Preparation coating materials is the main point in solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fiber fabrications. So, fabricating MoS2 nanoflakes on graphenized HB (hard black) pencil lead was developed. The MoS2 nanoflakes were directionally arranged on graphenized HB pencil lead and used as a fiber coating for selectively headspace microextraction of phenolic compounds. The MoS2/graphenized pencil fibers were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning microscopy (FESEM), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX).MoS2/graphenized pencil lead fibers indicated considerable potential due to extracting simultaneously trace amounts of some phenolic compounds in different water samples. The repeatabilities and detection limits for one fiber were between 5.5 and 7.2% and between 0.002 and 0.32 µgL−1, respectability. The purpose method was a simple, quick, stable and cheap approach. The current research focuses on the utilization of cobalt ferrite and Al-doped cobalt ferrite as catalysts for the synthesis of 12-aryl/heteroaryl-8,9,10,12-tetrahydrobenzo[a]xanthene-11-ones derivatives in semi-aqueous conditions. Doping some aluminum metal into CoFe2O4 improved its catalytic potential, which was then utilized in chemical synthesis. The produced catalyst was recycled in numerous reactions to test its stability. Characterization of the catalysts was done using FT-IR, XRD, BET, and SEM techniques. The grade of the catalysts was also determined by the yield of xanthene derivatives. The effect of pure cobalt ferrite and varied molar ratios of aluminum cobalt ferrite on the yield and reaction time of xanthene derivatives has been thoroughly explored. Xanthene derivatives having aryl moiety showed better results in terms of reaction times and yield as compared to heteroaryl. An eco-friendly, sustainable, simple, and facile protocol has been demonstrated for the synthesis of some novel perimidine derivatives using readily available 1,8-diaminonaphthalene and substituted aldehydes in the presence of green carbocatalyst, graphene oxide (GO). The designed protocol was efficiently carried out under metal-free conditions at room temperature through simple shaking and the desired products were obtained in high to excellent yields in short reaction time (50 sec-2 min) using low catalyst loading (0.005 g). A library of derivatives was synthesized that accomplished high functional group tolerance of the designed protocol. The antimicrobial activity of synthesized compounds was performed against Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli ATCC 25922 and P. aeruginosa ATCC 27853), Gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus ATCC 25923 and B. subtilis ATCC 6633) and fungus (A. niger ATCC 16404) using broth micro dilution method. Functionalized graphene has been prepared and employed for the solvent-free synthesis of some novel and known benzoyl-1,4-diazanaphthalene from the condensation of various arylglyoxals with 4-bezoyl-1,2-phenylenediamine. Catalyst loads as low as 0.003 g could be used leading to high yields of pure products. Magnetic, geometry, and electronically based indices have been also employed to investigate the correlation between aromaticity variation in new formed ring (ring A) and yield of reaction.
