspect of these applications which is performed by motion-capturing (MoCap) systems. Due to the heterogeneity of MoCap systems and marker configurations, the captured skeletons may vary in their structure, number of joints, and bone lengths. The need for motion retargeting arises to transfer motion captured from one articulated actor to another. Although motion retargeting is a long-standing issue, current methods cannot automatically execute retargeting between skeletons. This paper presents the retraining of a popular motion retargeting network with a new large-scale motion dataset. The retraining aims to demonstrate the capabilities of the motion retargeting network to handle the problem of motion retargeting between skeletons that may have different structures. The paper first, presents the motion retargeting network that employs an encoder-decoder architecture. Afterward, we re-train the motion retargeting network with a new MoCap dataset. To validate the effectiveness of the network, we visually compare the generated results with the existing retargeting model. In this paper, we mean by digital health passport a digital passport or immunity passport that stores information about an individual's personal data, health status, travel history, health conditions, and medical and drug records. The proposed innovative scheme can ease travel, ensure free movement, and minimize economic damages. However, protecting personal and digital health passport information during a crisis is challenging. Therefore, this paper aims to propose an agent-based secure decentralized innovative digital health passport protocol that is interoperable, fault-tolerant, and compatible with privacy standards. The proposed solution is known as Secure Mobile Digital Passport Agent (SMDPA), uses: (1) Private Set Intersection (PSI) to (a) protect Digital Health Passport Information (DHPA) against surveillance, especially during the crisis, (b) generate Bit Passing Coin (BPC); (2) blockchain to store serialized SMDPAs copies (3) mobile agent to disseminate DHPA autonomously; (4) Location and time attributes for data minimization. Despite the rapid development of China's digital economy and many studies involving the development of digital economy, there is no unified standard on the measurement of digital economy, and the existing accounting methods all have certain shortcomings. In view of this, this paper constructs a set of accounting system to measure the scale of digital economy industry, from the perspective of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, based on input-output tables. We separate digital economy from traditional industries by splitting and merging IO tables using data such as the Economic Census Yearbook and SAT to calculate the scale of digital economy industry. In this paper, data from Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei provinces in 2017 were used as an example for the calculation. The accounting results show that there is still a large gap in digital economy industry development between Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, with the total digital economy industry scale, industry digitization scale, digital industrialization scale and the proportion of digital economy value added to GDP in Beijing being much higher than those in Hebei and Tianjin. In addition, due to the characteristics of the respective industrial structures in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the percentages of the four major categories in digital industrialization also show different performance. The share of digital technology application industry in Beijing is much higher than that in Tianjin and Hebei, while the share of digital product manufacturing in Hebei and Tianjin is high. The association between technology and social development is particularly important in the health field, pointing to research in e-Health to optimize health services. This paper aimed to carry out a bibliometric mapping of software architecture for e-Health systems, so an exploratory and descriptive study was performed, with a quantitative approach and based on secondary data from ISI Web of Science. The bibliometric indicators showed 127 different papers in 97 sources, with 16.92 citations per paper and a collaboration index of 4.18 with higher scientific productivity from Europe and North America. Scattered networks of co-citation of the sources and co-occurrence of the keywords were identified, pointing to three main approaches in the research theme, including (i) a managerial view of e-Health systems based on the development of frameworks; (ii) data privacy in health services; (iii) and application of digital technologies, especially Big Data, IoT, Cloud Computing, and Blockchain as corroborated by the word cloud. In addition, for the evaluation of the countries that have the largest number of scientific production and to assess the most used keywords, a descriptive statistical analysis was performed to organize the dataset and to obtain the measures of centrality, dispersion, and frequency. Globally, teaching and learning in contact face-to-face universities had to transition to online learning during 2020, following the disruptions caused by COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns imposed in many countries around the world. The purpose of this paper is to provide insights from preliminary results of ongoing research focusing on students' personal concerns raised about online learning during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa. Data were collected using a web-based survey in 2020, sampling one group of second-year university students. Internationally, the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an acceleration in digital transformation for teaching and learning in many face-to-face contact universities. The key findings from the survey reported in this paper are twofold: firstly, it was found that COVID-19 has fundamentally changed both teaching and learning space geographies with large proportions of university students having to study from their homes during the lockdown; secondly, students recognised that access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure and the unaffordability of internet connections were significant concerns for most respondents who took part in the study. The study seeks to highlight that even though the COVID-19 pandemic has led to an acceleration in the digital transformation underway in tertiary education and has drawn university teaching and learning more comprehensively into the digital era, the uneven distribution of ICT infrastructure accentuates the barriers to and inequalities that exist for students and for practical home studying. The study makes initial policy suggestions for assisting this acceleration into the digital world. The industrial transformation