The article focuses on issues related to Italy's economic and political conditions. Italy's press is full of cliches about open borders and the financial measures the country must take to remain in the top league of European players. Italy's capitalist establishment has not done badly since the Third World war. It has presided over the country's second industrial revolution, then the overhaul of the economy, defeating the labor movement in the battle of Fiat and the struggle over the indexing of wages. While the newspapers were full of stories about the new government, most commentators were already thinking about a new regime. The old has done its time. Italy is probably the only country, along with Japan, in which the same party has been in office since the war.

This article focuses on Collier's magazine which won World War III on October 27, 1951. Thirty-four celebrated authors collaborated in the winning of the war, all engaged on "Operation Eggnog," a 60,000 word office blueprint of the conflict based on "study and consultation with political, military, and economic thinkers, including high-level Washington officials and foreign affairs experts both here and abroad." The horrors of Soviet rule, especially as portrayed by writer Arthur Koestier, made liberation by force an unquestionable necessity.

The problem of preventing a third world war presents itself to the present generation as a staggering challenge. Unless Americans would fritter away the great opportunity of the present time, unless they are willing to lose a peace bought with such toil and sacrifice, they must mobilize the intelligence of mankind in organizing the world of States to safeguard the security of all peoples. Americans shall proceed, of course, with serious limitations. Chief of them, perhaps, is the fact that Americans must act before the healing of the rifts, which the war has produced, while Americans themselves are in the grip of war psychology. In the years following 1919, most of the people were only too conscious of the serious consequences of war psychology on the Treaty of Versailles.

This article presents information on world peace and the effects of establishing a free press and radio in Soviet Union while keeping a hypothised third world war in mind. It is opined that D.F. Fleming's article on the above mentioned subject will help to prevent a third world war. However, it has also been opined that such articles gives rise to widespread alarm and indignation. The relevant articles being published does not even give a hint of the wastes of human suffering that such a war entails.

The article discusses the book "Way of a Fighter, The Memoirs of Claire Lee Chennault, Major General, United States Army (Retd.)," edited by Robert Hotz. General Chennault's book, "Way of a Fighter;" fights the Japanese and his numerous other enemies all over again through twenty-one chapters and in a strident foreword reaches out toward the Third World War with Soviet Union. It expresses the post-war attitude of a fighting man, made famous by warfare, who in the present cold-war period has no solution to the world's ills but more and better fighting.

The seminar will be held at General Theological Seminary, 175 9th Avenue at 21st Street, New York City. The seminar is for people whose vision and spirit goes beyond peace politics as usual. A meeting to educate participants and the general public about space weapons and to develop strategy to stop the arms race in space, will be held at Stars Convention, Box 915, Colorado Springs.
