Abstract: We report branching fraction measurements of the decays B+ -> eta l(+)v(l) and B+ -> eta'l(+)v(l) based on 711 fb(-1) of data collected near the (sic)(4S) resonance with the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. This data sample contains 772 million B (B) over bar events. One of the two B mesons is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode. Among the remaining ("signal-B") daughters, we search for the eta meson in two decay channels, eta -> gamma gamma and eta -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(0), and reconstruct the eta' meson in eta' -> eta pi(+)pi(-) with subsequent decay of the eta into gamma gamma Combining the two. modes and using an extended maximum likelihood, the B+ -> eta l(+)v(l) branching fraction is measured to be (4.2 +/- 1.1 (stat.) +/- 0.3 (syst.)) x 10(-5). For B+ -> eta l(+)v(l),we observe no significant signal and set an upper limit of 0.72 x 10(-4) at 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We present the results of a search for the rare decays $B\ensuremath{\rightarrow}h\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, where $h$ stands for ${K}^{+},{K}_{\mathrm{S}}^{0},\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}{{K}^{*}}^{+},{{K}^{*}}^{0},{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+},{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0},{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{+}$ and ${\ensuremath{\rho}}^{0}$. The results are obtained with $772\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}\text{ }\text{ }B\overline{B}$ pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider. We reconstruct one $B$ meson in a semileptonic decay and require a single $h$ meson but nothing else on the signal side. We observe no significant signal and set upper limits on the branching fractions. The limits set on the ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}_{\mathrm{S}}^{0}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{{K}^{*}}^{0}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${B}^{+}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{+}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, and ${B}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{0}\ensuremath{\nu}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$ channels are the world's most stringent.

Abstract: We report the first measurement of the T-odd moments in the decay D-0 -> K-S(0) pi + pi(-)pi(0) from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 966 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. From these moments we determine the CP-violation-sensitive asymmetry a(CP)(T-odd) = [-0.28 +/- 1.38 (stat.)(-0.76)(+0.23) (syst.)] x 10(-3) , which is consistent with no CP violation. In addition, we perform a(CP)(T-odd) measurements in different regions of the D-0 -> K-S(0) pi + pi(-)pi(0) phase space;these are also consistent with no CP violation.

Abstract: We report a search for a dark vector gauge boson U' that couples to quarks in the decay chain D*(+) -> D-0 pi(+), D-0 -> K-S(0) eta, eta -> U'gamma, U' -> pi(+)pi- No signal is found and we set a mass-dependent limit on the baryonic fine structure constant of 10(-3)-10(-2) in the U' mass range of 290 to 520 MeV/c(2). This analysis is based on a data sample of 976 fb(-1) collected by the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the ratio R(D*) = B((B) over bar (0) -> D*(+)tau(-)(nu) over bar (tau))/B((B) over bar (0) -> D*(+)l(-)(nu) over bar (l))where l denotes an electron or a muon. The results are based on a data sample containing 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs recorded at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. We select a sample of B-0(B) over bar (0) pairs by reconstructing both B mesons in semileptonic decays to D*(-/+)l(+/-). We measure R(D*) = 0.302 +/- 0.030(stat) +/- 0.011(syst), which is within 1.6 sigma of the Standard Model theoretical expectation, where the standard deviation sigma includes systematic uncertainties. We use this measurement to constrain several scenarios of new physics in a model-independent approach.

Abstract: We report the discovery of Ξc(3055)0, observed by its decay into the final-state ΛD0, and present the first observation and evidence of the decays of Ξc(3055)+ and Ξc(3080)+ into ΛD+. We also perform a combined analysis of the ΛD+ with the Σc++K- and Σc∗++K- decay modes to measure the ratios of branching fractions, masses and widths with improved accuracy. We measure the ratios of branching fractions B(Ξc(3055)+→ΛD+)/B(Ξc(3055)+→Σc++K-)=5.09±1.01±0.76, B(Ξc(3080)+→ΛD+)/B(Ξc(3080)+→Σc++K-)=1.29±0.30±0.15, and B(Ξc(3080)+→Σc∗++K-)/B(Ξc(3080)+→Σc++K-)=1.07±0.27±0.04, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic. The analysis is performed using a 980 fb-1 data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider.

