Abstract: We present results from a 3.25 kg-day target exposure of two silicon charge-coupled devices (CCDs), each with 24 megapixels and skipper readout, deployed in the DAMIC setup at SNOLAB. With a reduction in pixel readout noise of a factor of 10 relative to the previous detector, we investigate the excess population of low-energy events in the CCD bulk previously observed above expected backgrounds. We address the dominant systematic uncertainty of the previous analysis through a depth fiducialization designed to reject surface backgrounds on the CCDs. The measured bulk ionization spectrum confirms the presence of an excess population of low-energy events in the CCD target with characteristic rate of ∼7 events per kg-day and electron-equivalent energies of ∼80 eV, whose origin remains unknown.

Abstract: We present a validation of the Dark Energy Survey Year 3 (DES Y3) 3×2-point analysis choices by testing them on Buzzard2.0, a new suite of cosmological simulations that is tailored for the testing and validation of combined galaxy clustering and weak-lensing analyses. We show that the buzzard2.0 simulations accurately reproduce many important aspects of the DES Y3 data, including photometric redshift and magnitude distributions, and the relevant set of two-point clustering and weak-lensing statistics. We then show that our model for the 3×2-point data vector is accurate enough to recover the true cosmology in simulated surveys assuming the true redshift distributions for our source and lens samples, demonstrating robustness to uncertainties in the modeling of the nonlinear matter power spectrum, nonlinear galaxy bias, and higher-order lensing corrections. Additionally, we demonstrate for the first time that our photometric redshift calibration methodology, including information from photometry, spectroscopy, clustering cross-correlations, and galaxy-galaxy lensing ratios, is accurate enough to recover the true cosmology in simulated surveys in the presence of realistic photometric redshift uncertainties.

Abstract: We present high signal-to-noise measurements of three-point shear correlations and the third moment of the mass aperture statistic using the first 3 years of data from the Dark Energy Survey. We additionally obtain the first measurements of the configuration and scale dependence of the four three-point shear correlations which carry cosmological information. With the third-order mass aperture statistic, we present tomographic measurements over angular scales of 4 to 60 arcminutes with a combined statistical significance of 15.0σ. Using the tomographic information and measuring also the second-order mass aperture, we additionally obtain a skewness parameter and its redshift evolution. We find that the amplitudes and scale-dependence of these shear 3pt functions are in qualitative agreement with measurements in a mock galaxy catalog based on N-body simulations, indicating promise for including them in future cosmological analyses. We validate our measurements by showing that B-modes, parity-violating contributions and PSF modeling uncertainties are negligible, and determine that the measured signals are likely to be of astrophysical and gravitational origin.

Abstract: Using the first three years of data from the Dark Energy Survey (DES), we use ratios of small-scale galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements around the same lens sample to constrain source redshift uncertainties, intrinsic alignments and other systematics or nuisance parameters of our model. Instead of using a simple geometric approach for the ratios as has been done in the past, we use the full modeling of the galaxy-galaxy lensing measurements, including the corresponding integration over the power spectrum and the contributions from intrinsic alignments and lens magnification. We perform extensive testing of the small-scale shear-ratio (SR) modeling by studying the impact of different effects such as the inclusion of baryonic physics, nonlinear biasing, halo occupation distribution descriptions and lens magnification, among others, and using realistic N-body simulations of the DES data. We validate the robustness of our constraints in the data by using two independent lens samples with different galaxy properties, and by deriving constraints using the corresponding large-scale ratios for which the modeling is simpler. The results applied to the DES Y3 data demonstrate how the ratios provide significant improvements in constraining power for several nuisance parameters in our model, especially on source redshift calibration and intrinsic alignments. For source redshifts, SR improves the constraints from the prior by up to 38% in some redshift bins. Such improvements, and especially the constraints it provides on intrinsic alignments, translate to tighter cosmological constraints when shear ratios are combined with cosmic shear and other 2pt functions. In particular, for the DES Y3 data, SR improves S8 constraints from cosmic shear by up to 31%, and for the full combination of probes (3×2pt) by up to 10%. The shear ratios presented in this work are used as an additional likelihood for cosmic shear, 2×2pt and the full 3×2pt in the fiducial DES Y3 cosmological analysis.

