The parity-even time-reversal-odd five-fold correlation has been studied in 2 MeV polarized neutron transmission through a rotating, cryogenically-aligned 165Ho target. The analyzing power was found to be (1 ± 6) × 10−4, consistent with time reversal invariance. We obtain a bound of 5 × 10−3 for αT, the ratio of T-odd to T-even couplings in the effective N−N interaction.

The reaction 14 C( 7 Li,t) 18 O has been studied at 20.4 MeV bombarding energy. States in 18 O up to excitation energies of 12.5 MeV have been observed. The data provide evidence that the 6 + state at 11.69 MeV belongs to the ground state rotational band.

Experimental evidence for two-step processes in reactions with spherical nuclei is obtained from a study of 54 Fe(p, d) 53 Fe angular distributions for low-lying 9 2 − and 11 2 − states. Predictions of the coupled-channel Born approximation give excellent agreement with the data.