Abstract: We present a search for a non-Standard-Model invisible particle X-0 in the mass range 0.1-1.8 GeV/c(2) in B+ -> e(+)X(0) and B+ -> mu X-+(0) decays. The results are obtained from a 711 fb(-1) data sample that corresponds to 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. One B meson is fully reconstructed in a hadronic mode to determine the momentum of the lepton of the signal decay in the rest frame of the recoiling partner B meson. We find no evidence of a signal and set upper limits on the order of 10(-6).

Abstract: The process gamma gamma -> p (p) over barK(+)K(-) and its intermediate processes are measured for the first time using a 980 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The production of p (p) over barK(+)K(-) and a Lambda(1520)(0) ((Lambda) over bar (1520)(0)) signal in the pK(-) ((p) over barK(+)) invariant mass spectrum are clearly observed. However, no evidence for an exotic baryon near 1540 MeV/c(2), denoted as Theta(1540)(0) ((Theta) over bar (1540)(0)) or Theta(1540)(++) (Theta(1540)(--)), is seen in the pK(-) ((p) over barK(+)) or pK(+) ((p) over barK(-)) invariant mass spectra. Cross sections for gamma gamma -> p (p) over barK(+)K(-), Lambda(1520)(0)(p) over barK(+) + c.c. and the products sigma(gamma gamma -> Theta(1540)(0)(p) over barK(+) + c.c.)B(Theta(1540)(0) -> pK(-)) and sigma(gamma gamma -> Theta(1540)(++)(p) over barK(-) + c.c.)B(Theta(1540)(++) -> pK(+)) are measured. We also determine upper limits on the products of the chi(c0) and chi(c2) two-photon decay widths and their branching fractions to p (p) over barK(+)K(-) at the 90% credibility level.

Abstract: The branching fractions of the Upsilon(1S) inclusive decays into final states with a J/psi or psi(2S) are measured with improved precision to be B Upsilon(1S) -> J/psi + anything = (5.25 +/- 0.13(stat) +/- 0.25(syst) x 10(-4) and B Upsilon(1S) -> psi(2S) + anything = (1.23 +/- 0.17(stat) +/- 0.11(syst)) x 10(-4). The first search for Upsilon(1S) decays into XYZ states that decay into a J/psi or a psi(2S) plus one or two charged tracks yields no significant signals for XYZ states in any of the examined decay modes, and upper limits on their production rates in Upsilon(1S) inclusive decays are determined.

Abstract: We have searched for the decay B-0 -> phi gamma sing the full Belle data set of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected at the gamma(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. No signal is observed, and we set an upper limit on the branching fraction of B(B-0 -> phi gamma) < 1.0 x 10(-7) at the 90% confidence level. This is the most stringent limit on this decay mode to date.

Abstract: We report inclusive and exclusive measurements for chi(c1) and chi(c2) production in B decays. We measure B(B -> chi X-c1) = (3.03 +/- 0.05 (stat) +/- 0.24(syst)) x 10(-3) and B(B -> chi X-c2) = (0.70 +/- 0.06 (stat) +/- 0.10(syst)) x 10(-3). For the first time, chi(c2) production in exclusive B decays in the modes B-0 -> chi(c2) pi K--(+) and B-0 -> chi(c2) pi(-)pi K-+(+) has been observed, along with first evidence for the B-0 -> chi(c2) pi K--(s)0 decay mode. For chi c1 production, we report the first observation in the B+ -> chi(c1) pi(-)pi K-+(+), B-0 -> chi(c1) pi(-)pi K-+(s)0 and B-0 -> chi(c1) pi(-)pi K-+(+) decay modes. Using these decay modes, we observe a difference in the production mechanism of chi(c2) in comparison to chi(c1) in B decays. In addition, we report searches for X(3872) and chi(c1) (2P) in the B+ -> (chi(c1) pi(+)pi(-))K+ decay mode. The reported results use 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar events collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider.