Abstract: We present the first cosmology results from large-scale structure using the full 5000 deg2 of imaging data from the Dark Energy Survey (DES) Data Release 1. We perform an analysis of large-scale structure combining three two-point correlation functions (3×2pt): (i) cosmic shear using 100 million source galaxies, (ii) galaxy clustering, and (iii) the cross-correlation of source galaxy shear with lens galaxy positions, galaxy-galaxy lensing. To achieve the cosmological precision enabled by these measurements has required updates to nearly every part of the analysis from DES Year 1, including the use of two independent galaxy clustering samples, modeling advances, and several novel improvements in the calibration of gravitational shear and photometric redshift inference. The analysis was performed under strict conditions to mitigate confirmation or observer bias; we describe specific changes made to the lens galaxy sample following unblinding of the results and tests of the robustness of our results to this decision. We model the data within the flat ΛCDM and wCDM cosmological models, marginalizing over 25 nuisance parameters. We find consistent cosmological results between the three two-point correlation functions; their combination yields clustering amplitude S8=0.776-0.017+0.017 and matter density ωm=0.339-0.031+0.032 in ΛCDM, mean with 68% confidence limits; S8=0.775-0.024+0.026, ωm=0.352-0.041+0.035, and dark energy equation-of-state parameter w=-0.98-0.20+0.32 in wCDM. These constraints correspond to an improvement in signal-to-noise of the DES Year 3 3×2pt data relative to DES Year 1 by a factor of 2.1, about 20% more than expected from the increase in observing area alone. This combination of DES data is consistent with the prediction of the model favored by the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background (CMB) primary anisotropy data, which is quantified with a probability-to-exceed p=0.13-0.48. We find better agreement between DES 3×2pt and Planck than in DES Y1, despite the significantly improved precision of both. When combining DES 3×2pt data with available baryon acoustic oscillation, redshift-space distortion, and type Ia supernovae data, we find p=0.34. Combining all of these datasets with Planck CMB lensing yields joint parameter constraints of S8=0.812-0.008+0.008, ωm=0.306-0.005+0.004, h=0.680-0.003+0.004, and mν

Abstract: We study the processes e+e-→π+π-π0π0π0π0γ and π+π-π0π0π0ηγ in which an energetic photon is radiated from the initial state. The data were collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. About 7300 and 870 events, respectively, are selected from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 469 fb-1. The invariant mass of the hadronic final state defines the effective e+e- center-of-mass energy. The center-of-mass energies range from threshold to 4.5 GeV. From the mass spectra, the first ever measurements of the e+e-→π+π-π0π0π0π0 and the e+e-→π+π-π0π0π0η cross sections are performed. The contributions from ωπ0π0π0, ηπ+π-π0, ωη, and other intermediate states are presented. We observe the J/ψ and ψ(2S) in most of these final states and measure the corresponding branching fractions, many of them for the first time.

Abstract: The process e+e-→π+π-π0γ is studied at a center-of-mass energy near the D(4S) resonance using a data sample of 469 fb-1 collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II collider. We have performed a precise measurement of the e+e-→π+π-π0 cross section in the center-of-mass energy range from 0.62 to 3.5 GeV. In the energy regions of the ω and φ resonances, the cross section is measured with a systematic uncertainty of 1.3%. The leading-order hadronic contribution to the muon magnetic anomaly calculated using the measured e+e-→π+π-π0 cross section from threshold to 2.0 GeV is (45.86±0.14±0.58)×10-10. From the fit to the measured 3π mass spectrum we have determined the resonance parameters Γ(ω→e+e-)B(ω→π+π-π0)=(0.5698±0.0031±0.0082) keV, Γ(φ→e+e-)B(φ→π+π-π0)=(0.1841±0.0021±0.0080) keV, and B(ρ→3π)=(0.88±0.23±0.30)×10-4. The significance of the ρ→3π signal is greater than 6σ. For the J/ψ resonance we have measured the product Γ(J/ψ→e+e-)B(J/ψ→3π)=(0.1248±0.0019±0.0026) keV.

