Following our previous papers (hep-th/0212158 and hep-th/0303126) we complete the construction of the parafermionic theory with the symmetry Z_N based on the second solution of Fateev-Zamolodchikov for the corresponding parafermionic chiral algebra. In the present paper we construct the Z_N parafermionic theory for N even. Primary operators are classified according to their transformation properties under the dihedral group (Z_N x Z_2, where Z_2 stands for the Z_N charge conjugation), as two singlets, doublet 1,2,...,N/2-1, and a disorder operator. In an assumed Coulomb gas scenario, the corresponding vertex operators are accommodated by the Kac table based on the weight lattice of the Lie algebra D_{N/2}. The unitary theories are representations of the coset SO_n(N) x SO_2(N) / SO_{n+2}(N), with n=1,2,.... We suggest that physically they realise the series of multicritical points in statistical systems having a Z_N symmetry.

In this paper we present results of numerical simulations and some (analytical) approximations of a compact $U(1)\ltimes\ZZ_2$ lattice gauge theory, including an extra bare mass term for Alice fluxes. The subtle interplay between Alice fluxes and (Cheshire) magnetic charges is analysed. We determine the phase diagram and some characteristics of the model in three and four dimensions. We perform a perturbative analysis of the effective action, as defined in the paper, of quantum chiral W3 gravity. The results are given as a 1/c expansion, where c is the central charge of the matter system that drives the W3 gravity dynamics. Certain nonlocalities in the Ward identities for the induced action, which we found previously, are cancelled by 1-loop contributions from propagating spin-2 and spin-3 gauge fields. On the basis of these results, we propose an exact all-order result for the effective action.

This paper studies the electroweak production of all possible four-fermion states in $e^+e^-$ collisions with non-standard triple gauge boson couplings. All $CP$ conserving couplings are considered. It is an extension of the methods and strategy, which were recently used for the Standard Model electroweak production of four-fermion final states. Since the fermions are taken to be massless the matrix elements can be evaluated efficiently, but certain phase space cuts have to be imposed to avoid singularities. Experimental cuts are of a similar nature. With the help of the constructed event generator a number of illustrative results is obtained for $W$-pair production. These show on one hand the distortions of the Standard Model angular distributions caused by either off-shell effects or initial state radiation.