Abstract: We report the first measurement of the lepton forward-backward asymmetry AFB as a function of the squared four-momentum of the dilepton system, q2, for the electroweak penguin process B→Xsl+l- with a sum of exclusive final states, where l is an electron or a muon and Xs is a hadronic recoil system with an s quark. The results are based on a data sample containing 772×106 BB¯ pairs recorded at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. AFB for the inclusive B→Xsl+l- is extrapolated from the sum of 10 exclusive Xs states whose invariant mass is less than 2 GeV/c2. For q2>10.2 GeV2/c2, AFB

Abstract: We present a measurement of the branching fraction and the longitudinal polarization fraction of B-0 -> rho(+)rho(-) decays, as well as the time-dependent CP violating parameters in decays into longitudinally polarized rho(+)rho(-) pairs with Belle's final data set of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, at the Upsilon(4S) resonance, collected at the asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider KEKB. We obtain B(B-0 -> rho(+)rho(-)) = (28.3 +/- 1.5(stat) +/- 1.5(syst)) x 10(-6), f(L) = 0.988 +/- 0.012(stat) +/- 0.023(syst), A(CP) = 0.00 +/- 0.10(stat) +/- 0.06(syst), S-CP = -0.13 +/- 0.15(stat) +/- 0.05(syst). We perform an isospin analysis to constrain the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle phi(2) and obtain two solutions with phi(2) = (93.7 +/- 10.6)degrees, being most compatible with other Standard-Model based fits to the data.

Abstract: We present a determination of the magnitude of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element vertical bar V-cb vertical bar using the decay B -> Dl nu(l) (l = e,mu) based on 711 fb(-1) of e(+)e(-) -> Upsilon(4S) data recorded by the Belle detector and containing 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs. One B meson in the event is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode, while the other, on the signal side, is partially reconstructed from a charged lepton and either a D+ or D-0 meson in a total of 23 hadronic decay modes. The isospin-averaged branching fraction of the decay B -> Dl nu(l) is found to be B(B-0 -> D(-)l(vertical bar)nu(l)) = (2.31 +/- 0.03(stat) +/- 0.11(syst))%. Analyzing the differential decay rate as a function of the hadronic recoil with the parametrization of Caprini, Lellouch, and Neubert and using the form-factor prediction G(1) = 1.0541 +/- 0.0083 calculated by FNAL/MILC, we obtain eta(EW)vertical bar V-cb vertical bar = (40.12 +/- 1.34) x 10(-3), where eta(EW) is the electroweak correction factor. Alternatively, assuming the model-independent form-factor parametrization of Boyd, Grinstein, and Lebed and using lattice QCD data from the FNAL/MILC and HPQCD collaborations, we find eta(EW)vertical bar V-cb vertical bar = (41.10 +/- 1.14) x 10(-3).

Abstract: We search for the process B-0 -> pi(-) tau(+)nu(tau) using the full Belle data set of 711 fb(-1), corresponding to 772 x 10(6)B (B) over bar pairs, collected at the gamma (4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We reconstruct one B meson in a hadronic decay and search for the B-0 -> pi(-)tau(+)nu(tau) process in the remainder of the event. No significant signal is observed and an upper limit of B(B-0 -> pi(-) tau(+)nu(tau)) < 2.5 x 10(-4) is obtained at the 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We report the first measurement of the lepton forward-backward asymmetry AFB as a function of the squared four-momentum of the dilepton system, q2, for the electroweak penguin process B→Xs+- with a sum of exclusive final states, where is an electron or a muon and Xs is a hadronic recoil system with an s quark. The results are based on a data sample containing 772×106 BB¯ pairs recorded at the (4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- collider. Abstract: We report new measurements of the total cross sections for e(+)e(-) -> Upsilon(nS)pi(+)pi(-) (n = 1, 2, 3) and e(+)e(-) -> b (b) over bar from a high-luminosity fine scan of the region root s = 10.63-11.05 GeV with the Belle detector. We observe that the Upsilon(nS)pi(+)pi(-) spectra have little or no nonresonant component and extract from them the masses and widths of Upsilon(10860) and Upsilon(11020) and their relative phase. We find M-10860 = (10891.1 +/- 3.2(-1.7)(+0.6)) MeV/c(2) and Gamma(10860) = (53.7(-5.6)(-5.4)(+7.1)(+1.3)) MeV and report first measurements M-11020 = (1098(-2.5)(-2.1)(+6.4)(+9.0)) MeV/c(2), Gamma(11020) = (61(-19)(-20)(+9)(+2)) MeV, and phi(11020) - phi 10860 = (-1.0 +/- 0.4(-0.1)(+1.4)) rad.