Abstract: We study the processes , , and using a data sample of recorded with the BABAR detector operating at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider at center-of-mass energies at and near the (, 3, 4) resonances. This is the first observation of the decay and we measure the branching fraction . Significant interference is observed between and the nonresonant two-photon process . A Dalitz plot analysis is performed of decays to , , and . Combined with our previous analysis of , we measure the parameters and the ratio between its and couplings. The decay is dominated by the resonance, also observed in radiative decays. A new resonance is observed in the channel. We also compare decays to and final states in association with scalar mesons as they relate to the identification of the scalar glueball.

Abstract: We study the processes e+e-→2(π+π-)π0π0π0γ and 2(π+π-)π0π0ηγ in which an energetic photon is radiated from the initial state. The data were collected with the BABAR detector at SLAC. About 14 000 and 4700 events, respectively, are selected from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 469 fb-1. The invariant mass of the hadronic final state defines the effective e+e- center-of-mass energy. The center-of-mass energies range from threshold to 4.5 GeV. From the mass spectra, the first ever measurements of the e+e-→2(π+π-)π0π0π0 and the e+e-→2(π+π-)π0π0η cross sections are performed. The contributions from ωπ+π-π0π0, η2(π+π-), and other intermediate states are presented. We observe the J/ψ and ψ(2S) in most of these final states and measure the corresponding branching fractions, many of them for the first time.

Abstract: We present a search for seven lepton-flavor-violating neutral charm meson decays of the type D0→X0e±μ, where X0 represents a π0, KS0, K̄∗0, ρ0, φ, ω, or η meson. The analysis is based on 468 fb-1 of e+e- annihilation data collected at or close to the (4S) resonance with the BABAR detector at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. No significant signals are observed, and we establish 90% confidence level upper limits on the branching fractions in the range (5.0-22.5)×10-7. The limits are between 1 and 2 orders of magnitude more stringent than previous measurements.

Abstract: Using the initial-state radiation method, the e+e-→KSKL cross section from 1.98 to 2.54 GeV is measured in a data sample of 469 fb-1 collected with the BABAR detector. The results are used in conjunction with previous BABAR results for the e+e-→K+K-, e+e-→π+π-, e+e-→π+π-η, and e+e-→ωππ cross sections to investigate the nature of the resonance structure recently observed by the BESIII experiment in the e+e-→K+K- cross section.

A total of 424 fb-1 of e+e-collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of the Ï'(4S) resonance is used in this study, corresponding to a sample of (471±3)×106 BB pairs. Signal B-→Λpνν candidates are identified by first fully reconstructing a B+ decay in one of many possible exclusive decays to hadronic final states, then examining detector activity that is not associated with this reconstructed B+ decay for evidence of a signal B-→Λpνν decay. The data yield is found to be consistent with the expected background contribution under a null signal hypothesis, resulting in an upper limit of B(B-→Λpνν)

Abstract: We perform a joint analysis of the auto and cross-correlations between threecosmic fields: the galaxy density field, the galaxy weak lensing shear field,and the cosmic microwave background (CMB) weak lensing convergence field. Thesethree fields are measured using roughly 1300 sq. deg. of overlapping opticalimaging data from first year observations of the Dark Energy Survey andmillimeter-wave observations of the CMB from both the South Pole TelescopeSunyaev-Zel'dovich survey and Planck. We present cosmological constraints fromthe joint analysis of the two-point correlation functions between galaxydensity and galaxy shear with CMB lensing. We test for consistency betweenthese measurements and the DES-only two-point function measurements, finding noevidence for inconsistency in the context of flat $\Lambda$CDM cosmologicalmodels. Performing a joint analysis of five of the possible correlationfunctions between these fields (excluding only the CMB lensing autospectrum)yields $S_{8}\equiv \sigma_8\sqrt{\Omega_{\rm m}/0.3} =0.782^{+0.019}_{-0.025}$ and $\Omega_{\rm m}=0.260^{+0.029}_{-0.019}$. We testfor consistency between these five correlation function measurements and thePlanck-only measurement of the CMB lensing autospectrum, again finding noevidence for inconsistency in the context of flat $\Lambda$CDM models.Combining constraints from all six two-point functions yields$S_{8}=0.776^{+0.014}_{-0.021}$ and $\Omega_{\rm m}= 0.271^{+0.022}_{-0.016}$.These results provide a powerful test and confirmation of the results from thefirst year DES joint-probes analysis.

