The article offers information on the history of Dunedin Public Library in Dunedin, New Zealand. According to the article, the library was opened to public on December 2, 1908. Together with the council in the Province of Otago, the library has become the home to books and libraries in the country for a long time. With the leadership of John Hislop, Inspector Schools for the Otago Education Board, those books have also been placed in schools under the management of teachers, the time when there was no other center for the district.