Abstract: We derive the decay widths for the leptonic decays of heavy charged pseudoscalars to massive sterile neutrinos, ${M}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}+N$, within the frameworks involving the Standard Model and two-Higgs doublets (type II). We then apply the result to ${B}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\tau}}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}+``\text{missing momentum}''$ of the Belle/BABAR experimental results, in order to measure directly the relevant parameter space, including the mixing parameter ${U}_{\ensuremath{\tau}N}$.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the branching fraction ratios R(D)(()*()) of (B) over bar -> D-(*())tau(-)(nu) over bar (tau) relative to (B) over bar -> D-(*())l(-)(nu) over barl (where l = e or mu) using the full Belle data sample of 772 x 10(6)B (B) over bar pairs collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The measured values are R(D) = 0.375 +/- 0.064(stat) +/- 0.026(syst) and R(D*) = 0.293 +/- 0.038 (stat) +/- 0.015 (syst). The analysis uses hadronic reconstruction of the tag-side B meson and purely leptonic t decays. The results are consistent with earlier measurements and do not show a significant deviation from the standard model prediction.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the branching fraction of B+ -> tau(+) nu(tau) decays using a data sample of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We reconstruct the accompanying B meson in a semileptonic decay and detect the recoiling B candidate in the decay channel B+ -> tau(+) nu(tau). We obtain a branching fraction of B(B+ -> tau(+) nu(tau)) = [1.25 +/- 0.28(stat.) +/- 0.27(syst.)] x 10-(4). This result is in good agreement with previous measurements and the expectation from the calculation based on the Standard Model.

Abstract: We report on the first observations of (B) over bar (0) -> D-1 (2430)(0)omega, (B) over bar (0) -> D-1 (2420)(0)omega, and (B) over bar (0) -> D-2* (2460)(0)omega decays. The (B) over bar (0) -> D*(+) rho(1450)(-) decay is also observed. The branching fraction measurements are based on (771.6 +/- 10.6) x 10(6) B (B) over bar events collected at the Upsilon(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The fractions of longitudinal polarization of the D** states as well as partial wave fractions of the D-1 (2430)(0) are obtained. We also set a 90% confidence level upper limit for the product of branching fractions of B((B) over bar (0) -> D*(+)b(1) (1235)(-)) x B(b(1) (1235)(-) -> omega pi(-)). The measurements show evidence of nontrivial final-state interaction phases for the rho-meson-like amplitudes.

Abstract: The process e(+)e(-) -> gamma chi(cJ) (J = 1, 2) is studied via initial state radiation using 980 fb(-1) of data at and around the Gamma(nS) (n = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) resonances collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetricenergy e(+)e(-) collider. No significant signal is observed except from psi(2S) decays. Upper limits on the cross sections between root s = 3.80 and 5.56 GeV are determined at the 90% credibility level, which range from a few pb to a few tens of pb. We also set upper limits on the decay rate of the vector charmonium [psi(4040), psi(4160), and psi(4415)] and charmoniumlike [Y(4260), Y(4360), and Y(4660)] states to gamma chi(cJ).