Abstract: We present constraints on extensions of the minimal cosmological models dominated by dark matter and dark energy, ΛCDM and wCDM, by using a combined analysis of galaxy clustering and weak gravitational lensing from the first-year data of the Dark Energy Survey (DES Y1) in combination with external data. We consider four extensions of the minimal dark energy-dominated scenarios: (1) nonzero curvature ωk, (2) number of relativistic species Neff different from the standard value of 3.046, (3) time-varying equation-of-state of dark energy described by the parameters w0 and wa (alternatively quoted by the values at the pivot redshift, wp, and wa), and (4) modified gravity described by the parameters μ0 and ς0 that modify the metric potentials. We also consider external information from Planck cosmic microwave background measurements; baryon acoustic oscillation measurements from SDSS, 6dF, and BOSS; redshift-space distortion measurements from BOSS; and type Ia supernova information from the Pantheon compilation of datasets. Constraints on curvature and the number of relativistic species are dominated by the external data; when these are combined with DES Y1, we find ωk=0.0020-0.0032+0.0037 at the 68% confidence level, and the upper limit Neff3.0. For the time-varying equation-of-state, we find the pivot value (wp,wa)=(-0.91-0.23+0.19,-0.57-1.11+0.93) at pivot redshift zp=0.27 from DES alone, and (wp,wa)=(-1.01-0.04+0.04,-0.28-0.48+0.37) at zp=0.20 from DES Y1 combined with external data; in either case we find no evidence for the temporal variation of the equation of state. For modified gravity, we find the present-day value of the relevant parameters to be ς0=0.43-0.29+0.28 from DES Y1 alone, and (ς0,μ0)=(0.06-0.07+0.08,-0.11-0.46+0.42) from DES Y1 combined with external data. These modified-gravity constraints are consistent with predictions from general relativity.

Abstract: We study the processes e+e-→π+π-π0π0π0γ and π+π-π0π0ηγ in which an energetic photon is radiated from the initial state. The data are collected with the BABAR detector at SLAC. About 14 000 and 4700 events, respectively, are selected from a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 469 fb-1. The invariant mass of the hadronic final state defines the effective e+e- center-of-mass energy. From the mass spectra, the first precise measurement of the e+e-→π+π-π0π0π0 cross section and the first measurement ever of the e+e-→π+π-π0π0η cross section are performed. The center-of-mass energies range from threshold to 4.35 GeV. The systematic uncertainty is typically between 10% and 13%. The contributions from ωπ0π0, ηπ+π-, and other intermediate states are presented. We observe the J/ψ and ψ(2S) in most of these final states and measure the corresponding branching fractions, many of them for the first time.

Abstract: A search is presented for the four-body decay B0→ppp̄p̄ in a sample of 471 million BB̄ pairs collected with the BABAR detector, operated at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. The center-of-mass energy is 10.58 GeV. From a fit to the distribution of the energy-substituted mass mES, the branching fraction B(B0→ppp̄p̄)=(1.1±0.5±0.2)×10-7 is extracted, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The significance of the signal, including the systematic uncertainty, is 2.9 standard deviations. The upper limit on the branching fraction is determined to be 2.0×10-7 at 90% confidence level.

Abstract: We use 26×106 galaxies from the Dark Energy Survey (DES) Year 1 shape catalogs over 1321 deg2 of the sky to produce the most significant measurement of cosmic shear in a galaxy survey to date. We constrain cosmological parameters in both the flat ΛCDM and the wCDM models, while also varying the neutrino mass density. These results are shown to be robust using two independent shape catalogs, two independent photo-z calibration methods, and two independent analysis pipelines in a blind analysis. We find a 3.5% fractional uncertainty on σ8(Ωm/0.3)0.5=0.782-0.027+0.027 at 68% C.L., which is a factor of 2.5 improvement over the fractional constraining power of our DES Science Verification results. In wCDM, we find a 4.8% fractional uncertainty on σ8(Ωm/0.3)0.5=0.777-0.038+0.036 and a dark energy equation-of-state w=-0.95-0.39+0.33. We find results that are consistent with previous cosmic shear constraints in σ8 - Ωm, and we see no evidence for disagreement of our weak lensing data with data from the cosmic microwave background. Finally, we find no evidence preferring a wCDM model allowing w≠-1. We expect further significant improvements with subsequent years of DES data, which will more than triple the sky coverage of our shape catalogs and double the effective integrated exposure time per galaxy.

