Abstract

The article discusses research which analyzed Medicare recipients from 2013 to 2020 to determine the recent trends in ophthalmic imaging and the technologies that ophthalmologists and optometrists prefer. Topics covered include the increase in the use of optical computed tomography (OCT), various OCT modalities with the highest volume of usage, and the increase in the overall volume of ophthalmic imaging services utilized for the recipients during the study period.
