The article discusses methodology of quality standard formulation of homeopathic pharmacy. There is a stable increase, in the pharmaceutical market, of homeopathic preparations, as manifested by the growing number of registered homeopathic drugs and the manufacture of homeopathic tinctures. This requires developing rules governing principles of the structure and formulation of quality standards. According to the prescriptions of homeopathic pharmacopoeias concerning the preparation of tinctures, a raw medicinal plant material has to be processed immediately, otherwise the material has to be stored deeply frozen or preserved in ethyl alcohol. Deeply frozen material can be transferred into ethyl alcohol of prescribed concentration and further processed taking into account the amount and concentration.