Abstract: We present cosmological results from a combined analysis of galaxy clustering and weak gravitational lensing, using 1321 deg2 of griz imaging data from the first year of the Dark Energy Survey (DES Y1). We combine three two-point functions: (i) the cosmic shear correlation function of 26 million source galaxies in four redshift bins, (ii) the galaxy angular autocorrelation function of 650,000 luminous red galaxies in five redshift bins, and (iii) the galaxy-shear cross-correlation of luminous red galaxy positions and source galaxy shears. To demonstrate the robustness of these results, we use independent pairs of galaxy shape, photometric-redshift estimation and validation, and likelihood analysis pipelines. To prevent confirmation bias, the bulk of the analysis was carried out while "blind" to the true results; we describe an extensive suite of systematics checks performed and passed during this blinded phase. The data are modeled in flat ΛCDM and wCDM cosmologies, marginalizing over 20 nuisance parameters, varying 6 (for ΛCDM) or 7 (for wCDM) cosmological parameters including the neutrino mass density and including the 457×457 element analytic covariance matrix. We find consistent cosmological results from these three two-point functions and from their combination obtain S8≡σ8(Ωm/0.3)0.5=0.773-0.020+0.026 and Ωm=0.267-0.017+0.030 for ΛCDM; for wCDM, we find S8=0.782-0.024+0.036, Ωm=0.284-0.030+0.033, and w=-0.82-0.20+0.21 at 68% C.L. The precision of these DES Y1 constraints rivals that from the Planck cosmic microwave background measurements, allowing a comparison of structure in the very early and late Universe on equal terms. Although the DES Y1 best-fit values for S8 and Ωm are lower than the central values from Planck for both ΛCDM and wCDM, the Bayes factor indicates that the DES Y1 and Planck data sets are consistent with each other in the context of ΛCDM. Combining DES Y1 with Planck, baryonic acoustic oscillation measurements from SDSS, 6dF, and BOSS and type Ia supernovae from the Joint Lightcurve Analysis data set, we derive very tight constraints on cosmological parameters: S8=0.802±0.012 and Ωm=0.298±0.007 in ΛCDM and w=-1.00-0.04+0.05 in wCDM. Upcoming Dark Energy Survey analyses will provide more stringent tests of the ΛCDM model and extensions such as a time-varying equation of state of dark energy or modified gravity.

Abstract: The decay τ-→K-KSντ has been studied using 430×106 e+e-→τ+τ- events produced at a center-of-mass energy around 10.6 GeV at the PEP-II collider and studied with the BABAR detector. The mass spectrum of the K-KS system has been measured and the spectral function has been obtained. The measured branching fraction B(τ-→K-KSντ)=(0.739±0.011(stat)±0.020(syst))×10-3 is found to be in agreement with earlier measurements.

Abstract: We study the (1S) radiative decays to γπ+π- and γK+K- using data recorded with the BABAR detector operating at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- collider at center-of-mass energies at the (2S) and (3S) resonances. The (1S) resonance is reconstructed from the decay (nS)→π+π-(1S), n=2, 3. Branching fraction measurements and spin-parity analyses of (1S) radiative decays are reported for the I=0 S-wave and f2(1270) resonances in the π+π- mass spectrum, the f2′(1525) and f0(1500) in the K+K- mass spectrum, and the f0(1710) in both.

