We discuss a new class of neutrino mass models generated in two loops, and explore specifically three new physics scenarios: (A) doubly charged scalar, (B) dark matter, and (C) leptoquark and diquark, which are verifiable at the 14 TeV LHC Run-II. We point out how the different Higgs insertions will distinguish our two-loop topology with others if the new particles in the loop are in the simplest representations of the SM gauge group.

The Higgs boson production can be affected by several anomalous couplings, e.g. c t and c g anomalous couplings. Precise measurement of g g → h production yields two degenerate parameter spaces of c t and c g ; one parameter space exhibits the SM limit while the other does not. Such a degeneracy could be resolved by Higgs boson pair production. In this work we adapt the strategy suggested by the ATLAS collaboration to explore the potential of distinguishing the degeneracy at the 14 TeV LHC. If the c t anomalous coupling is induced only by the operator H † H Q ¯ L H ˜ t R , then the non-SM-like band could be excluded with an integrated luminosity of ∼ 210 fb − 1 . Making use of the fact that the Higgs boson pair is mainly produced through an s-wave scattering, we propose an analytical function to describe the fraction of signal events surviving a series of experimental cuts for a given invariant mass of Higgs boson pair. The function is model independent and can be applied to estimate the discovery potential of various NP models.

We investigate the production of beyond-the-standard-model color sextet vector bosons at the Large Hadron Collider and their decay into a pair of same-sign top quarks. We demonstrate that the energy of the charged lepton from the top quark semi-leptonic decay serves as a good measure of the top quark polarization, which, in turn determines the quantum numbers of the boson and distinguishes vector bosons from scalars.

Recent observatons of high-energy positrons and electrons by the PAMELA and ATIC experiments may be an indication of the annihilation of dark matter into leptons and not quarks. This leptonic connection was foreseen already some years ago in two different models of radiative neutrino mass. We discuss here the generic interactions (nu eta^0 - l eta^+) chi and l^c zeta^- chi^c which allow this to happen, where chi and/or chi^c are fermionic dark-matter candidates. We calculate the production cross section of the ``CP-odd'' Higgs boson via gluon fusion in the minimal supersymmetric standard model with explicit CP violation in the stop sector. We show that there is a parameter region in which the cross section is enhanced by a factor of about 1000, as compared to the case without CP violation in the stop sector. In the parameter region where the ``CP-odd'' Higgs boson can decay into a stop pair, the stop pair events will be the important signature of the enhanced ``CP-odd'' Higgs boson. In the case where the ``CP-odd'' Higgs boson cannot decay into any superparticles, the gamma gamma and tau tau decay channels could become important for discovering the ``CP-odd'' Higgs boson.
