Two cases of open irreducible dislocation of the distal interphalangeal joint are reported. One case involved the ring finger, and the other involved the thumb. The cause of irreducibility in both cases was an entrapment of the flexor digitorum profundus tendon behind the ulnar condyle of the adjacent phalanx., (Copyright 2013, SLACK Incorporated.)

This paper reports four cases of trigger finger that resulted from partial laceration of the flexor tendons. Of the four cases, there were one profundus and three superficialis tendons in three males and one female, ranging from 13 to 36 years of age.