Abstract: The process e+e-→π+π-2π0γ is investigated by means of the initial-state radiation technique, where a photon is emitted from the incoming electron or positron. Using 454.3 fb-1 of data collected around a center-of-mass energy of s=10.58 GeV by the BABAR experiment at SLAC, approximately 150000 signal events are obtained. The corresponding nonradiative cross section is measured with a relative uncertainty of 3.6% in the energy region around 1.5 GeV, surpassing all existing measurements in precision. Using this new result, the channel's contribution to the leading order hadronic vacuum polarization contribution to the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon is calculated as (gμπ+π-2π0-2)/2=(17.9±0.1stat±0.6syst)×10-10 in the energy range 0.85 GeV

Abstract: We report a Dalitz plot analysis of charmless hadronic decays of charged B mesons to the final state KS0π+π0 using the full BABAR data set of 470.9±2.8 million BB events collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance. We measure the overall branching fraction and CP asymmetry to be B(B+→K0π+π0)=(31.8±1.8±2.1-0.0+6.0)×10-6 and ACP(B+→K0π+π0)=0.07±0.05±0.03-0.03+0.02, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the signal model, respectively. This is the first measurement of the branching fraction for B+→K0π+π0. We find first evidence of a CP asymmetry in B+→K∗(892)+π0 decays: ACP(B+→K∗(892)+π0)=-0.52±0.14±0.04-0.02+0.04. The significance of this asymmetry, including systematic and model uncertainties, is 3.4 standard deviations. We also measure the branching fractions and CP asymmetries for three other intermediate decay modes.

Abstract: We report a Dalitz plot analysis of charmless hadronic decays of charged B mesons to the final state KS0π+π0 using the full BABAR data set of 470.9±2.8 million BB events collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance. We measure the overall branching fraction and CP asymmetry to be B(B+→K0π+π0)=(31.8±1.8±2.1-0.0+6.0)×10-6 and ACP(B+→K0π+π0)=0.07±0.05±0.03-0.03+0.02, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the signal model, respectively. This is the first measurement of the branching fraction for B+→K0π+π0. We find first evidence of a CP asymmetry in B+→K∗(892)+π0 decays: ACP(B+→K∗(892)+π0)=-0.52±0.14±0.04-0.02+0.04. The significance of this asymmetry, including systematic and model uncertainties, is 3.4 standard deviations. We also measure the branching fractions and CP asymmetries for three other intermediate decay modes.

Abstract: The processes e+e-→KS0K±π π0 and e+e-→KS0K±π η are studied over a continuum of energies from threshold to 4 GeV with the initial-state photon radiation method. Using 454 fb-1 of data collected with the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II storage ring, the first measurements of the cross sections for these processes are obtained. The intermediate resonance structures from K∗0(Kπ)0, K∗(892)±(Kπ) , and KS0K±ρ are studied. The J/ψ is observed in all of these channels, and corresponding branching fractions are measured.

Abstract: Based on the full BABAR data sample of 466.5 million BB pairs, we present measurements of the electron spectrum from semileptonic B meson decays. We fit the inclusive electron spectrum to distinguish Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) suppressed B→Xueν decays from the CKM-favored B→Xceν decays, and from various other backgrounds, and determine the total semileptonic branching fraction B(B→Xeν)=(10.34±0.04stat±0.26syst)%, averaged over B± and B0 mesons. We determine the spectrum and branching fraction for charmless B→Xueν decays and extract the CKM element |Vub|, by relying on four different QCD calculations based on the heavy quark expansion. While experimentally, the electron momentum region above 2.1 GeV/c is favored, because the background is relatively low, the uncertainties for the theoretical predictions are largest in the region near the kinematic endpoint. Detailed studies to assess the impact of these four predictions on the measurements of the electron spectrum, the branching fraction, and the extraction of the CKM matrix element |Vub| are presented, with the lower limit on the electron momentum varied from 0.8 GeV/c to the kinematic endpoint. We determine |Vub| using each of these different calculations and find, |Vub|=(3.794±0.107exp -0.219 SF+0.292 -0.068 theory+0.078)×10-3 (De Fazio and Neubert), (4.563±0.126exp -0.208 SF+0.230 -0.163 theory+0.162)×10-3 (Bosch, Lange, Neubert, and Paz), (3.959±0.104exp -0.154 SF+0.164 -0.079 theory+0.042)×10-3 (Gambino, Giordano, Ossola, and Uraltsev), (3.848±0.108exp -0.070 theory+0.084)×10-3 (dressed gluon exponentiation), where the stated uncertainties refer to the experimental uncertainties of the partial branching fraction measurement, the shape function parameters, and the theoretical calculations.