Abstract: We report results on studies of the e(+)e(-) annihilation into three-body Upsilon(nS)pi(+)pi(-) (n = 1, 2, 3) final states including measurements of cross sections and the full amplitude analysis. The cross sections measured at root s = 10.866 GeV and corrected for the initial state radiation are sigma(e(+)e(-) --> Upsilon(1S)pi(+)pi(-)) = (2.27 +/- 0.12 +/- 0.14) pb, sigma(e(+)e(-) --> Upsilon(2S)pi(+)pi(-)) = (4.07 +/- 0.16 +/- 0.45) pb, and sigma(e(+)e(-) --> Upsilon(3S)pi(+)pi(-)) = (1.46 +/- 0.09 +/- 0.16) pb. Amplitude analysis of the three-body Upsilon(nS)pi(+)pi(-) final states strongly favors I-G(J(P)) = 1(+)(1(+)) quantum-number assignments for the two bottomonium-like Z(b)(+/-) states, recently observed in the Upsilon(nS)pi(+) and h(b)(mP)pi(+)(m = 1, 2) decay channels. The results are obtained with a 121.4 fb(-1) data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider.

Abstract: We present a search for the rare leptonic decays B+ -> e(+)nu(e) and B+ -> mu(+) nu(mu) using the full Upsilon(4S) data sample of 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. One of the B mesons from the Upsilon(4S) -> B (B) over bar decay is fully reconstructed in a hadronic mode, while the recoiling side is analyzed for the signal decay. We find no evidence of a signal in any of the decay modes. Upper limits of the corresponding branching fractions are determined as beta(B+ -> e(+)nu(e)) mu(+)nu(mu)) < 2.7 x 10(-6) at 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We report a measurement of the B0 and B+ meson decays to the D- sK0 Sπ+ and D- sK+K+ final states, respectively, using 657 × 106BB¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e+ collider. Using the D- s → φ π-, K∗(892)0K- and K0 SK- decay modes for the Ds reconstruction, we measure the following branching fractions: B(B0 → D- sK0 sπ+) = [0.47 ± 0.06(stat) ± 0.05(syst)] × 10-4 and B(B+ → D- sK+K+) = [0.93 ± 0.22(stat) ± 0.10(syst)] × 10-5. We find the ratio of the branching fraction of B+ → D- sK+K+ to that of the analogous Cabibbo-favored B+ → D- sK+π+ decay to be RB = 0.054 ± 0.013(stat) ± 0.006(syst), which is consistent with the naive factorization model. We also observe a deviation of the DsK invariant-mass distribution from the three-body phase-space model for both studied decays.

Abstract: Using data samples of 102 x 10(6) gamma(1S) and 158 x 10(6) gamma(2S) events collected with the Belle detector, a first experimental search has been made for double-charmonium production in the exclusive decays gamma(1S, 2S) --> J/psi(psi') + X, where X = eta(c).chi(cJ) (J = 0, 1, 2), eta(c)(2S), X(3940), and X(4160). No significant signal is observed in the spectra of the mass recoiling against the reconstructed J/psi or psi' except for the evidence of chi(c1) production with a significance of 4.6 sigma for gamma(1S) -> J/psi + chi(c1). The measured branching fraction B(gamma(1S) -> J/psi + chi(c1)) is [3.90 +/- 1.21 (stat) +/- 0.23(syst) x 10(-6). The 90% C.L. upper limits on the branching fractions of the other modes having a significance of less than 3 sigma are determined. These results are consistent with theoretical calculations using the nonrelativistic QCD factorization approach.

Abstract: We report a search for charmless hadronic decays of neutral B mesons to eta ' K* (892)(0). The results are based on a 711 fb(-1) data sample that contains 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs, collected at the gamma(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy e(+)e(-) collider. We observe the decay for the first time with a significance of 5.0 standard deviations and obtain its branching fraction B[B-0 -> eta ' K* (892)(0)] = [2.6 +/- 0.7(stat) +/- 0.2(syst)] x 10(-6). We also measure the CP-violating asymmetry as A(CP) [B-0 -> eta ' K* (892)(0)] = -0.22 +/- 0.29(stat) +/- 0.07(syst).

