Abstract

The article reports on the celebration of the Midnight Mass by Roman Catholics and Anglicans in Poland starting December 25 to mark the beginning of Christmas Day. It highlights the tradition practiced by Polish citizens during the celebration of Christmas Eve including Pasterka or a midnight church mass, caroling, and making loud noise. Meanwhile, it encourages the Polish communities in the U.S. to preserve the ethnic identity and culture of their ancestors.