We measure the ratio of branching fractions R1=B(J/ψ→K+K-π0)B(J/ψ→π+π-π0) and R2=B(J/ψ→KS0K±π∓)B(J/ψ→π+π-π0). We perform Dalitz plot analyses of the three J/ψ decay modes and measure fractions for resonances contributing to the decays. We also analyze the J/ψ→π+π-π0 decay using the Veneziano model. We observe structures compatible with the presence of ρ(1450) in all three J/ψ decay modes and measure the relative branching fraction: R(ρ(1450))=B(ρ(1450)→K+K-)B(ρ(1450)→π+π-)=0.307±0.084(stat)±0.082(sys).

We present the first measurements of the e+e-→KS0KL0π0, KS0KL0η, and KS0KL0π0π0 cross sections up to a center-of-mass energy of 4 GeV and study their intermediate resonance structures. We observe J/ψ decays to all of these final states for the first time, present measurements of their J/ψ branching fractions, and search for ψ(2S) decays.

Abstract: Using a sample of (470.9±2.8)×106 BB pairs, we measure the decay branching fraction B(B0→D∗-π+π-π+)=(7.26±0.11±0.31)×10-3, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Our measurement will be helpful in studies of lepton universality by measuring B(B0→D∗-τ+ντ) using τ+→π+π-π+ντ decays, normalized to B(B0→D∗-π+π-π+).

Abstract: Many models of physics beyond the standard model predict the existence of new Abelian forces with new gauge bosons mediating interactions between "dark sectors" and the standard model. We report a search for a dark boson Z′ coupling only to the second and third generations of leptons in the reaction e+e-→μ+μ-Z′,Z′→μ+μ- using 514 fb-1 of data collected by the BABAR experiment. No significant signal is observed for Z′ masses in the range 0.212-10 GeV. Limits on the coupling parameter g′ as low as 7×10-4 are derived, leading to improvements in the bounds compared to those previously derived from neutrino experiments.

Abstract: Using the eight time dependences e-Γt(1+CicosΔmt+SisinΔmt) for the decays ϒ(4S)→B0B 0→fjfk, with the decay into a flavor-specific state fj=±X before or after the decay into a CP eigenstate fk=cc KS,L, as measured by the BABAR experiment, we determine the three CPT-sensitive parameters Re(z) and Im(z) in B0-B 0 mixing and |Ā/A| in B0→cc K0 decays. We find Im(z)=0.010±0.030±0.013, Re(z)=-0.065±0.028±0.014, and |Ā/A|=0.999±0.023±0.017, in agreement with CPT symmetry.

Abstract: We present the first constraints on cosmology from the Dark Energy Survey (DES), using weak lensing measurements from the preliminary Science Verification (SV) data. We use 139 square degrees of SV data, which is less than 3% of the full DES survey area. Using cosmic shear 2-point measurements over three redshift bins we find σ8(Ωm/0.3)0.5=0.81±0.06 (68% confidence), after marginalizing over 7 systematics parameters and 3 other cosmological parameters. We examine the robustness of our results to the choice of data vector and systematics assumed, and find them to be stable. About 20% of our error bar comes from marginalizing over shear and photometric redshift calibration uncertainties. The current state-of-the-art cosmic shear measurements from CFHTLenS are mildly discrepant with the cosmological constraints from Planck CMB data; our results are consistent with both data sets. Our uncertainties are ∼30% larger than those from CFHTLenS when we carry out a comparable analysis of the two data sets, which we attribute largely to the lower number density of our shear catalogue. We investigate constraints on dark energy and find that, with this small fraction of the full survey, the DES SV constraints make negligible impact on the Planck constraints. The moderate disagreement between the CFHTLenS and Planck values of σ8(Ωm/0.3)0.5 is present regardless of the value of w.