Abstract: We report a measurement of D-0-(D) over bar(0) mixing parameters and a search for indirect CP violation through a time-dependent amplitude analysis of D-0 -> K-S(0)pi(+)pi(-) decays. The results are based on 921 fb(-1) of data accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. Assuming CP conservation, we measure the mixing parameters x = (0.56 +/- 0.19(-0.09-0.09)(+0.03+0.06))% and y = (0.30 +/- 0.15(-0.05-0.06)(+0.04+0.03))%, where the errors are statistical, experimental systematic, and systematic due to the amplitude model, respectively. With CP violation allowed, the parameters vertical bar q/p vertical bar = 0.90(-0.15-0.04-0.05)(+0.16+0.05+0.06) and arg(q/p) = (- 6 +/- 11 +/- 3(-4)(+3))degrees are found to be consistent with conservation of CP symmetry in mixing and in the interference between mixing and decay, respectively.

Abstract: We present measurements of the masses and decay widths of the baryonic states Σc(2455)0/++ and Σc(2520)0/++ using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 711fb-1 collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e+e- asymmetric-energy collider operating at the (4S) resonance. We report the mass differences with respect to the Λc+ baryon M(Σc(2455)0)-M(Λc+)=167.29±0.01±0.02MeV/c2, M(Σc(2455)++)-M(Λc+)=167.51±0.01±0.02MeV/c2, M(Σc(2520)0)-M(Λc+)=231.98±0.11±0.04MeV/c2, M(Σc(2520)++)-M(Λc+)=231.99±0.10±0.02MeV/c2,and the decay widths Γ(Σc(2455)0)=1.76±0.04-0.21+0.09MeV/c2, Γ(Σc(2455)++)=1.84±0.04-0.20+0.07MeV/c2,Γ(Σ c(2520)0)=15.41±0.41-0.32+0.20MeV/c2,Γ(Σc(2520)++)=14. 77±0.25-0.30+0.18MeV/c2,where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. The isospin mass splittings are measured to be M(Σc(2455)++)-M(Σc(2455)0)=0.22±0.01±0.01MeV/c2 and M(Σc(2520)++)-M(Σc(2520)0)=0.01±0.15±0.03MeV/c2. Abstract: The cross sections of the processes e(+)e(-)-> K(+)K(-)J/Psi and K(s)(0)K(s)(0)J/Psi are measured via initial state radiation at center-of-mass energies between the threshold and 6.0 GeV using a data sample of 980 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector on or near the r(nS) resonances, where n=1,2,..5. The cross sections for e(+)e(-)-> K(+)K(-)J/Psi are at a few pb level and the average cross section for K(s)(0)K(s)(0)J/Psi is 1.8 +/- 0.6 (stat)+/- 0.3(syst) pb between 4.4 and 5.2 GeV. All of them are consistent with previously published results with improved precision. A search for resonant structures and associated intermediate states in the cross section of the process e(+)e(-)-> K(+)K(-)J/Psi is performed.

