Abstract

The article discusses the effect of transverse femoral stresses due to locomotion in theropod dinosaurs in the case of an unchanging leg geometry. The vertical ground force acting on foot with the ground reaction force acting on lower part of the femur of length is included. The locomotion of large theropods is limited by the strength of their leg bones to resist bending torques and causingto have less freedom of movement and to have less agility than small theropods.