is sociotechnical. Industry 5.0 is one of the recent terms to describe this phenomenon, defined as a humanized vision of technological transformations in industry, balancing the current and future needs of the workers and society with the sustainable optimization of energy consumption, materials processing, and product lifecycles. This paper presents a tertiary study of thirty-two literature reviews on Industry 5.0, supported by a bibliometric analysis in the Scopus database. The results show three stages of Industry 5.0 research since 2018, starting with the Industry 4.0 separation. The latest priority is to deploy circular manufacturing strategies supported by human-friendly digitalization capable of anticipating and acting proactively on impacts. Therefore, Industry 5.0 is future-oriented and cross-sectoral, (interactively) diverging from the original configuration of Industry 4.0. For theory, we highlight the findings of recent literature reviews, clarifying the landscape of Industry 5.0 research and suggesting future developments. Majority of children devote their time on Internet using various social media platforms which have become a key means of teaching and learning. Institutions dealing with children continuously struggle to represent the rights of children enshrined within the Convention on the Rights of Children. Video Super-Resolution (VSR) is gaining massive attention in the digital age across various application domains such as video surveillance and ultra-high-definition displays. Deep learning (DL) has recently made significant progress in research and industry domains. Existing researchers used numerous VSR methods based on deep learning to improve the resolution. VSR is based on inter-frame information utilization. Video frames provide the leverage information of data that modalities record sequentially, i.e.; the object's temporal changes cause inconsistent measurements. Consequently, suitable models and algorithms must be developed to provide artifact-free images. This paper goes through two reconstruction methods incorporating various motion data sources. Initially, it describes an iterative approach that implicitly treats dynamic behavior as uncertainty in the forward model. Further direct reconstruction techniques can be derived for an explicit motion map. This paper compares both explicit and implicit motion compensation-based methods. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) and recurrent, residual network (RRN) based methods from a deep learning environment are analyzed to reconstruct the High-Resolution (HR) frames. This paper shows numerical findings for both methods using simulated data. Observations show that RRN can boost the super-resolution (SR) performance and achieve considerable visual quality after reconstruction; however, performance is limited to small datasets due to shallow network parameters. This paper aims to understand the role of digital technologies in food system innovations for healthy food access and waste reduction. It seeks to expand the knowledge of commercial food system interventions from the industrial supply side for improving public and planetary health. For this, we review the literature on urban food supply chains and synthesize the findings (from 33 screened articles) into thematic clusters. The first iteration of the review gives an overview of food supply chain problems and possible Industry 4.0-based solutions. Four technology intervention opportunities for integrated supply chains emerge from the literature, namely digital platforms, enterprise information systems, traceability systems, and blockchain. Findings indicate limited empirical research on supply chain digitalization for healthy food access. This paper examines the existing field of digital innovation publications in management and business journals. Due to the exponential growth of digital technology adoptions in companies, much attention has been given to the new phenomenon of digital innovation. Prior literature reviews have attempted to explore the phenomenon but they seem to lack objectivity and are limited in scope. By applying three bibliometric techniques – co-citation, co-occurrence, and bibliographic coupling analysis – we provide a holistic overview of the digital innovation publications. The spread of false information in the digital age has led to serious threats about the veracity and dependability of information traded online. Fake news can exacerbate social and political divisions, as it often targets specific groups or promotes divisive narratives. This paper sheds light on the pioneering venture into the field of fake news detection in Assamese, filling a significant research gap that had previously remained unaddressed. A comprehensive dataset of 6,000 news articles was meticulously collected to aid with the proposed research. The dataset contains 3,000 true news items and an equal number of fraudulent news stories. A fake news detection system for the Assamese language was created in this work using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) and Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) models. The accuracy of the Bi-LSTM model was 94.17%, compared to the LSTM model's 93.50%. This research establishes a foundational framework for fake news detection in Assamese. The findings demonstrate the potential of LSTM and Bi-LSTM models for effectively preventing the propagation of fake news in the Assamese language and improving the accuracy and reliability of information in the digital sphere. In the current digital era, organizations face enormous difficulties in efficiently managing and utilizing the power of documents due to the exponential growth of information. In this research, a novel Intelligent Document Management System (IDMS) is proposed by digitizing healthcare claim settlement documents like medical bills, discharge summaries, clinical reports, doctor's prescriptions, etc. The existing documentation process is very time- consuming and cumbersome for the patient and his family during the treatment of the patient at the hospital. Moreover, it becomes even more challenging when a patient is going to be discharged from the hospital and has to wait for clearance to avail of the cashless claim facility. The scope of the paper is limited to the digitization of three types of documents namely Adhaar Card, Pan Card, and hospital invoice. The proposed method is used to extract the textual information in the form of a JSON/CSV file format, which can be used in an Intelligent Document Management System (IDMS) for Health Care insurance claim settlement. The findings show an accuracy of 94.09% is achieved for the hospital invoice using AWS services whereas the performance of the proposed system using heuristic approach for Aadhar Card and PAN Card is 83.13% and 70.3% respectively.