Abstract: We report measurements of branching fractions of tau lepton decays to final states with a K-S(0) meson using a 669 fb(-1) data sample accumulated with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. The inclusive branching fraction is measured to be beta(tau(-) -> (KSX-)-X-0 nu(tau)) = (9.15 +/- 0.01 +/- 0.15) X 10(-3), where X- can be anything; the exclusive branching fractions are beta(tau(-) -> pi(-) K-S(0)nu(tau)) = (4.16 +/- 0.01 +/- 0.08) X 10(-3), beta(tau(-) -> K- K-S(0)nu(tau)) = (7.40 +/- 0.07 +/- 0.27) X 10(-4), beta(tau(-) -> pi(-) K-S(0)pi(0)nu(tau)) = (1.93 +/- 0.02 +/- 0.07) X 10(-3), beta(tau(-) -> K- K-S(0)pi(0)nu(tau)) = (7.48 +/- 0.10 +/- 0.37) X 10(-4), beta(tau(-) -> pi(-) (KSKS0)-K-0 nu(tau)) = (2.33 +/- 0.03 +/- 0.09) X 10(-4), beta(tau(-) -> pi(-) (KSKS0)-K-0 pi(0)nu(tau)) = (2.00 +/- 0.22 +/- 0.20) X 10(-5), where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. For each mode, the accuracy is improved over that of pre-B-factory measurements by a factor ranging from five to ten. In tau(-) -> pi(-) (KSKS0)-K-0 pi(0)nu(tau) decays, clear signals for the intermediate states tau(-) -> pi(-) f(1)(1285)nu(tau) and tau(-) -> K*- K-S(0)pi(0)nu(tau) are observed.

Abstract: We present a study of the branching fraction of the decay B-0 -> rho(0)rho(0) and the fraction of longitudinally polarized rho(0) mesons in this decay. The results are obtained from the final data sample containing 772 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected at the gamma(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collider. We find 166 +/- 59 B-0 -> rho(0)rho(0) events (including systematic uncertainties), corresponding to a branching fraction of B(B-0 -> rho(0)rho(0)) = (1.02 +/- 0.30(stat) +/- 0.15(syst)) x 10(-6) with a significance of 3.4 standard deviations and a longitudinal polarization fraction f(L) = 0.21(-0.22)(+0.18()stat) +/- 0.15(syst). We use the longitudinal polarization fraction to determine the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix angle phi(2) = (84.9 +/- 13.5)degrees through an isospin analysis in the B ->rho rho system. We furthermore find 125 +/- 41 B-0 -> f(0)rho(0) events, corresponding to B(B-0 -> f(0)rho(0)) x B(f(0) -> pi(+)pi(-)) = (0.78 +/- 0.22(stat) +/- 0.11(syst)) x 10(-6), with a significance of 3.1 standard deviations. We find no other significant contribution with the same final state, and set upper limits at 90% confidence level on the (product) branching fractions, B(B-0 -> pi(+)pi(-)pi(+)pi(-)) rho(0)pi(+)pi(-)) f(0)pi(+)pi(-)) x B(f(0) -> pi(+)pi(-)) f(0)f(0)) x B(f(0) -> pi(+)pi(-))(2) < 0.2 x 10(-6).

Abstract: We present a measurement of the charge-parity (CP) violating parameters in B0→π+π- decays. The results are obtained from the final data sample containing 772×106 BB pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. We obtain the CP violation parameters ACP(B0→π+π-)=+0.33±0.06(stat)±0.03(syst),SCP(B0→π+π-)=-0.64±0.08(stat)±0.03(syst),where ACP and SCP represent the direct and mixing-induced CP asymmetries in B0→π+π- decays, respectively. Using an isospin analysis including results from other Belle measurements, we find 23.8

Abstract: We report the results of several studies of the Λc+π+π-X final state in continuum e+e- annihilation data collected by the Belle detector. An analysis of angular distributions in Λc(2880)+→Σc(2455)0, ++π+,- decays strongly favors a Λc(2880)+ spin assignment of 52 over 32 or 12. We find evidence for Λc(2880)+→Σc(2520)0,++π+,- decay and measure the ratio of Λc(2880)+ partial widths Γ(Σc(2520)π)/Γ(Σc(2455)π)=0.225±0. 062±0.025. This value favors the Λc(2880)+ spin-parity assignment of 52+ over 52-. We also report the first observation of Λc(2940) +→Σc(2455)0,++π+,- decay and measure Λc(2880)+ and Λc(2940)+ mass and width parameters. These studies are based on a 553fb-1 data sample collected at or near the Υ(4S) resonance at the KEKB collider. © 2007 The American Physical Society.

