The fear of the end and the speculations on the hell, in the form of the diabolical and terrifying, they made his/her entrance in the imaginary medieval, in great measure, starting from the exegesis of the Apocalypse. The miniatures of Beatus, that treat of this biblical book, are replete of allusions to the hell and the diabolical beings that there inhabit. Starting from the idea that those images are bearers of a speech holder of an own dynamics, we will try to think as men and medieval women linked with that geography. We will focus two elements that, ours to see, they are linked to them figurative representation of the hell: the speech of the Church, director and controller and, the public, thought here don't eat passive, but capable receiving jewfish of it conditions and it molds that that is ready to receive.