Abstract: We report the first observation of the Cabibbo-suppressed decays $\Xi_c^0\rightarrow \Xi^- K^+$, $\Xi_c^0\ra\Lambda K^+ K^-$ and $\Xi_c^0\rightarrow \Lambda \phi$, using a data sample of $711\, \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. We measure the ratios of branching fractions to be $\frac{{\cal B}(\Xi_c^0\ra \Xi^- K^+)}{{\cal B}(\Xi^0_c\ra\Xi^-\pi^+)}=(2.75\pm 0.51\pm 0.25)\times 10^{-2}$, $\frac{{\cal B}(\Xi_c^0\ra\Lambda K^+ K^-)}{{\cal B}(\Xi_c^0\rightarrow\Xi^- \pi^+)}=(2.86\pm 0.61\pm 0.24)\times 10^{-2}$ and $\frac{{\cal B}(\Xi_c^0\ra \Lambda\phi)}{{\cal B}(\Xi^0_c\ra\Xi^-\pi^+)}=(3.43\pm 0.58\pm 0.32)\times 10^{-2}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic., Comment: 8 pages, 6 figures, submitted to PRD(RC)

Abstract: We report the results of a study of the exclusive semileptonic decays ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$, ${\overline{B}}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$, ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$, ${\overline{B}}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$ and ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$, where $\ensuremath{\ell}$ represents an electron or a muon. The events are tagged by fully reconstructing a second $B$ meson in the event in a hadronic decay mode. The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}({B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}})=(0.80\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.08\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $\mathcal{B}({\overline{B}}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}})=(1.49\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.09\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.07)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $\mathcal{B}({B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{0}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}})=(1.83\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.10\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.10)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, $\mathcal{B}({\overline{B}}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\rho}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}})=(3.22\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.27\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.24)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, and $\mathcal{B}({B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\omega}{\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}})=(1.07\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.16\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.07)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}4}$, where the first error is statistical and the second one is systematic. The obtained branching fractions are inclusive of soft photon emission. We also determine the branching fractions as a function of the 4-momentum transfer squared to the leptonic system ${q}^{2}=({p}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}+{p}_{\ensuremath{\nu}}{)}^{2}$, where ${p}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$ and ${p}_{\ensuremath{\nu}}$ are the lepton and neutrino 4-momenta, respectively. Using the pion modes, a recent light cone sum rule calculation, lattice QCD results and a model-independent description of the hadronic form factor, a value of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|{V}_{ub}|=(3.52\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.29)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}3}$ is extracted. A structure in the two-pion invariant mass distribution near $1.3\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}/{c}^{2}$, which might be dominated by the decay ${B}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{f}_{2}(1270){\ensuremath{\ell}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}}_{\ensuremath{\ell}}$, ${f}_{2}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$, is seen. These results are obtained from a $711\text{ }\text{ }{\mathrm{fb}}^{\ensuremath{-}1}$ data sample that contains $772\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ pairs, collected near the $\ensuremath{\Upsilon}(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider.

Abstract: Using samples of 102 million Υ(1S) and 158 million Υ(2S) events collected with the Belle detector, we study exclusive hadronic decays of these two bottomonium resonances to KS0K+π- and charge-conjugate (c.c.) states, π+π-π0π0, and π+π-π0, and to the two-body Vector-Pseudoscalar (K*(892)0K0+c.c., K*(892)-K ++c.c., ωπ0, and ρπ) final states. For the first time, signals are observed in the modes Υ(1S)→KS0K+π -+c.c., π+π-π0π0, and Υ(2S)→π+π-π0π0, and evidence is found for the modes Υ(1S)→π+π-π0, K*(892)0K0+c.c., and Υ(2S)→KS0K +π-+c.c. Branching fractions are measured for all the processes, while 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions are also set for the modes with a statistical significance of less than 3σ. The ratios of the branching fractions of Υ(2S) and Υ(1S) decays into the same final state are used to test a perturbative QCD prediction for Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka-suppressed bottomonium decays. © 2013 American Physical Society.
